Today, while I was there to PAY MY RENT, I was informed that I was not allowed to use the dumpster and it was "only for his use." The way that was handled was unprofessional and bad for business in my opinion. Interesting policy considering it's sitting there completely accessible to paying tenants. I hope the few dollars it cost them for me to use their dumpster was worth more than the $2,400 a year they were getting from me. November will be my last month. Congrats you saved some dumpster space and lost a customer.

Cathy was very patient with us as we asked to see multiple units. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions. She made sure to let us know the special pricing Lighthouse was promoting and made sure we receive the move in specials. The overall location was very clean. It is located in a busy location on Beach Blvd and Hazard, so I felt it is safe to keep our belongings there. I would recommend Lighthouse Self Storage, if you are looking for a storage unit. It is clean, safe, and they have friendly and helpful staffs.

In 6 months of renting here, my rate went from $98 to $177 and is now increasing to $249. Rate increases are normal and acceptable - this is not "keeping up with market rates," it's a bait & switch. If you want your holiday ruined, store your belongings here…read more This is the second time our storage unit has been broken into. The first was in May 2026, and we gave this place the benefit of the doubt and kept our unit. Fast forward to July 3, 2026 we were supposed to leave for a camping trip, I opened our unit to find that whatever we had left was gone. According to management, there were "no signs of forced entry," yet thousands of dollars worth of camping gear disappeared. Our Yeti cooler, 10 person tent, expensive camp chairs, shower tent, 8 pairs of expensive shoes, and other electonic camping equipment were all stolen. The explanation of "no signs of forced entry" raises serious questions. If there truly was no forced entry, then how did our belongings disappear? It's difficult not to wonder whether this could have involved unauthorized internal access or another serious security failure. Either way, that's unacceptable. What's even more disappointing is the lack of support from management. After two break-ins, we received little to no help. To whoever stole our belongings: I hope karma catches up with you. You didn't just steal our gear you ruined our holiday plans. I will be contacting my attorney to discuss our legal options. If you're considering renting a unit here, think twice.

Despite having a 10 digit login, I had it completely memorized by the end because you have to login to get in the facility, to get in the building, and again to get into your area. I am a new custormer and already had water damage in my unit with several cardboard boxes and their contents damaged. Then I was told I had to move my boxes so that the drywall in my unit could be repaired. I arrived at the appointed time and no one showed, not even a phone call or text to advise me that anything had changed, and of course no onsite agent was onsite.
