Ralph and team are amazing and the storage facilities are exactly what I needed at reasonable rates. Probably even cheaper than most of the other storage facilities around HB. The rental process was hassle-free and painless and couldnt recommend this business enough. Even though Ralph is always on me about how much time I am there digging out this or that to flip or sell online...I appreciate he takes the time to actually get to know his customers. Customer support, security, cost & a moving truck. Hands down Ralph & his team which included Lisa won me over. The facility is older, yes, but the attention to details when I took a tour to explain policy & procedures & why they were important in maintaining a clean, safe & friendly environment for each customer was impressive. I have used AAA self storage for 7 years. I have never had a problem with this Co. 1. They tend to run $20 to $40 dollars cheaper for comparable units. 2. I really hate bugs! I never had a problem with that here. 3. There was never a problem with transients living in their units or the parking lot. They keep the units clean and easy to access. I have always been treated respectfully by office staff. If I were ever to need storage again, I would call them first. Its rare in my life to not hit some kind of glitch when dealing with any business for a long stretch. I literally never had any issue at all ever with this co. Very easy to work with. read more

Very impressed with the level of professional courtesy given by Ralph, the owner. For the security of your property and others, Ralph is very clear about the rules and guidelines for the storage unit complex. Moving from out of state is very stressful most especially during pandemic most especially when you made a reservation and getting there and no ones there to check you in stuck with the truck full load of stuff. Had to move out of my apartment in a bit of a rush, but when I visited this facility the on-site manager was so kind and helpful, I immediately felt better. He walked me up to the unit, showed me how the lift worked, and provided me with comforting advice. When I arrived (very late) to actually put my items into my storage unit, he was super empathetic and understood that my movers were the cause of my being late. He allowed me to stay and finish loading my storage unit. I've never felt more comfortable leaving my items at a storage unit. 12/10 recommend. read more

If I could give more stars I would!!! I have stored my boat here on two different occasions. The only reason I left was because a spot came up closer to my house about 25 miles south. This is a top notch facility, from my first dealings with Bud and Sharon years ago to now dealing with Ralph, they are all extremely professional. The facility is clean, secure and I definitely don't worry about leaving my boat here at all. Ralph is always out in the yard so there is always that element of someone keeping an eye on your stuff. I would like to mention here how much I appreciate their helpfulness in my move at the end of last month. The gals and guys at AAA did a stellar job in assisting me. There was first, a new employee, can't remember her name "Lisa?" Anyway, she figured out exactly what I needed quickly and put together a plan and a conversation with her superiors to be sure all was right. That's the right way to do it. Be sure that you understand the customer and get what needs to be done well, done. Ralph the manager was great too. He would call and check with me along the way, so he knew and I knew what to expect and forecast. I was five days late getting my move done, and they did everything they could to take care of me. Very disappointed by the staff here. Very friendly upfront but not after service begins. Parking situation is... interesting. You get in trouble if you wait in your car for 5 minutes or longer. Storage units don't have lights and are layered with cardboard or cheap wood at the bottom. Would only recommend for storing stuff you will never need. read more

I have been a tennant at AAA Self Storage-Huntington Beach for many years now. Back in the day when i was first searching for a clean affordable storage facility, i came across AAA. I met Vivian Fay, who ran AAA on a daily basis for many years, extremely successfully, i might add. Sadly to say, Vivian retired, leaving the facility to the TNT Management Company to run. Never in my wildest dreams, could a very content tennant such as myself imagine that they could find On-Site Managers, such as Sharon & Bud Deering to take over the daily management. Not only have they cleaned up the less desirable tennants that some lived at the facility. But cleaned the property up as well. Outstanding, professional & always greeting you with a huge smile hello, and a over flowing candy dish in the office. A huge thank you to Judy who runs the office while Sharon & Bud take time off. A little nostalgia, Judy worked with Vivian for many years, so since Vivian has since passed on, it always feel as if Vivian is always watching over the property. read more

When making our monthly payments it is always recepted with a emailed receipt. Love that they are up with the technology today. Hi. We only went in here to look since it was cheap and close, and were very disappointed. Cheap is the optimal word, because this place is really old and in terrible condition. Homeless people hanging around both inside and outside the gates, and I would guess living in there since there is trash everywhere. We did not feel safe here, and would certainly not trust them to store any of our things there. read more

The staff is friendly and I have been a customer of AAA Self Storage since 2005 and I have never had a problem with safety or security concerns. They have competitive prices on units and I have never had a problem finding a cart. As prices go up I would however like to see some improvements such as better lighting and later gate access hours. read more
