July 22,2025 Let me start by saying I was at the Orange location on 7/21/25 to move from one storage unit to another after getting notice that my monthly payment was going up, I have only been renting since April 2025. Keira was so nice and helpful, thank you Keira, you get 5 . I will say that everyone that has assisted me in the last 3 months have been very nice and helpful and the facility is always clean, the 3 star rating is for the rent increase in less than 6 months. US Storage should give their customers atleast 6 months to a year before they raise your rent but all these damn businesses and corporations and companies care about is MONEY! The gentlemen working I (think Gary was his name), sry if it's wrong, he was very helpful. Showed me unit before I moved my stuff in. When I signed up in Nov 2023, I was really excited because the facility seemed really well kept up (still is). I like how they have a dolly cart in each section. I read a couple reviews before on how prices jumped only after a few months of renting here but I was like...was it old management? I took the risk anyways...and long behold!!! They charged right after 4 months! If you read all the low revirws...that is the main problem!! Customer service was great and the amount for a 8x10 was amazing. They even offered 50% off two months rent! My rent is $112 but for the first month it was $93 because of first time service fee. Nov $93 Dec $56 Jan 2024 $56 Feb $112 And bam! Then unit got shot up to $175. I moved all my stuff in for only a couple months to pay $175 now?? I could of gotten a unit cheaper and the same size at another place. That would of saved me so much time on not worrying about where to move ALL my stuff. Now they hit me with this bill and I'm like great.... Bamboozled. read more

We had an excellent experience is a U.S storage!!! we start our stuff for almost a year as we are building a home in Maui Hawaii... Juan, the manager, was very responsive, helping us coordinate a shipping container being delivered to the site and are things being loaded up to ship to Hawaii... the storage unit place is kept clean, pest free, and we could always access it when needed to deliver new furniture to our storage unit as needed... our Brea, Orange County home contents were stored there, before shipping to Hawaii. I set something up mid way through the month for 2 months at half off. They did not honor it. They only gave about 5 weeks, almost 6.. charged full price. When I went to get my stuff out to no longer be charged. They didn't allow me to. I didn't have the money to pay. My family's photo album is In there. The only pictures of my mother that passed away. And I'm losing it because JUAN the manager won't work with me. He offered $450. I've been with them since mid march. That's 4 months now. At $115 a month. Plus 2 months half off. It's simple math. 115$ x 3 = 345$ I already paid one month and a start up fee. Totaling 155$ Total owed should be maximum with late fees of 20$. 230$. And I'd be willing to pay that. I called weeks ago. Was told a manager would get back to me and never did. They charged me AGAIN! Juan the manager will lie straight to you. I did not receive 60 days of half off. I received 40. Max. And all these other charges they are adding on. My total now is 570$ HOW IS IT $570! 4 months at 115 is only 460$ plus all late fees. 540$ maximum! Elevators have not been operating in the last several months and my unit is in the third floor. No way to get to the stairway from the inside. No way to open the stairway door from the outside without a person working the front desk which they don't have in weekends or after hours. read more

The units are in excellent condition. There are move-in specials. They offer you free use of a moving van for a day! (50 free miles; pay for your gas and any overage miles). I let Juan, the on-site manager, know I would be downsizing into a smaller unit once the promotional offer ends (two months, half off. ). He will help me make that smooth and easy, so his space can continue to meet my needs. Do not rent from here, initially I was very impressed with this storage center. The rates were great and they had really good reviews. Before I started renting my unit I emailed the property manager to inquire about when I could expect to receive rate increases and how much I could expect them to be. I was told first increase was at 6 months and then yearly from them on. I asked how much I could expect the increase to be, she wasn't able to give me a number for that as she did not determine the number. She did however reassure me that they would be willing to help with increases if we should need it. We began renting the unit on 8/26 and our first increase took effect 2/1 not exactly 6 months but close enough and for a very reasonable $11, we were very pleased. Cut to present day, we have now received our "yearly" increase to take effect July 1, ummmm that is not a year. That is just the first problem. Our increase is for $73!!!! What?! That is an absolutely ridiculous amount to go up. I email management, no response. I call, they can only talk on my behalf to their managers and will let me know what they say. I call them back today, it's going up because they are bringing it to what competitors are charging for the same size unit! I went to you because you have better rates than your competitors! Why should I stay with you now? Because you are holding me hostage with the fact that it's a huge pain in the butt to move all of my stuff out?! And how about them helping me out with the increase like they had promised? Nope, sorry we cannot help at this time. What a shame. I'm taking my stuff out of here. I hope they lose a ton of business from this. They will definitely be losing mine. Scum bags. read more

Check this, you can get in from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day 365 days per year. Entry and exit is very easy. Located at Main and Katella in Orange. About 2 miles from Chapman Univ. Securty is very good. The setting is very safe. Jim who runs the place showed me the unit before I signed any paperwork. They have a store in the office that sells moving supplies at very competitive prices. My advice is to save yourself a lot of problems and drive past all other storage locations and rent from this company. 5 stars. read more

I spoke with Jenny prior to coming so she was expecting me. I walked in and the office was very clean and welcoming so that was a plus. She also wiped down everything after each use which is important during this pandemic. She showed me my storage unit and I was impressed with how well kept it was. They have a key pad upon arrival and leaving so break ins are nearly impossible. They also have unique locks for sale just in case you're like me and forgot to bring one.
