This is a great place with excellent service and good food. Our server, Annika, was gracious and helpful. On her recomendation, we had the crab dip as an appetizer and it was really good. Our entree was the hogfish snapper and it was fantastic. To wrap things up we had the key lime pie which is one of the best I've had outside the keys. I now have another favorite restaurant in St. Augustine. The location is great, right in the heart of all the beach activity. A rare view of the ocean from the upstairs deck . Beautiful. Our waitress was quick and friendly plus the manager stopped at our table to make sure we were happy ( we were). I highly recommend the drink Lime In The Coconut. For an appetizer we tried the artichoke and cheddar dip ( superb). For entrees we had crab legs and various seafood dishes. We had a great time! read more

Just had a great dinner at Crabby's. Food was tasty and presented well, but not flashy. No pretense and great atmosphere looking out at the beach on a beautiful night. Our server, Hallie was attentive and friendly yet not intrusive. Would be 5 stars, but whatever IPA is usually on tap and the grouper were both 86'd. Those are exactly what I would have ordered. We recently found Crabby's Beachside Restaurant in St Augustine and it was delious. Best Nachos ever! But our waiter Dakota was amazing. First we would like to thank him for his service to our Country. He gave so much for us to have our freedom. The Wounded Soldiers Foundation saved his life after returning home. Our biggest issue with our dinner here was that service was very slow. It took a long time for even drinks and appetizers to come, despite the restaurant not seeming to be very full. Perhaps they are understaffed back in the kitchen? Once the food did arrive, it was a mixed bag. Some of it was cold, which makes me further think that they were struggling to get everything up at once because of a staffing issue or something. Overall, it didn't seem like it was their best night, but I'd be willing to come back and try again. Some of the food items were pretty good! read more

After a previous good experience in Crabby's, we were disappointed because the clams were tiny, rubber, pencil erasers, and the oysters were gritty and shriveled up, not too much bigger than my thumbnail.. There only 11 on my plate, the server brought the 12th one and it was a joke, not much bigger than my little finger nail. The servers were quite busy, but that was no excuse for their surly attitude. We are not big eaters, but we came home to have good cheese and wine. We ate at the downstairs bar. read more

We went to crabby's for lunch and I had the best piña colada I've ever had. The bartender Stephanie was amazing. I you are ever in the area you have to go there and order a piña colada lol. It's good and has two great bars and location by the pier. Service was fantastic. I only gave 4 stars because there are just so many other locally owned, non chains, on St Augustine Beach that are better or the same and less expensive. We had the crab and spinach dip (the only part of the meal that disappointed) a grouper fried fish sandwich, and a dozen raw oysters. All were good, but not $60 before tax and tip good with 2 waters and no booze. We live on the island so we will try it again. read more

Our group (18 top) was serviced by a very kind and welcoming server named Joseph. He was very attentive to our group's requests and questions. The food was great and served in a timely fashion. The food was great! Our waitress seemed new:), we never received the appetizer we ordered (she did say she put it in though!), a d the wait seemed excessive. I had the Broiled Grouper and Fried Shrimp with cheese grits and salad. It was excellent! We also ordered the Island Mahi and Shrimp Alfredo. The place was clean and we really. enjoyed it. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Our waiter was friendly (Greg), and had a great personality. Wasn't busy but I sat for 15 minutes at a table ignored by every employee who kept walking past me and finally had to ask a server passing by if I could have a menu to look at. Service was decent after that. Stuffed mushroom appetizer said it had crab in it and there was not one spec; was spinach and cheese/sauce only. The grilled shrimp dinner was good and not overcooked, the side salad was fresh, but the side veggies were not cooked enough and were super crunchy. I saw some fried shrimp a lady at the table near me ordered and it looked almost burnt. I might give this place another chance in the future, but I'm not rushing to bring my friends or family there. read more

We have been here a couple times before for breakfast and for lunch. Our original server was Kayla who was a pain from the beginning. We waited over 40 minutes for our appetizer and food. Finally we asked about it because a table that sat 20 minutes after us got their appetizers. Kayla had extreme attitude when we asked and so we asked to cancel our order completely and she turned around and in a passive aggressive manner said "well aren't yall pleasant". We then asked to speak to the manager. Jenny (the manager) was extremely nice and helpful. She offered to comp our food and get us another round of drinks. She changed our server to Dakoda who was AMAZING! He is an Army veteran and we got to talking as a fellow veteran. He brought our food out fast and apologized that it was sitting under the heat lamp for a good while. I would HIGHLY recommend asking for Dakoda as your server if you decide to eat here and stay FAR away from Kayla!! read more
