Was a little skeptical because it's a chain, at the beach, and these places tend to underwhelm. Not Crabby's! Great service & portions. Loved the mahi with red shrimp. Perfectly cooked. Came with two sides, I got slaw & fries which were both tasty. Only complaint is I believe the plate was supposed to come with two conch fritters but didn't receive them. Was so into the food I didn't notice until I was too full to care. My dining companion enjoyed her boom boom shrimp tacos. A very pleasant experience overall and would dine here again. Thanks!

Came for dinner and sat on the upstairs patio area, it did take a while for us to be greeted/brought waters after being seated. My friend and I enjoyed our salads, great portions and nice and fresh. However my other friend didn't like the grouper tacos. Overall it was a nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating and live music at night; at least the Tuesday evening we went, but overall a decent place

Loved this restaurant's vibe and the service was spectacular! We enjoyed the Onion Rings; you can get them FREE thru the Coupon Book. Glad we did, they are THE BEST Onion Rings!! They come out Hot, with a perfect Crunch to onion bite. We were in a hurry and shared a burger with those onion rings. The burger perfectly cooked & presented as a shared item.

We had lunch today in the patio. Very beach-bar vibe with indoor seating, and outdoor seating out front or on the second floor. I imagine you can see the beach from upstairs. I had a bucket Dragon Fruit Margarita. It was tasty, and a good value for $10! We shared the shrimp nachos and the grouper tacos with Gouda grits. The Gouda grits were excellent. The grouper tacos were good, but the market price of the day was a bit high. Still, good eats and cooked perfectly. The nachos weren't that great. The shrimp did not have much taste, the beans and other things on the chips were sort of dry and the 'cheese' didn't taste at all like cheese. It was not finished. Our server was very friendly, but items were pretty slow getting to the table. In all, a fun, beachy place to eat. Apparently they have live music. We were dining outside on a weekday.

Clam chowder, you have to get it & see why it's famous! So good!

SERVICE: Our waitress was very nice & quick. Our drinks were brought out right away & were delicious! We both enjoyed my clam chowder ( bowl) & then my salad came. I was a little disappointed that there were a few badly wilted lettuce leaves, but it was mostly good. Our dinners came out hot & fresh mine was the stuffed shrimp, it was very good, very flavorful! My husband had the coconut shrimp, I'm not a big fan but had a sample. It was pretty good. We were both too full to have dessert.they do breakfast also!! The inside of this restaurant looks laid back, either date night ready or jeans & a tee attire. It could go either way.

We really wanted to like this place more. The look, the music, the location & the vibe were nice. Service was pretty good & fast paced. Unfortunately Most of our food was not up to par or worth the money. The coconut shrimp was basic but the dipping sauce really made it better. The Mac & cheese came out refrigerator cold & The onions straws (rings) were pretty cold as well. The fries were pretty good & hot. The blackened chicken with the pasta was good & flavorful. Definitely the best dish of the table. I really just recommend this place for the vibe & getting something light to share or I did see they had a few good breakfast time reviews.

Ended up coming to Crabby's after a long day of athletic competition. Tired and hungry and in need of a beer(s) (uhhh and tequila shot). Walked upstairs and sat ourselves at the bar. The bartender (Mike) was the host that every worn out and weary group could ever hope for. He's personable, funny, kind, and quick to take care of you. We got some beers... can't remember the name of the beer but it was Crabby's own IPA. Legit great and we ended up actually tapping it out. Calamari and conch are really well made. It's not next level but it's fried apps so what would you expect? One of us got crab and we shared it a bit. Excellent excellent. And the grits are good. Overall, the next time we are nearby, Crabbys will be at the very top of our list for this kind of beach bar style restaurant. And we will be looking to see if Mikes behind the bar.

As others have noted, it's not technically on the beach but it's beach adjacent and it was convenient to walk to from our hotel. We went for a late lunch/early dinner so the crowd was thin (just like we like it). I ordered the Shrimp & Grits with a House Salad and my husband ordered the Fish & Chips with mac & cheese. Salad was good, just a standard house salad, but I did immediately remove the red onion strips on top (too strong for my taste). Shrimp & Grits were great and I appreciated their use of baby shrimp in the grits instead of just placing 5 large shrimp on top. My husband, on the other hand, did not care for his Fish & Chips, but he said it was on him: the menu plainly says the fish is beer battered, which he doesn't like, but he said it didn't register with him until he tasted it. He said, "the service and quality of food was really good - it's not their fault I'm picky." Oh, but he also had a Florida Sunset drink and he said that was very good! Our server was great, really fast and friendly. And by the time we finished. It started filling up, so you can tell it's a popular place. We'd go back, but he might get something other than beer battered fish.

We came here for dinner on Sunday night. For being a weekend day, it wasn't crowded at all and they even had live music. The vibe was casual and low-key. We tried the clam chowder, the Alaskan crab roll, and Crabby's baked oysters. Everything was very tasty and they really stuff that crab roll! We also got lucky because the kitchen got our order of baked oysters wrong, so we ended up with what we ordered plus oysters crabafella. The servers were apologetic about the extra wait time for Crabby's baked oysters and brought out the oysters crabafella at no charge. Both were delicious; however, I liked Crabby's baked oysters more. Overall, a very good experience.

This is a good seafood restaurant in St. Augustine that is similar to Joe's Crab Shack. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a view of the beach as you would think it would by the name. Outside the front door, you can play jenga or corn hole. After checking in the front, there's a cute little shop where you can get T-shirts. They have lots to offer on the drink menu. I saw a review that they have the best calamari in the world which I wouldn't say was the case, but it's decent. It only includes the body (no tentacles which is my favorite part) but it was perfectly cooked with a good batter and also includes fried jalapeños which was a great addition. The sauce was a remoulade type sauce (I prefer marinara with my calamari) that wasn't too bad. I got the house salad with shrimp. Their lettuce was really fresh and overall great salad. The shrimp had too much bay seasoning on it in my opinion. My husband ordered the fish and chips which I thought was delicious! The batter on it was super crispy and full of flavor. He thought the tartar sauce had too much dill and not enough pickles. Overall, we felt all the sauces like tartar and ranch tasted too watered down. They had great options for the kids. We had dinner here this past Thursday and it was great! There's indoor and outdoor seating available and the restaurant has its own lot for parking. If you really liked your meal - they also have several shirts and hats for purchase near the host stand for a souvenir. We walked in and were quickly seated. Service was good and everything was clean. We started with an order of the Calamari and crab spinach dip. Both were delicious. They didn't stand a chance with our group and were quickly devoured. Three of us got the Seafood Feast boil and then one went with the shrimp trio. The seafood feast boil was MASSIVE and included crab legs, shrimp, sausage and corn. It also comes with a side. It was so good. Definitely choose your attire carefully if you go with the boils, because they're messy, haha. The shrimp trio was really good as well. The shrimp all in all was just super fresh tasting. At the end of our meal, I feel like it took a moment to get our check. But other than that, everything was pretty solid.

I really enjoyed my dish , you can tell it has chicken Alfredo with some sausage in it. Which was bust. The service was great, not too busy for 2:30. But our sever was always around refilling and checking in. The vibe was very high , music rolling , the reason I can't call it perfect because the people at my table had a lesser experience than I did. Also the water tastes bad. Like very bad.

Everything we ordered was excellent, the service was great, and the location was right across from the beach. The clam chowder had a smoky bacon flavor. The clams were delicious, and pieces of potatoes made it hearty and tasty. The lobster bites and calamari were fresh and lightly battered and delicious. We enjoyed dipping everything in the garlic sauce they had on the table. The lobster, crab, and salmon were all cooked perfectly. Would definitely return! read more

The absolute worst service I've had in Saint Augustine. Hostess didn't say a single word to us. Ran by kids. 45+ minutes to wait on food. Chicken tenders pink, "Cod" (fish and chips) looked like mozzarella sticks, no flavor. Everything tasted like it was once frozen. Stopped at Crabby's Beachside for lunch. Sat upstairs since it was a nice day. I ordered just appetizers which were the baked oysters 3 ways, conch fritters, grouper bites and hush puppies. My wife had the grouper tacos. All the food was good. The conch fritters and the oysters were really good. Our waitress Diane was very hospitable , kept our water glasses filled and make some great suggestions. We will go back. read more

I was greeted by Catherine. She had a great smile. I ask her where to order to go and she said right here. She helped me with the menu and answered a few questions for me. Recommend several things including the clam chowder- it was amazing. She said I could hang out at the bar while they got the food. I was taking it to go to the each for my wife and I to eat down by the water. Worked great. While at the bar Courtney served me up a Pepsi and we had a nice chat. She was great and very helpful too. Courtney brought out the food and off i went. Everything I needed was in the bag and I didn't have to ask, even a wet wipe! Great grouper and shrimp combo with creamed corn and slaw for the sides. My wife and I went and had some good food and I really enjoyed the oysters and the artichoke spinach dip. The service was great. The reason we chose was because they were advertising 10% off for locals. We live in the Hammock/Marine land area about 17 miles south on A1A. And were denied the 10% discount that was advertised for locals because they said we were too far. We consistently eat in Saint Augustine Beach and go as far as Flagler Beach. I hate to say it, but I don't think I will be back for something as petty as that. We go up to that area at least twice a week and always tip very well and our loyal. I don't know who the manager was because we never spoke to them, but I think that was a big mistake to get a repeat customer. read more

We ordered the Mahi Mahi with a side salad and cheese grits, and the fire roasted crab legs with a side salad and mashed potatoes. The food was beyond amazing! The fish was fresh and delicious while the grits were perfectly seasoned and cheesey. The crab absolutely melted in the mouth with a great seasoning on it. Our waiter (Michael) was attentive and quick with refills and offered suggestions when asked. My only knock on the place was the spinach artichoke dip was not very appealing to either of us. It's the first time I have ever seen cheddar cheese used in the dip, but I didn't subtract a star because the manager quickly took it off the bill when she found out we were not fans of the dip. read more

We had an amazing lunch experience at Crabby's beachside. We were traveling from Georgia back home to Broward county Florida and stopped for a beachside lunch. We were with our to dogs and the staff was wonderful. As soon as we got to our table someone from the staff came out with two bowls of ice water for the dogs. Skip the sunset and visit Crabby's Beachside. Start with a full order of hot Royal Reds. Hogfish Imperial is excellent. Have it with the best grits in town. Shane, Lexie, and Carole were great hosts all week long and manager Mike greeted us like family each day. That's right! We ate either lunch or dinner here all week. If it's early in the day, The Angry Mary will get you going! At the end of the day, have the peanut butter pie. The bar staff were the best part. They treated us like family all week. read more

After a walk on the beach, decided on lunch at Crabby's. The top shelf margarita made skinny is terrible, basically watered down lime juice. Definitely NO floater on it and couldn't taste any tequila, drink number two was just a Tito's and soda - comes in a small plastic cup and again no taste of any alcohol. The calamari were tender and I loved the dipping sauce but they were not crispy, needed another minute to color up and crisp. The Panama Hattie's replacement is going to be a hit! They're having their soft opening now, and the service at the upstairs bar was excellent. The New Orleans Grilled Oysters were delicious! They do have happy hour deals -- draft beer, house wine and well drinks are a dollar off from 3-6pm. Our house wines were $5 each. read more

Absolutely loved this piece. Random day trip to the beach and I was in the mood for oysters, Although I had my mind made up about where to go this place caught my attention while walking to the beach from my hotel. I took a quick glimpse at the menu and read reviews on Yelp, then made my decision to stop in and give it a try. We ordered calamari 10/10 it's was delicious. I had the oysters 3 ways and they were great,asked for them to be well done and they did just that only downside was they didn't bring them right out because the cheese had gotten hard.Cajun chicken pasta was good needed seasoning and a tad more sauce and it would have been perfect. I also ordered 3/4 of snow crab roasted and the spicy garlic butter was really good. Coleslaw was fresh and tasty. Mixed vegetables were also good. I chose the Florida Sunset for my cocktail and also got the cutest souvenir cup. Overall I enjoyed the food and service. Staff was great. We sat upstairs and it has a great view of the ocean. First time here. (Myself, daughter, her friend and granddaughter) Memorial Weekend. Therefore, the wait was about an hour. The outdoor music (2 man band) was great and played great music. Ordered the Hog Fish snapper..really good. The teens ate Calamari Cesar Salad. They said very good. And now for the best part..... Our waitress Brook (without an "E") The sweet red head that greeted us at our table with a huge smile and amazing personality! She knew the menu well and answered any questions we had again, with a great big smile! Please, please do not go to this restaurant for dinner! You are going to get overcharged and the food is going to be substandard! I was raised here and I know good seafood! Their food is bought off Sysco and it's the cheapest food they can buy!! Trust me, you will be disjusted with the food then Totally upset over the bill! Go to Sunset Grill or Schooner's. read more

Good food and reasonably priced. Service is VERY poor. They actually handed us menus and told us to find a seat. Slow, slow, slow. Nice atmosphere with seating both inside and out. Local entertainment almost every night starting at 6. Some weekends it starts at 3pm. Clearly need some management/owner involvement to improve service and set some customer service expectations with the staff. Recommend the Alaskan Crab Roll--excellent. As long as you set your speed and service expectations accordingly, you'll enjoy it. read more

Absolutely awesome atmosphere for family Or adult night out! We took our 11 month old around 4 pm on a Sunday and it was great service, the best food ( highly Recommend the fire grilled old bay crab). There's a lot of seating upstairs and downstairs- and make sure you order one of their mixed frozen drinks . Needles to say, we'll be back! read more

Our server, Joseph, was fantastic. I love that you can order your kids strawberry smoothies for only 2.99. It's a really fun way to enjoy a fun time with the kids. Imperial hog fish was amazing. Mr daughter lived the Buffalo chicken sandwich. My husband appreciated that the fish and chips were fresh and NOT GREASY. And... the avocado eggrolls are delightful. The service today was amazing. My wife and I enjoyed our usual favorite meals we get when we visit. She of course had the Lobster roll sandwich and I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I always order a side of coleslaw and fries. I top the Buffalo chicken sandwich with the Coleslaw to take a little of the heat away and add to the flavor. Their seasoned fries are delicious. Today we both enjoyed a free beer thanks to the Coglietta Family and Crabby Beachside. As two retired disabled veterans on a budget the donated beer and military discount helps us enjoy a little splurge out once in a while. We enjoyed our beer listening to good live music and looking over at the pier and ocean. read more

Oh and the fact that their coffee machine was broken. Major bummer. No fun coffee drinks for us today. We ordered dessert. And in my opinion the key lime pie was my favorite. But it's also my favorite dessert and it's hard to mess up a key lime pie. The flan was good also and the they had a special churros dessert with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. I love a good key lime pie though and it was a fresh and creamy. Overall a good meal and experience. I would like to come back on another day when they aren't so busy.

BAD: We were the only table in the section our waitress had, so we didnt see much of her for additional drinks. Not her fault. Fried calamari were overcooked. The spicy Thai sauce didn't go with the fried spinach and sprinkled parmesan on the calamari,; it should have been paired with the conch fritters. The fried grouper was cooked perfectly, but the vaniila rum sauce didn't go with the fish. Also, there was no wasabi to be found in the dish to offset the vanilla rum sauce. UGLY: no ugly here. I would come back to have drinks, terrific setting.

One of our favorite things to do in every new city is seek out the local favorites and discover our own go to restaurants. This time, we decided to give St. Augustine Fish Camp a try. Right away, we were impressed. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the waterfront views made for a great dining experience. We ordered the clam chowder, Spicy Seafood Linguini, and Shrimp & Grits. Unfortunately, I'd love to be able to rave about the food, but shortly after we finished eating, I became sick and dealt with an upset stomach for the rest of the night. My fiancé also didn't feel well afterward, although her symptoms were much milder. This was the first and only meal we'd eaten since earlier that afternoon, so we suspect it may have been related to something we ate, though we can't say that with absolute certainty. That said, one bad experience doesn't define a restaurant. The service and atmosphere were both excellent, and it's clear from the many positive reviews that plenty of people have had great meals here. We'll give St. Augustine Fish Camp another chance before we leave town, but next time we'll probably order different menu items. Thanks for reading, we hope our experience is helpful!

Grits were off the chart, and we had a few picky eaters who said they were the best they have ever had! Bacon was thick cut on the breakfast sandwich, which they loved. Sunday they had a biscuits and gravy with local sausage, that was hands down the best I have ever had. They have a great wine selection and other things to purchase like local art. We ended up buying two bottles of their orange wine, which was delicious! Everyone working was so kind and cool. Wasn't too loud inside and the vibes fit perfect for the location. If I lived closer this is def a breakfast and coffee spot I would frequent!

The prices have increased over the years (what hasn't?), but the service here is as amazing as always. All the workers here are friendly, happy, and so helpful. They've even brought out dog bowls for Mango. I know MSBC is a chain, but something about this location in St. Augustine stands out to me in particular. I highly recommend.

We were awe-struck by this place. We came in completely by chance just because it was close to where we parked. We were seated immediately, and our server Joseph greeted us within just a minute or two, but we could see him busy with a large group at another table, so it was no trouble. He greeted us with the sunniest disposition and brightest smile. He was training a new server Shain, who was rad and funny and did a fantastic job for only his third shift! They brought all our food out hot, kept us smiling the whole visit, and truly made it a great experience. The manager came and checked on us twice, too, and we couldn't have complained if we wanted to! Every bite that graced our palettes was a sensory experience like no other. We finished with the key lime pie which was, without doubt, the best slice of pie I have ever eaten in my life. I can't even compare it to another, I have never seen its equal. I wholeheartedly recommend Crabby's Beachside, and can't wait to come back to St. Augustine and have it again! read more

We went to have lunch yesterday and sat upstairs outside on the deck since it was a beautiful sunny day. My friend had the sirloin burger with fries and I had the lobster roll with fries. They were both delicious and well worth the money. She had a draft beer which she said was ice cold and I tried one of their specialty mango frozen drinks with a floater and it was perfect for that day. Our waitress was Brooke and she could not have provided any better service. We both highly recommend trying this restaurant. If I had one negative to say it would be that there were several items on the menu and Specialty menus that did not have pricing and I do not like that. I understand if something is market price but there were several items that had nothing and that's a turn off for me.. all in all we are excited to go back because there were several other things that we were wanting to try on the menu and felt that they were very well priced for the portion and the atmosphere of the restaurant. read more

I understand this is a chain restaurant located in Florida but it seems more like a Mom and Pop place. The food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful! We went here on 2 separate nights. The first night our server's name was Lilly, who later was cut for the night and she was relieved by 2 other young ladies. The second night we sat at the bar and just had drinks. Our bartender was named Gage. All those that took care of us were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's staying in the St. Augustine beach area! read more

Tonight my fiancé and I are visiting from out of town, we showed up when they were super busy and you could tell the staff was working very hard. Our server was Kiya and she was an absolute doll. She was very sweet and accommodating to us, which was greatly appreciated. The food was also amazing, very thing was seasoned, cooked well, and tasted fresh. We also had the peanut butter pie for dessert and it was delightful. I will definitely be coming back here next time we're in town. read more

1st time there...definitely not the last. Our waiter Joseph was great. The meals were delayed, but Joseph kept coming back to make sure we were okay. I had the scallops, I asked for a rice substitute, it was not an issue. Perfect portions. Very clean, several options for seating. I felt like the atmosphere doesn't quite fit the beachside vibe. Went in with the family the whole vibe was pleasant. Our bartender was Patricia big smile and very knowledgeable about the menu. They have a bunch of seafood boils that are delicious. We tried the the crab and shrimp also the Seafood feast. Both were AMAZING! My mother in law got the stuffed shrimp which were divine. Food was exceptional. From North Carolina a few hrs from the coast and we have some good seafood but this is the best I've had in awhile. Server Shain was exceptional behind the bar. Knows how to make good cocktail after long hot day at work and has wonderful personality. I'll definitely be visiting when I'm back in the area. Crabby's Beachside Grill is fantastic! The grilled oysters were cooked to perfection, and the shrimp was seasoned beautifully. Even the soup and sandwiches were delicious. The service was both friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. Plus, you can't beat the live music, cold beer, and the fact that they're open late on Sunday nights right on the main highway. A must-visit! read more
