Currently have 2 units at this location and rent goes up at least $60 each time and I'm now paying double than what my first initial payment was 2.5 yrs ago. Called customer service and was told they are only able to adjust the payment costs one time during the duration of the unit being rented so expect a rent increase every year which is at least 20%. Thought you could do better than that StorQuest. I thought you were better than the bigger brand competitors. Time to move my belongings with another company. Paying over $400 for one unit space (12 x 14') is too much for this economy. read more

This was an ideal experience for me and we have the staff to thank for that. Chris, our storage manager "the comedian" had a great vibe from the moment we walked in to the moment we stepped out. He had a Great attitude and professional demeanor on point. Showed us what we needed, gave us all our options, everything laid out flat and fairly. With our options in hand and viewing of the immaculate spaces, we decided to go with the larger unit due to the upfront features and reasonable increase for the size and price. Got our First month for an amazing deal. The other worker, Martin was even kind enough to ask us if we needed the restroom first before he mopped it. StorQuest self-storage is very easy to access, clean, well-kept, and well lit. Many storage facilities are dark and often times, the light switches are hard to find. The storage units itself are also very well-secured and intuitive to use. On one late night, we were dropping off some things at our storage unit and we noticed a sketchy pair that followed us through the gate. We asked if they had a code but they had some excuse about their code not working. They also followed us into the storage facility after we were done so I ended up calling StorQuest to see if anyone would pick up. Mind you, it was almost 10pm and well, a rep did pick up! So we notified him of the situation and he said they would handle it. So from a customer experience standpoint, StorQuest has it down. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this facility in the last year or a year and a half. When it first opened it was absolutely amazing. The AC was always pumping (this is critical, especially during the hot summer months) and music was always playing throughout the facility (which was a nice bonus). Somewhere along the way things started trending sharply downward. I rent two units at this facility, totaling about $550 a month. My rent's been raised twice for each unit, roughly 25% per rate hike. I understand it's a business and rent increases happen, but this seems wildly egregious. The reasoning for the rent increases is your general cookie cutter reasons, nothing legitimate other than simply to raise the price. This major issue, combined with the fact that the air conditioning is never on anymore and the fact that every time I try to go to my larger unit, the people who rent the two units next to me are always there clogging up the aisles, makes it really difficult to rate this facility highly anymore. The people who rent the two units are there every time I go because they run a business out of their storage units. Again, I understand they rent the units, but it would be nice facility management could at least ensure they're not walking all of the walking aisles into my storage every time I go. Don't get me wrong, back in 2020 this place was 100% a five star facility, that's simply not the case anymore. Hopefully management sees this review and decides to make some positive changes. I can't imagine why, at the bare minimum, the AC can't be on in the facility during business hours. I can confirm it's definitely on inside the office building, so I believe it's not too much to ask to leave it on in the actual storage facility portion of the building as well. Moving is easy and fun, said no one ever. We are 100% in that majority camp. With that said, Magali from StorQuest-Anaheim/Walnut was the highlight of our entire moving process. I would go out on a limb to say that our experience with finding a new home, and subsequently moving, during a global pandemic was far from conventional. We were moving from DTLA to Anaheim and in the time of Covid, we were glad to make the normally 50-60 minute drive in half the time. Naturally, our luck ran out the weekend of our move when SoCal's economies reopened and it seemed like every car in LA/OC were on the streets and freeways at the same time. Being in bumper-to-bumper traffic usually sucks, but is exacerbated when driving a 15' U-Haul truck. So we crawled to Anaheim, with me frantically on the phone with Magali half an hour before the office closed for us to rent our storage unit. She and I exchanged phone calls 3 times, with her on the other line being ever-so-patient, empathetic of the situation and willing to help the entire time. Although the storage unit was about to close, she was on the phone with her manager to try and accommodate us. Luckily, the manager was also understanding and flexible, and allowed Magali to service us after working hours. Over the phone, she jumpstarted our application process so that all we had to do when we got to the office was pay and sign our lease. We realize that this is absolutely an exception, but in an unprecedented time, we all are experiencing our share of firsts. When we got into the parking lot, I jumped out of the truck and ran into the office, where Magali was waiting for me. She was even more of a sweetheart in person. 10 minutes later, we were starting to load up our storage unit. The storage facility is new, clean and well-maintained, as was our unit. Access to the facility is open until 8PM (for those on the autopay plan), and when the gate closes. Our experience at StorQuest has been exceptional and exceeded our expectations, thanks to Magali! :) read more

Pros: Great facility & extremely clean. I had an issue with getting my hours extended since I was selling some of my items with someone on Craigslist. The buyer was mot sure when her husband could come and we were both pressed for time to leave. There was only an early or night extension to choose from. Luckily, Pati, the representative there, saw the frustration on our faces and gladly gave the extension for both! She helped us out a lot and included it for 2 days as well. Unbeknownst to them though, the code the next morning did not work, fortunately, their phone # worked and after only a few automated questions, I got in contact with a live rep. They assisted me with the error, quickly gave me a new number and the problem was solved! Con...literally a con: Although the service at the actual location and the lady over the phone were great... the system online for choosing a rate is a straight bait & switch. When I initially called and spoke with a sales rep, I was given a "final price" quote of $45. I had made sure that was all it was since I had already priced out other places and the person over the phone confirmed it was. Well long behold, it was not. After taxes&fees it was $90! Literally double! It was the end of the day and I was forced to pay it. Everything else was closed after that and mind you, I was driving a Uhaul rental and I was not gona pay another day. Straight Bull---- ! But whatever you live and you learn. Make sure that when they quote you a "final price" over the phone that they actually added the "taxes & fees"! lol Overall pretty good experience except for the initial. And once again Pati and the lady whom I spoke with over the phone were great and super helpful. read more

My wife and I love our new storage space. The property is clean, temperature controlled, and well managed; basically everything we were looking for in an on site storage facility. Patti, the assistant manager, helped us get set up with our month to month agreement. She thoroughly explained all the ins and outs, and was able to answer all of our questions regarding pricing and fees to transfer to a larger unit later on down the road. StorQuest is close to home and affordable to boot. If you got stuff and no where to put it, my wife and I would certainly recommend renting a unit here. We chose the smallest unit available, @ $55 a month, if I remember correctly. The initial start-up cost, including the price of a new lock, was a little over $100 - not too bad if you ask me. read more

It's a very clean, highly-protected, well-lit facility that I can trust storing my belongings that don't fit in my little apartment. It is in an accessible location to the 5-freeway and residents. I appreciate the straightforward customer service and gave very detailed explanations on how the facility functions that I appreciate. FYI - Their facility is NOT 24 hours and DO NOT have designated trash bins. I prefer those restrictions for safety and sanitary reasons, but everyone is different, so please keep that in mind. This is a friendly, clean place that is well kept and you can feel very safe leaving your belongings her because they have all safety basis covered.
