The notice I received on July 29, 2025, clearly states my new rate would be $458.00 per month, plus a $12.00 protection plan premium, for a new total of $470.00. Furthermore, I have not received any communication from your staff as you claim. My records show a formal notice of a rate increase, not a system "glitch." The attached payment receipt from December 21, 2024, shows my previous rate, which is clearly different from the one stated in the notice. I expect a prompt and accurate resolution to this matter, as well as a clear explanation for the contradictory information I have received.

Dear Seacliff Self Storage Management, I am writing in response to your message. Your statement that my rate was not increased is inaccurate. The notice I received on July 29, 2025, clearly states my new rate would be $458.00 per month, plus a $12.00 protection plan premium, for a new total of $470.00. Furthermore, I have not received any communication from your staff as you claim. My records show a formal notice of a rate increase, not a system "glitch." Elevators break on a regular basis and Management does not want to accommodate customers. If your storage is close to one of the roll up doors they make you walk all the way across the facility to the other elevator and keep the stairwells lock so you have to walk all the way across the entire facility. Meanwhile they charge a premium to be close to the elevator. No discount for the elevator being broken for almost an entire week. When I asked the office for the second time about fixing the elevator the counter lady was very rude! I am sure that you get asked the same questions all fay but rudeness is never the answer!

Horrible treatment! We stored all of our belongings for one and a half years at $195.00 per month. When we went back to take it out we found that my wife's 100 year old Turkish rug from Istanbul (which she acquired in Turkey) was destroyed by moth larva and our wooden furniture had mold everywhere. I noticed at the upper back part of the storage unit that there was sunlight coming through which tells me that rain had gotten in or moisture had gotten in somehow along with moths. They took pictures and we filled out a report but never got a copy of the report with their signature on it! That was in early December 2019. I have called The district manager Christine several times always leaving messages only getting a non- helpful "You need to talk to ..." pass off. I asked her for a copy of the report and she said we couldn't have one because it had internal notes now. I would never recommend anybody put their belongings in this companies units. I am still waiting for the copy of the company signed complaint form. I made calls on their corporate office phone and tried going through every extension leaving messages several times to no avail. Can anyone recommend an attorney?

Her customer service was great, but the company policies are ridiculous. As an active member of the state military we are afforded certain legal protections and they have you check a box stating whether or not your military on the application. When you are they request that you sign a waiver of all state and federal military rights. That pushed me over the edge to cancel a contract I just signed. The first red flag was being told that after 3 months my rate would increase an unknown amount with a minimum of 5% increase. So they get you in for a discounted entry rate and claim the price there after is the standard rate, which I understand, but then they only charge you that standard rate for one month and increase it. This itself seems like false advertising and misleading. I do intend to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office because of the misleading advertising. The second red flag was going to the unit that was reserved and seeing a large air conditioning duct in the unit. This ducting took up an entire corner and I was told if I wanted a unit without a duct it would be $40 more per month. If you are advertising a 10x10 space, I should receive a 10x10 space. Again, another form of false advertising. I already filled up a truck full of items to install into the new storage unit, but now I am back home looking for another spot to rent otherwise I have to go back to my original storage unit and put everything back in there. Waste of time!

Art, Nate, David; this…read morereview is for yall I had a family friend named Denny who was like a father to me; before he passed, we came here many years ago; and after clearing some cabinets he told me to use this storage because the service was impeccable. I just chalked it up to old man stuff; who gets excited by storage? Well fast forward to today and now I'm an older man and let me tell you, service matters. Art was the first person to help me; he was so polite, helpful, and best of all, NOT PUSHY! He showed me all three units they had, and at the end I mentioned I was going to check out public storage, a competitor down the street. Art smiled and said I should def check them out, because it would mean I would be coming back to him. Boy was he right; I went, checked it out, and came running back the next day asking if Art still had space left for me Nate helped me with my paperwork, payment; etc etc, and like Art; wasn't pushy and ultra polite. My move in date was a week away, so he recommended we put a hold on the spot I wanted, and when I was ready, to call him up A week later, I called up the shop and they were able to not only rent me to unit; BUT offer a moving truck to help me move, free of charge! David drove the truck to my place, got the ramp down for us and when we were done, drove the truck back for us to offload. The entire time he too, like the other gentlemen prior, had impeccable manners and service Thank you sirs for making this the easiest and pleasant moving/storage experience If you want amazing service, prices, and REAL genuine manners, look no further! The annoying part is calling around getting "estimates." Willie was the individual I spoke with on the phone. Super polite, patient, and knowledgeable along with being friendly. A week later I showed up and he again advised what was available. The process took less than 30 minutes. He showed me the unit. Conducted the paperwork. Explained everything in detail, and gave me a few reminders. Willie is such a gem! Due to his politeness over the phone and the cost being lower versus the others in the area for the size of the unit I desired were the only reasons I chose this location. Downstairs unit 10x11 for $185 a month beats $200-$280 with the surrounding storage units. But if you go upstairs is it 50% off first 3 months. Due to me needing to start selling some furnishings from my business I needed easier access which is why I chose downstairs. But that is schematics... the cost of the unit is just cheaper.
