Dan was super helpful and friendly, we had an amazing experience renting a storage unit. I think this was our second time using this place to store stuff. It's easy to maneuver to and from your unit with the carts. I would definitely recommend this place. But you know what I would recommend even more?.... Minimalism, living with less "stuff" buy experiences, not crap to put in a storage unit. Travel, live life, and if you have to store stuff, donate things you really don't NEED, that way you have less stuff to move. Also, if you are moving in and out of a storage unit, you are going to buy new things when you get to wherever you land next.... Downsize if possible. But if not, definitely store your crap here! Last year, I got into a car accident and couldn't dress or shower or take care of myself for a few months until the collarbone healed. Had to move out of my old place especially after someone broke into my apartment garage and broke the hinge of the door frame area. Long story short, my bf asked me to move into his apartment and I couldn't fit all my stuff into his place so I rented a storage unit from May 2021 - December 2021. Through it all, the gentleman here have been nice and kind and try to work with all the mess going on with me and of course other people renting there. It's clean, well managed, they secure the building and make sure to abide by Covid rules. Also, they allowed me to use their truck to go up and down the ramp 3-4 times to move my stuff in and the 3-4 times to move it out because the giant moving trucks were too big. In the end, I'm very grateful to Dan & Jim and their other employee who drove the truck up and down for me when I moved out. Thanks for working with me. read more

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Friendly, well-run, no-frills storage place. I got a 6x10 storage space with them a few months ago and so far I'm satisfied with the space and service. James is the person I've interacted the most (he's also the one who initially set up my account) and he is just the most nice, friendly guy ever, always greeting customers with a smile. While clean and well-kept, this is not the most high-tech storage facility. They don't have key card entry or climate-controlled units; you have to manually sign in and out every time you visit. If you happen to be making multiple trips in quick succession they'll let you sign in and out once, which is nice. Access hours are pretty limited to normal business hours also. That said, location and price were winning factors for me and it suits my needs just fine. read more

This place has to be one of the best storages I've ever used. I had my space for over a year and never had ANY problems! Everyone who works there are so friendly! It's a pretty quiet location. This place is great! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Any time I have a question they answer them for me. Trust me when I say, I have a lot of questions regularly, haha. They have a lot of packing supplies, which I feel is a fair price. I'm frequently buying boxes and bubble wrap from them. They operate from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. 8:30am to 5:00pm Saturday and 9:00am to 3:00pm Sunday. I see this as a benefit. Outside of those hours the storage facility is locked, adding security to what I have locked in my personal unit. They have security cameras throughout the facility and you're required to sign in and out when you're there (again, added security). In addition, I feel the overall unit I pay for is priced reasonably. I pay on a month-to-month bases on auto-pay. I was able to set that up online. I will say, the only downside, for me, is that they don't take Discover or American Express, but cash is king and my wife has Visa and MasterCard's we can use, as well. It's not the end of the world. I've stored at U-haul before and this place is a breath of fresh air comparatively. Overall, they really care about your experience and I'm really happy with mine. read more

Very helpful! Located close to the art district of Long Beach, this storage place provides mailboxes, boxes and packing supplies, and U-Haul trucks. The lady behind the counter was so sweet and her assistant was just as nice. I needed to change my U-Haul reservations and she managed to help me out, make recommendations, and offer a more affordable deal to help accomodate my moving needs. I found them through the (800) number of U-Haul, but I'm sure that if you're in a rut and catch them during their Monday-Friday hours from 8:00AM-5:30PM or on the weekends from 8:00AM-5:00PM they will help you figure out some deal with a U-Haul. read more

I used Store-N-Save the last two months as temporary storage while we moved into our new home. Everything about this storage unit exceeded my expectations. Extremely friendly and helpful staff from James and his team, extremely convenient facilities regarding access and carting my stuff back and forth. They even have a fully stock retail section where you can buy everything you need, including boxes, packaging material, etc. This was truly a one stop shop. I highly recommend them. I have rented here for the past eleven years. The place is clean, safe, and secure. For you Long Beach history buffs, the building is an old Duesenberg dealership. I rented a unit on the third level. You can pull your vehicle onto any level to load or unload. The facility provides carts to wheel your stuff to and from your vehicle to the unit. The location is very convenient and the staff is always very friendly. James the manager runs a great shop. They have a truck you can rent for a small charge, well worth it to move everything at once. If you need to store your stuff, this is the place! read more

I've been storing some belongings at Store-N-Save for roughly 2 years and I've found this facility to be great. We had a 10' x 6' room and there was no problem accessing the unit, ever. The grounds are always very clean and the two gentleman that work there are always very courteous, professional and friendly. I typically dealt with James Gonzalez and because of his professional demeanor, you'd think he owns the facility. I highly recommend using Store-N-Save for any storage needs you might have. Customer service at this place of business is zero at best. According to the manager, James, at StoreNSave in Long Beach, CA, all their rental accounts were sent to UHaul Company for collection. Why? I was told that UHaul gets more money forStoreNSave's rental accounts than does StoreNSave. So, all the accounts were sent to UHaul. Trying to make a payment to UHaul for my storage unit ($150.00) a month hasn't succeeded. The clickers on the payment page don't work - and because of this, I have accrued penalties on top of the $150/month. Calling UHaul'S Customer Service in the past hasn't rectified this situation. I'm told that they don't take payments from any business except Uhaul & NO OTHER BUSINESS. I used to pay StoreNSave in Long Beach the $150/mo. with no problem. I have been charged with approx. $85 - $90 penalties from UHaul, so someone is fooling around with the buttons that indicate payments (that don't work for me) but do work for someone else when penalties are involved. Please get back to me. You need to know that your accounts section is in jeopardy, possibly facing criminal charges. I've been told by your Customer Svc on a different occasion to get the manager over at StoreNSave to correct this situation and repay the penalty money that is owed me from UHaul. He, James, denies this and refuses to get involved with Uhaul for StoreNSave's customer accounts. Also I need copies of all the recorded conversations I've had with UHaul regarding this matter. Front desk clerk was very helpful. The issue came when signing the agreement. Did you know this business specifically requires its customers to be US Citizens? The very first line on their agreement specifies it, but the clerk attempted to blow it off by saying it was only to ensure a valid ID was presented. If that were the case, that's what should be said: valid ID required. Otherwise, it's discrimination. Unfortunately, I was too stunned to act quickly and snap a pic, but if you have a unit there, and have a copy of the agreement, you'll see it. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. We just cleaned out our unit that we have rented for storage for the past year. We used both of our cars to do so, and now both cars are infested with fleas. We have tried every possible method to get rid of them. And before you suggest that maybe the fleas came from somewhere else, we have no animals. My kids legs are covered in bites. I'm hoping the fleas did not transfer to the house... We have emailed this company and have yet to get a response. Don't store your stuff here!!! We have talked to several pest control people and they ALL said storage places that have fleas have rats. read more

It is very tough for me to not like a company but Store N Save has changed that. They have the worst customer service I've ever encountered, charge exorbitant monthly fees with ridiculous late fees ($15-24 if you don't pay on the due date) and are just generally unhelpful. Don't pay any attention to other negative reviews, they don't know what they're talking about. This is a Great place to rent a storage unit. The manager James was so nice and accommodating to our needs, on move-in day, as well as later when we went online to pay our monthly rental fee when the online payment site charged me for 2 months instead of 1. James quickly issued us a refund for the 2nd month. On move-in day, they only had a 2nd level unit available but James was so helpful in helping us get our larger items to the upper level with his smaller truck since we had a large UHaul. Overall, we are very happy and will use it to store my daughters items every summer between college years. Highly recommend! Thanks James! read more
