Skip it. Bait and switch. Reserved a unit with specific dimensions. First couldn't find my reservation. Had to show him the email. Couldn't find my info because supposedly my name was reversed. Pretty sure I know how to type in the order of my damn name. Then the guy (Don't know his name. Has a mohawk and tat on the right arm) proceeded to show me a more expensive unit and not the units matching what I reserved. How do I know? He asked me the upselling questions and never showed me the reserved unit and said none of them were available to show until the day of the move-in? Then why have me reserve? Do you think I'm dumb enough to rent a unit I've never seen? They have 2 dollies for the entire building btw. Then he was performing some speech, pumping up the storage building like a sales pitch he just learned in his Management 101 Class. Cut the bullshit. And show me the unit I reserved. I finally had to share with him I've rented for a decade at all different types of storage companies so I already have experience of what makes a good or bad storage company. This guy either needs more training or put in another role. He wasn't receptive to being challenged with feedback. The whole fake salesman persona was offputting. Come to find out this is new management which they should have been upfront about. They've only been here a month. You can tell if you ever have issues with this storage location that they're going to have every excuse. Bottom line is if I reserve a unit online, I expect to be shown a unit that matches that criteria. What a waste of time. And please don't tell me to email your generic customer service email regarding this situation which will most likely go nowhere. But at least, I can warn people to not rent here. read more

Great Staff and Service I was having some issues with my reservation online and Joseph and Evelyn helped me out with the service I needed thanks to Joseph . I definitely recommend this place for storage read more

This storage place is the worst they advertise low storage rates to lure you in. They gave me half off my first month and then my rent went to regular price fine yes I agree to that sounds good. A few months later I get on disability due to a slip and fall. Me being a good customer trying to hold my end of the deal up. I send my boyfriend over there to make a payment for me because I had not received my disability check. He does so next month comes and he comes to my house and says hey your storage place charged me $257. I said what no way why you paid it last month right? Yes I did. He says well what did they charge you $129 ok let me call and see what the problem is I call over there. Low and behold the woman was extremely rude yelling in my ear, sir. You gotta put your pin code in. I said go ahead and finish up that customer. I'll call back. She says no no I'm done helping him she continue to scream to him from the telephone in my ear and then when I says OK are you sure you don't want me to call back no ma'am give me your unit number. I said I don't have my unit number. I don't even know what it is to be honest with you. I just put my stuff in there and I don't even go there often. OK give me your name. Can you break it down to me and let me know why the storage unit went from 129 to 257 and how come nobody called me and let me know. And why did you go ahead and charge his card again that was really embarrassing for me. I just asked him to do it that one time until my check came, and then they were taking it out again without even asking I was so embarrassed and then to be doubled in price. I freaked out. I said oh shit what the hell why would it go up that much? She said ma'am we sent you an email stating the prices were gonna be raised I said the prices we're gonna be raised and doubled and I said I don't have access to my email man can you send me something along the lines of a text or in the mail? Oh no, that will cost three dollars extra. Well You don't have a problem sending me it if I am a little late. If the payment does not come out of my account that same day, they text you three or four times that day and the next day no five day grace period. No nothing they bug you till they get the damn payment, that's why I sent him the first time their money hungry they bug you on the day. Your payment is due if your payment does not come out of your account automatically and then they double your rent with just a freaking email and then the lady says oh no no no I'm not gonna listen to this and then hangs up on me girl I just listen to you yelling in my ear for two minutes to another customer that's not professional. I offered to hang up and call back so you could finish helping the man and then you wanna get on me cause I'm freaking out saying oh shit what the hell you tell me somebody on disability how they can just have their whole life in a storage unit and then just get an email saying that your rents getting doubled. How in the heck am I supposed to go over there? Get my stuff out with a broken back and now move it to a new place. I can't afford to pay movers to do that for me now I am stuck paying this payment I will never ever ever ever ever ever. Use them again. Refer anybody to them or go back to them again it is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. read more

Review: I strongly advise against renting from this company to store your items. Despite reaching out to customer service, as the owner suggested, I received no meaningful assistance. This company advertises itself as offering the "best rates," but after the initial promotional period of two months at half price, they hit you with unexpected price increases -- in my case, just three months into renting. They justify the increase by claiming other storage companies are doing the same, which is simply not true. For instance, companies like Public Storage typically don't raise rates until after a full year of renting. This company, however, seems solely focused on squeezing as much money out of you as possible. I contacted customer service, and they claimed rates are reviewed and increased after 5-12 months, yet my rent went up by $80 after just three months. I had moved my entire life into this storage unit while trying to get back on my feet, and their only suggestion was to move to a smaller unit -- which doesn't work for my needs. Their customer service has been unhelpful, and it's clear the representatives don't know how to address customer concerns effectively. I'm extremely disappointed with their business practices and lack of support. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more honest and reliable company. read more

I don't understand this facility!..after two months prices goes from $80 A month to $200 for 10x10..now I received indication another increase by email and it's not even 30 days notice! given!....defintely gauging here based on rise of homelessness and rent increase!..in California!.. Im struggling as it is!..now my storage unit is super high its unconstitutional like paying rent!..No other facility's or storage units change nearly what this secure space storage unit charges here. in Torrance!,.,I'm definely considering other Locations!..very bad sitration worst then ever knowing we're in a state of emergency and even a shit down!.. Great customer service! Thanks Vance, this place is clean and I've had no problems renting here. Got everything I needed for a good rate.

Another not secure price gouging storage facility. It seems yall are all one and the same. Manager though on site and visibly in office never answers phone. The "nice" new looking building doesn't make up for poor customer service and absurd price fluctuations. Very much a gotcha price with their promos vs regular rate. Over priced locks too read more

The staff is awesome. Not happy with upper management and fees. Fees should be waived based on customer time with storage space. Meaning if you have more than one unit. Mike and LA Roddy and Jordan are great and very helpful. read more

I was in the market of looking for a storage facility, and I came across SecureSpace in Torrance! This was the best decision I made. LaRoddy was so patient, kind, and took her time to break down all my options. I feel like I got a great deal on the unit I chose. The facility was clean and tidy. The value of the unit was worth it to me. You will not be disappointed! read more

Whoever designed the lot needs to do that never again. It's like they didn't realize we need to carry stuff into the storage building, or that carts can be dangerous when they are loaded. The designers put some plants right where you need to walk and tilted the concrete so carts would roll and bang into cars. There is a curb to lift all of your stuff over unless you want to use the handicapped area. It was designed by architecture students or someone who hasn't stored stuff themselves. Service was good when I signed up. The building is brand new and clean. Location is excellent next to freeway. read more

Secure, clean, easy access, easy to find location, fast & friendly service. Competitive prices and spacious storage spaces. Great 2 months half off special. read more

The place looks great and people are nice but the design makes it almost impossible to get into the building. They placed plants and in front of the building's only entrance on a very narrow sidewalk which is sloped so that your heavy cart will go spilling into the parking lot if you don't constantly have your hand on it. You can't get in the front door if a car has parked in front of the door. They didn't think about a ramp when they designed this. read more

I came here to store my furniture starting in February of 2022. I was getting out of a bad breakup and I needed to quickly move my furniture into a storage unit and moved back in with my parents temporarily. When I first started with then the price was affordable. It started off at $135. Well I have gone from paying $135-$158 and now I have a notice stating that starting May 1st the rate will be $170. The rate is going up far too rapidly and I'm spending way more than I'd like to on a small storage unit. I'm going to have to start looking elsewhere. I've been with them a little over a year and the price has changed 3 times which isn't cool. The facility is nice and looks brand new. That is what caught my attention with this storage facility and the staff is friendly but the rate goes up way too often. read more
