This is by far the most affordable storage facility in O.C. It's a safe and secure facility. I've been renting a unit here for about 7 years, and recently upgraded to a more larger unit at a price I wouldn't find anywhere else. The Manager, Ralph, and his staff are always polite and provide exceptional customer service. It's located in a quiet Huntington Beach industrial business park off Saturn Dr and Gothard. read more

After using AAA Self Storage without too many issues for over two years, I finally got fed up and left. They could've had a 20 year customer, as I have a storage trailer that I've stored long-term for many years. Instead, the manager, Ralph, who's always on a power trip felt it was OK to charge me a late fee, even though I had paid a year ahead of time two years in a row. They tried to scam me. I'm not sure if they do this with other customers where they don't send out a late notice, even though they specify that they do, and then just charge a late fee. Since I had not received payment due notification, I didn't realize it was time to pay up again which normally I do pay a full year right upfront. Of course, I received the late notice, but never received the email saying that my year of payment has ended and that it's time to pay again so in other words, I never received an invoice of payment due, only a late fee. It happened two years in a row, and after pointing this out to Ralph, the so-called "manager". He just was belligerent and said "oh we definitely sent out the payment due email and text message", both of which I never received and I showed him on my phone texts and email that I never did. He refused to remove the late fee, so I moved out, and now have done a one year upfront payment with another place down the street. I highly recommend that you do not use AAA Self Storage while Ralph is still the manager there and until they fix their late fee scam that they apparently have going on. They have no business sense. My next-door neighbor just got a storage facility for his three jet skis, a boat and Motorhome, and asked me where he should go. I certainly steered him away from AAA Self Storage and will surely do so for anyone else that I know, looking for storage now and in the future. read more

Ralph is the man super safe and convenient: will be coming back for sure!!!!!! Right in heart of Hb

Good service. Friendly staff. Ralph is very easy to work with. The facility is older but that is fine for me and having a live on site person is good for security. read more

I will write another review in time, but this is my initial experience. Ralph and Desiree were great. Cut and dry, in and out process. No surprises price wise. read more

Ralph and team are amazing and the storage facilities are exactly what I needed at reasonable rates. Probably even cheaper than most of the other storage facilities around HB. The rental process was hassle-free and painless and couldnt recommend this business enough. Even though Ralph is always on me about how much time I am there digging out this or that to flip or sell online...I appreciate he takes the time to actually get to know his customers. It's that kinda customer service I value more than anything and it's nice to know I am supporting a true local businessman. If you need a basic storage unit or a place to store a boat or RV...give this place your business. read more

Very nice people that work here! I been here almost 3 years and my unit NEVER got broken into.

This place had a great special! It is in a good location and easy to access. They also have a moving truck to rent for free (under 50 miles). Ralph, the manager was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend. read more

I recently did research on a # of storage facilities in & around the H.Beach to Lake Forest area's & visited the top 3 who advertised they offered the most important features I was personally interested in. Customer support, security, cost & a moving truck. Hands down Ralph & his team which included Lisa won me over. The facility is older, yes, but the attention to details when I took a tour to explain policy & procedures & why they were important in maintaining a clean, safe & friendly environment for each customer was impressive. It is obvious that this facility is run with a high level of experience & personal pride is reflected in every employee's responsibilities. It is refreshing to know people still exsist who work to give the best of themselves so that we recieve the best experience possible. Thanks Ralph & Lisa for your continuous support & the effort made to bring everyone a pleasant experience in a world when moving is very seldom used in the same sentence as "pleasant"! You are both appreciated by many! I'm here for the long haul! Sincerely grateful, Jackyie. G read more

I have used AAA self storage for 7 years. I have never had a problem with this Co. 1. They tend to run $20 to $40 dollars cheaper for comparable units. 2. I really hate bugs! I never had a problem with that here. 3. There was never a problem with transients living in their units or the parking lot. They keep the units clean and easy to access. I have always been treated respectfully by office staff. If I were ever to need storage again, I would call them first. Its rare in my life to not hit some kind of glitch when dealing with any business for a long stretch. I literally never had any issue at all ever with this co. Very easy to work with. read more

Thank you Ralph for making the stress of moving go so smoothly. I had a great moving crew and when we arrived at AAA it just kept getting better. A personal tour on the golf cart, extremely knowledgeable for all my questions I had along the ride lol! I was happy to choose a place that was privately owned rather than a corporate monster and I'm so glad I chose AAA Storage and I hope this helps others to make the same choice I did read more

Very impressed with the level of professional courtesy given by Ralph, the owner. For the security of your property and others, Ralph is very clear about the rules and guidelines for the storage unit complex. He also lives onsite so there's this added incentive if safety of your belongings. On top of everything, AAA self storage offered the best price for a 7x12 unit. The pricing is competitive with other local storage companies, after searching around. This was the most affordable option for me. I highly recommended to anyone. read more

Moving from out of state is very stressful most especially during pandemic most especially when you made a reservation and getting there and no ones there to check you in stuck with the truck full load of stuff. I was hopeless after making calls to different storage places until I found "AAA SELF STORAGE" and Ralph pick up the phone and made my day, not only he was so accommodating but he made sure that we were able to get our storing of our stuff effective. I definitely recommend this space to store your stuff and look for "Ralph". Thank you Ralph for your great customer service. read more

Had to move out of my apartment in a bit of a rush, but when I visited this facility the on-site manager was so kind and helpful, I immediately felt better. He walked me up to the unit, showed me how the lift worked, and provided me with comforting advice. When I arrived (very late) to actually put my items into my storage unit, he was super empathetic and understood that my movers were the cause of my being late. He allowed me to stay and finish loading my storage unit. I've never felt more comfortable leaving my items at a storage unit. 12/10 recommend. read more

If I could give more stars I would!!! I have stored my boat here on two different occasions. The only reason I left was because a spot came up closer to my house about 25 miles south. This is a top notch facility, from my first dealings with Bud and Sharon years ago to now dealing with Ralph, they are all extremely professional. The facility is clean, secure and I definitely don't worry about leaving my boat here at all. Ralph is always out in the yard so there is always that element of someone keeping an eye on your stuff. He is also extremely personable as well, really funny guy. I will continue to highly recommend this facility for anyone that needs storage! A++ read more

We just moved our motorhome here from another storage facility. I had previously checked with this facility and placed my name on their waiting list. Ralph the manager contacted me several weeks later to let me know they had a vacancy in rv parking. The facility is in a nice area and is well maintained. Ralph was very helpful and is a nice guy. I would recommend this place! read more

I would like to mention here how much I appreciate their helpfulness in my move at the end of last month. The gals and guys at AAA did a stellar job in assisting me. There was first, a new employee, can't remember her name "Lisa?" Anyway, she figured out exactly what I needed quickly and put together a plan and a conversation with her superiors to be sure all was right. That's the right way to do it. Be sure that you understand the customer and get what needs to be done well, done. Ralph the manager was great too. He would call and check with me along the way, so he knew and I knew what to expect and forecast. I was five days late getting my move done, and they did everything they could to take care of me. (which they did quite well) A simple "Job Well Done!" Is in order here for all those folks at AAA Storage ! JB read more

AAA Storage, clean and well kept facility. I was in a last minute bind and spoke to Ralph which helped me along the way to get me set up on my storage space. He even went the extra mile, to ensure I would be able to get a storage space. Stand up guy. Super helpful. Rates per month was also reasonable. Great service. read more

Very disappointed by the staff here. Very friendly upfront but not after service begins. Parking situation is... interesting. You get in trouble if you wait in your car for 5 minutes or longer. Storage units don't have lights and are layered with cardboard or cheap wood at the bottom. Would only recommend for storing stuff you will never need. read more

Sharon and Bud provided excellent customer service the day I signed up for the unit and made the process extremely easy! I was shown the space and the lift I'd use to get my stuff to the second story, and then filled out the paperwork. Sharon was so sweet and understanding, and she gave my friend a discount for his referral. She also let me be flexible with my move in date because I wasn't sure exactly how long the drive in a uhaul would take from Sacramento. Thank you so much Sharon and Bud! read more

I have been a tennant at AAA Self Storage-Huntington Beach for many years now. Back in the day when i was first searching for a clean affordable storage facility, i came across AAA. I met Vivian Fay, who ran AAA on a daily basis for many years, extremely successfully, i might add. Sadly to say, Vivian retired, leaving the facility to the TNT Management Company to run. Never in my wildest dreams, could a very content tennant such as myself imagine that they could find On-Site Managers, such as Sharon & Bud Deering to take over the daily management. Not only have they cleaned up the less desirable tennants that some lived at the facility. But cleaned the property up as well. Outstanding, professional & always greeting you with a huge smile hello, and a over flowing candy dish in the office. A huge thank you to Judy who runs the office while Sharon & Bud take time off. A little nostalgia, Judy worked with Vivian for many years, so since Vivian has since passed on, it always feel as if Vivian is always watching over the property. read more

AAA Self Storage - Self Storage Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

Great value and clean place. No comparison price wise compared to public storage. They used to be open until 7:00pm but has been moved to 6:30pm which has caused a few issues, which prevents me from giving a 5 star rating. read more
