How do you get being a storage facility WRONG? We are a business and are supposed to have 24 hour gate access. My code doesn't work. If someone is not in the office I have to sit at the gate and wait for someone else to drive through so I can get in. The office states we don't know why your code doesn't work and corporate won't send someone out to fix it. WHAT!?!? That is the extent of the "help" we received. Needless to say we will be moving out and disputing all charges since the start of these issues with my CC company. As this has cost me quite a bit of money from the delays read more

I wanted to get a small space for some file boxes, bicycles and some chairs. Lisa Renee was the representative on site at the time. She guided me through a decision process for a space selections and showed me several payment options for a decision. She also showed me the space That was open for me. Lisa made the process and the decision easy to complete. I observed that the site, inside and out was clean and there was no random debris laying about, unlike other places I looked into. Warning stay away from this place. From the outside it looks good and safe. I rented two storage units for the last ten months. Finally moving day came. Opened the storage unit to find all the furniture in the front covered dirt and dust. Was not happy. Then we finally get to the back of the unit only to find a leak in the unit. All our boxes were soaked!!! And they would not give us a discount. Oh and here's the kicker. A majority of our boxes were filled with bugs! Silverfish....etc. I've rented from many different storage facilities in the past and never have I had a bug problem. This place is dirty as hell. I definitely would not recommend this place. I have been at this facility for many years. I never had a problem. I had 24 hour access while I was here. I worked on my motorcycles and no one ever complained. I came in with my dogs in my personnel vehicle (never out of my vehicle) no one ever complained. All the issues that I am being accused of, I was given an ok by the manager. A few days ago when i stopped by the office to use the restroom I said good morning to Lisa ( the manager). She called me over and spoke very harshly to me and said "this is the way I am going to speak to you from now on" I was floored. She said I always had an to confront her with. I called corporate to discuss this issue since I have been giving no warning for anything except once I lit up my cigarette as i was exiting the building. She smelt it. I apologized and it never happened again. To my surprise Mr Rivera the VP was talking to her and did not care about my story at all. I found out from ANOTHER TENANT which the manager told that THE VP was going to have me evicted. Funny thing, another tenant is the one who told me first. I shortly after the VP called me. Hw dug up all the dirt that the manager said was ok. I have been bringing my dogs in here locked in my car for years. This manager was in a bad mood a few months back and approached me and said I could no longer have my dogs in my car. The same dog she was going to adopt from me. And petted him through the window every chance she could. I spoke with another rep from TNT Management a few months ago about my dogs in the car. He said I could have them in my car because what was in my personnel vehicle was not there concern. So no more was said about this issue months later until now. I got set up pretty good. I just got my eviction notice today even when told the VP on the phone yesterday that I would move out on the 31st of Oct. As of now I lost my extended hours which I have had since I have been here. They knew I had my own business and needed access because I even worked on there cars for penny's. Yes the location here on Chapman and the location on Tusin and Taft in Orange. Now I have regular access and am threatened with trespassing. Here is the eviction notice. AFTER I ALREADY TOLD THEM I WAS LEAVING. I will never rent from a My self storage facility again. And why don't they do something about others who work on there cars and motorcycles here. And why don't you address the issues I have complained about in the past, seeing the guys at the end urinating in the bushes after there beer consumption. About the door with the magnets on it securing the inside units from outside. Which I have found unlocked many times after regular hours.. I have had enough. I am out of here for sure. Im paying $200 month for an upstairs med size unit. Price was $100 but was increased after just 1 month. The reason we choose this storage location was because they have a truck you can use 1x free. Came into the storage unit bright and early needed to use the free truck that they sold us on and the manager -red head lady- decided she wasn't comfortable with the situation and said no I can't use it. No one else was using it and she had no reason to suspect any wrong doing. I'm a completely normal 30yr old girl driving a nice car paying a bunch of money for this dumb unit and she says no?! We rented a small storage room during our nine month renovation. We gave our 10 day notice to move out, but when it was time our contractor needed some more time. They were very accommodating and extended our move out date another week. I also rent a larger storage room for product for my business. I am in that storage room at least twice a week. They allowed me to pay the year ahead, which helped me with last year's taxes. Very happy with with this storage facility. read more

I had the displeasure of speaking to the manager LisaRenee today on the phone about why I was being sent a bill when I have automatic payment from day 1. She answered the phone with a huge attitude and once I told her what was going on I simply asked why did this happen. She supposedly pulled up my account information and said she spoke to me and I said to cancel the auto payment. I explained to her that I have not spoken to anyone (on the phone or in person) since I signed the paperwork for the unit months back. She continued to tell me it was me she spoke to and that she verified the card. I said my own boyfriend doesn't have my card information so how did someone else cancel my auto pay. She told me a again it was me. The entire time she had the biggest attitude. She explained 3 times how I can get auto pay again but that was not what I was asking. I wanted to know how someone knew I had a storage unit there and canceled payment on my card. If someone stole my information I would think they would spend the money not save me money. I assume the change happened on the wrong account but the very unpleasant manager didn't even simply say I'm sorry. Instead she continually insisted it was me she spoke to. I didn't suffer any brain injuries recently so I would have remembered canceling a payment after the payment should have already been processed. After I called her out about her foul attitude she blamed it on me and said she had customers and we hung up. I immediately rented a storage unit at another place and will be moving my things out in 2 days. This place is cheap yes, dirty parking lot (behind the gate) yes, minimal access hours yes. Worth the money (until you have to speak to the office) yes. So we are taking our stuff and our money somewhere else because of her unnecessary bad attitude. read more

This storage location was closeby. I needed 2 units and I was able to easily enter and exit using their conveniently accessible keypads. I had to relocate my mom from palm springs which was quite hectic. Our move date overlapped with the previous home owners being able to relocate to their new place, which we didnt know about till 4:55 the same day. Literally after we arrived to move in. This place has been great - We have had a storage space there for 6 months now. The facility is always clean, front desk always friendly and helpful, and our unit is easy to access (even though it is upstairs - the halls are nice and wide). The cost is reasonable, but worth it for the peace of mind of the security of our items. Desiree and co-worker (I apologize, I cannot recall the name), were extremely helpful and polite from the first contact. I came in with information from Craigslist about a half-price special for the first couple months which they gladly applied, no gimmicks, and no bait-and-switch. The front office is immaculately clean as is the restroom, a sign of careful attention-to-detail. The cleanliness applies to the storage units and the facility overall. A nice testament to their high level of customer service occurred the other day when I stopped by the storage unit I rented to drop something off. As I was completing my activities, Desiree came by and greeted me by name, just a friendly hello as she was passing by. Excellent service from some very genuine, nice people. They allow use of a moving truck for first-time move-ins, for free (save for refilling any gasoline you burned), and they allow rental of this truck at very reasonable rates once you rent a storage unit making this a well-rounded storage business. The fact they've got NEW closures on holidays, like Easter? Memorial Day? Labor Day? Come on! That's when we need to get in there due to moving or having a day off to do things. Also, don't like the fact they changed policy and now require US to provide insurance? Way to do business that's good for THEM. Also, one star for raising the rates every year a hefty percentage for what? It's not costing more due to insurance, due to paying employees, nor due to inflation of which there is almost zero for past few years (look it up) again, it works for THEM!
