Fantastic place for eating and ambience. They have interior and exterior seating. We sat indoors upstairs on New Years Eve. They had a live band and lots of games out front. Wait was long due to the holiday, but well worth it. Service was amazing and food was out of this world. Highly recommend this location if you are in the St Augustine area or beaches. read more

We visited twice during our stay this October and had great food and service both times. The lunch was awesome - my husband ranked the French fries top 5 he had ever had! Second visit was for brunch with 6 and the food and service were excellent! Fun place to meet friends or watch a game. Glad they are in SA Beach! read more

It's a shame. Food was on the B+ side. But the bartender was overwhelmed. He had too many tables - along with the bar. Ordered an app with drinks and 2 entrees. Drinks took quite a while to come and a measured pour had to be ¾ ounce. Dinner came out - and had to reorder the app. Ordered a double and could barely see that it covered the bottom of the glass. Asked again for the app - finished dinner. Now had enough- asked for check - 20 to Ed minutes - waiting for manager to write off on coupon. What a shame on service. Food was.pretty good read more

We went here because it was the #2 seafood restaurant on Yelp in the area. First off I don't mind waiting if the place is packed and the food is good. We had a hour and 15 min wait on a 1/3 filled restaurant. The drinks were good from the bar. Dragonfruit margarita was good. We had the onion rings and gator bites for appetizers and they were ok but oily. We then waited for 50 min for fried seafood items. I choose the fish and chips that was a red crab selected item which is suppose to be one of their best dishes. It was over cooked, oily, with zero seasoning. Crabby's Beachside food hits different. The seafood is fresh, the fries are crisp, and you've got the ocean right there in front of you. Like, who wouldn't want that combo? For a meal after traveling 15 hours it was sufficient. For a party of 8 we were seated quickly. Nice upper patio, the appetizers ordered all tasted like the oil they were fried in (conch fritters & alligator tale) The New England style clam chowder was hot and thick, it seemed to have some other type of fish (filler) versus just clams-it was tasty but different. Was served drinks and asked waitress to get us another round in a few minutes, but she never came back until she wanted us to pay, which we were ready to do since it had been over an hour. We have had two meals in the last week at Crabby's and both were excellent. Dinner on Saturday night we had exceptional service by Christian. She was fantastic, attentive, and had great recommendations! The grouper and shrimp combo was delish! Also try the shrimp and grits-delicious!!!!! Breakfast this morning was also wonderful! The French toast made with Cuban bread was really good, and served with fresh fruit. We also had the crab cake Benedict with burre blac sauce, awesome! Berry açaí smoothie was delish and refreshing! And don't skip the banana bread colada for an boozy brunch special! One of our faves on the beach, a must try for both breakfast and dinner!!!!! read more

There were four of us for lunch. The service was extremely slow. I ordered the Mahi blackened sandwich. It was the worst food ever and not edible. It even had an horrible stench that would not wash off my hands from when I picked it up. I would have sent it back but by the time waitstaff finally showed back up everyone was through eating. My partner ordered fried shrimp and she said hers was good. read more

Nice restaurant - large enough to easily go in for a sit down meal (something I found tricky to figure out since we were on vacation.) Food was very good, especially loved the fried shrimp and crab cakes. All of the wait staff were absolutely lovely and our waitress stopped by regularly to check in on us. So my family and I went there for breakfast. The sign said Breakfast was severed from 8am to 11:30. We arrived were seated at 11:20. They weren't busy at all and the staff were RUDE and refused to serve us breakfast.needless to say we wont be going back and don't recommend going there if you want to eat. We just stopped in for a quick drink at noon after having a late breakfast. Beer was nice and cold. Our server Kayla was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and after listening to her we decided to try the in-house hand made crab patty. It was one of the best we have had! Not over done with fillers or smothered with a heavy breading. The crab was sweet and the seasoning spot on. The light sear on the outside was perfect. Honestly, I thought this was just okay. Sat upstairs outside and to say it was hot was to understate it. The only table was by the false pitched roof entrance and the heat radiated off the shingles like an asphalt parking lot. Small umbrellas scattered about didn't do much to beat the heat. The name was misleading, too! "Beachside" ...about like a block away! The image on google maps made it seem like only sand and A1A separated them and the ocean. But it's the public parking lot and fire department you see and hear and not the waves and sounds of nature. Next time I want outside rooftop dining with a breeze and good food, I'll go back to Tortugas in Flagler Beach! read more

Awful service. Our waiter knew nothing about the food or drink menu. We asked him about the oysters and he told us about the clams. Our oysters were not shucked correctly. Sandy and no juice. The royal red shrimp were delicious. They advertised live music (we even double checked the date and time) but when asked nobody knew about why it wasn't happening.
