The quality of the food has been consistent and delicious every time we visit. The staff could be a little more attentive but seems to be expected now days. We were traveling down to Orlando and decided to take a detour through St Augustine on A1A to look for a nice lunch spot. We stopped in at Crabby's which is directly across from the public beach parking. Crabby's has both indoor and outdoor seating and has a bar in both the first and second floor. We elected to sit outside on the upper balcony. We shared an appetizer of hush puppies (half order has 6) and then shared the Mayport Shrimp Boil. The hush puppies come with honey but I like the tarter sauce. The shrimp boil had plenty of shrimp to share and came with a large sausage link and 2 ears of corn. The sauce was delicious! I would have loved some potatoes like a traditional low country boil but this dish doesn't come with potatoes. Our server was super and really kept our glasses full as it was hot outside during our visit. I look forward to trying some other dishes on a future visit to Crabby's. read more

The fried shrimp was really good, but the coconut shrimp left something to be desired. The staff was friendly and attentive, although it took them a while to notice we were there lol, but other than that - very nice and helpful. This place is really good! We went on Saturday night and called ahead for 11 people. We got there a had to wait about 30 minutes (which was expected for a Saturday night). We had excellent service and the food quality was exceptional. I had the salmon with broccoli and cheese grits and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back and certainly gives us another option at the beach. read more

Our meals were the Key West Mahi & shrimp combo and the mango Mahi. Both were very good but honestly, it was the customer service and friendliness of the hostess who sat us and our waitress Lindsey who made it a 5 star review. Would've enjoyed having some live music. My wife and I went and had some good food and I really enjoyed the oysters and the artichoke spinach dip. The service was great. The reason we chose was because they were advertising 10% off for locals. We live in the Hammock/Marine land area about 17 miles south on A1A. And were denied the 10% discount that was advertised for locals because they said we were too far. We consistently eat in Saint Augustine Beach and go as far as Flagler Beach. I hate to say it, but I don't think I will be back for something as petty as that. We go up to that area at least twice a week and always tip very well and our loyal. I don't know who the manager was because we never spoke to them, but I think that was a big mistake to get a repeat customer. read more

Bigger issue is my wife and I ate different things at 12:30pm and came home and both of us got cramps and diarrhea from the food. I do not know what happened because I really liked this place. At first we were going to go to another beachside eatery but the parking was a zero of 10. We decided to try this Crabby's location. The parking was plentiful and stress free. We had the good fortune of being seated with the best server in St. Augustine, Cholette. Our daughter was disappointed to find out that chocolate milkshakes were not a menu item, but Cholette and Carol found a work around to make her happy with what our youngest called the best milkshake ever. There is a slight view of the ocean. The inside is clean and relaxed. There are two bar areas and restrooms located both upstairs and downstairs. We discovered they serve breakfast also! And Cholette is working breakfast! The price for 3 entrees, appetizer, specialty drink, and draft beers was around $80 which is a fairly good deal. Over all happy with our visit and will return soon. Oh and if we take our receipt to breakfast we can get 15% off. read more

This place is overall very decent! The food was good in my opinion just the Mac and cheese was the lowest quality food I had in my meal. The sweet tea they have there is TOP TIER and absolutely fire the service is was good and checked in us often. The location of the place was calm for a Tuesday and there wasn't many people around. We had an amazing lunch experience at Crabby's beachside. We were traveling from Georgia back home to Broward county Florida and stopped for a beachside lunch.
