This review may be a few days late, but as promised, I would like to commend Cheyanne, the branch manager, for being so responsive, accommodating, and helpful. I had used Extra Space Storage at a different location but didn't have a showing of the unit prior to booking, and Cheyanne did just that. When I asked for a copy of my contract, Cheyanne promptly sent it to me. I appreciate the customer service rendered. I got a unit here in October while me and my son lived with family while I looked for a new place. They did not offer renters insurance from what I was told and they said it was "climate control" it definitely wasn't. I was supposed to move into a new place in may so I had to stop by my unit to grab some things I go in and there's a horrible smell and I find mold on everything me and my son own. I'm a 24 year old single mother. I was not notified of any water leaks they said took place in February after I found the mold. This place has one job and that's to keep your things safe. Everything I own is gone and the only thing they can say is sorry. None of this is my fault I paid on time every month and nothing is salvageable from the mold everything I own is gone child hood photos, furniture, clothes, my bed, my sons bed, my entire kitchen everything I've worked for is gone and they said "sorry". Never get a unit here unless you want everything covered in mold. Absolutely ridiculous that I paid everything on time I work really hard and everything I own is gone because of a money hungry company that doesn't care what happens to peoples things. read more

My cousin and I came here last Friday and we needed to change our lock because we misplaced the key and we wanted to make sure that somebody else was not allowed to come back into the property. Cheyenne Barbosa was extremely helpful. From the minute we walked in she greeted as kindly welcomed us and she took care of business right away. We paid for the change of lock and she followed us to our storage room and cut the lock off immediately. I just want to give her 20 stars and you should have more employees like her. Went to my unit today to find rat poop all over my things. Several hallways outside of my unit also have rat poop. So I now have to move my things to another property, after my last unit had a water leak, Not even a year ago. I asked what is going to be done, I was told my the DM Brian that they have a new pest control company that is trying to get a handle on the situation that puts traps and urine around the property to deter them. I was told "you know how long it takes to get things done." I worked there for 12 years and know that if I have rats, so do many other units. There is NO sense of urgency from anyone. I'm supposed to be comforted that I have $2000 worth of insurance on the unit? I now have to hire someone to move my things, rent a truck and get rid of whatever is ruined. read more

I have stored my stuff here for about 2 years. Everything was great until I went to move out of the facility (I hadn't been by in a couple months because of COVID). When I started moving things I realized there was a lot of rat poop and little rat footprints. As I got to my chairs and desk in the back of the unit they were absolutely covered in rat poop and urine. This wasn't a lone rat, it was like these suckers were having a party in my unit. I've never kept any food there. This was all of my home and office furniture that I needed to store until I was able to move into a new home. Now, after paying almost $200 a month on my unit and the insurance... I can't use the items I was saving because they are soaked in feces. I even tried to have the stains removed, but no luck. I had to throw away bags of samples I use for work because the rats had eaten though the bags and had been hanging out. They ate my work documents too! I moved out on Sept 28 and I showed the property manager (a blonde woman, she was actually very nice and said there was a problem in the past with an infestation but they had sprayed and thought it wasn't a problem anymore. The brunette woman was very rude). I have tried to file a claim since I'd been paying for insurance, but it's been almost a month and all I have is a notice of the claim filed. If your storing your stuff here because you want to use it again later, be very careful. Even if you cover your stuff it may end up soaked in rat poo and pee and there's nothing they will do to help you. The nice manager let me give her one trash bag full and my lamp to throw away.. but just know that they wouldn't even let you leave the poo covered items in there. I had to come back on a separate day with gloves, a mask and a truck to haul my stuff to a dumpster. I've included some photos. I honestly didn't want to post this, but I'm hoping this motivates the insurance company (American Claims Management) to contact me regarding my claim. read more

I've had a storage unit at this spot for 2 years. Their are three other storage companies near this place. But this is by far the safest and cleanest of them all. The manager Cheyanne is friendly but professional and does a great job of keeping the property properly maintained and in order. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! My brother rents a unit here, and I don't know about anybody else but he downsized & was storing all his possessions in the unit. He's had health issues recently & his unit was broken into a few months ago. He bought a lock from the storage place & the person who burglarized the unit broke the whole lock off. Fast forward 2 surgeries later & the Storage place increased his rent, so we moved him to a smaller unit, guess what? The new unit was burglarized a few days later & they took all of the items he was saving to sell at a community garage sale after he got in better Health. The manager said, "the lock he used was cheap" Granted the stuff that was stolen was not worth much but to my brother it did. You would think after all the units that were broken into the manager or owner would install cameras or a guard to walk around to deter them from doing it again. DO NOT RENT HERE! All was fine at the storage unit until I got a call on Monday saying something might have happened and I needed to come down there. Turns out my storage unit has been burglarized. They said it probably happened on Sunday as they don't have staff on site. The worst part is they have had a bunch of units broken into recently and instead of reaching out to tenants they thought going around daily checking locks was enough! Now my dead grandpa's ship lamp is gone forever. They took a electric scooter, the lamp (brass, big, expensive), my rolling duffle bag filled with stuff I use for touring, a box of collectible rock memorabilia and a box of bar utensils. The fact is they didn't trash it, they went through my stuff meticulously like they had all the time in the world. My unit was near an emergency exit which of course they don't have cameras on. Thoroughly disappointing in this "secure" storage facility. Needless to say If you have a unit there be careful!!! Take out anything valuable to you so you don't deal with a loss like I had!!!! read more

One star is for the condition of the facility. It's very well-kept and in order. The other is for the staff. They've been Professional. There is where I stop. Renters need to be warned.We did not get 1st month free as they advertise- many stipulations for that. We did get 1/2 off 1st month & then @ 4 1/2 months raised 15%, (assured more raises to come) after being told few and minimal increases to occur upon signing. Guess they figure when they have your stuff there they have you over a barrel. If I find a place with free months rent, I will go through the exercise of moving all my stuff, again. read more

Initially, when I met my sales clerk Ian, I was struck by his professionalism. He showed me a really nice unit that I needed to create more space at home. I didn't want to overload our own garage so I decided to venture out in this direction. This is a very clean facility and I can appreciate the quietness of it. I ordered my space online got there used my own truck had my Fiance' bring stuff into night before move day! the doors locked and he left his backpack with everything in it so went back in and while he was getting his stuff the gates all closed , (Remember Ist day and just got it) He didn't know code by heart yet So he had to jump the fence to get out! So next day is Moving day and they won't let me rent now cause he jumped the fence on video they said! I tried to explain but they said take your business elsewhere! I had to find another place that Moving day and now have to come back and get stuff from that storage unit with my truck extra work for me!! Got my $$ back that was the only good thing! After 5 years of renting, I found that my storage unit was broken into and most of my valuables were taken. The burglar was smart enough to replace my existing lock with a new lock that looked exactly the same. The only identifier was that my key did not fit in the hole. The staff advised me to file a police report and claim. If you plan on renting a unit here or at any storage facility for that matter, be smart and buy insurance. This is the best storage place I have ever used. The staff is friendly, professional and always helpful. The grounds are kept clean. The access hours are more than reasonable. They have really nice heavy-duty carts to carry boxes around on. The location is very user friendly. Once I forgot to lock my unit and within an hour I received a call, now that's service! The lighting is great. My unit stayed very cool even when it reached 100 outside. They are also nice enough to sign for packages. My experience here has been the best ever! I will recommend this particular location to any of my friends who need storage that is safe, clean, and secure. read more

I have had multiple units at this facility over the past six years and couldn't imagine storing my things anywhere else. Ms. Areola is the nicest gal and goes beyond the expectation in order to make things as easy as possible. And by far the cleanest facility I've ever seen.
