House made from scratch Sourdough. English Muffins! Several years ago I chose the LeMeridien hotel in downtown Denver for my annual Fall trip. While using this App to look for best breakfast places, I was pleased to discover that Corrine's, in the hotel I was staying in, had top ratings. While I can't remember the name of the gentleman who served me then, I've always made it a point to come back to Corrine's, even if I'm staying in a different hotel. The food is always amazing, and the service is impeccable. My Servers this trip were CJ & Julie. The breakfast, as always, amazing and cooked to perfection. My hats off to the manager of this restaurant. You train your staff well, and it shows. Corrine's will always be my go to breakfast restaurant anytime I am in downtown Denver. Overall, a really good experience and I would absolutely return! We booked via OpenTable for Easter brunch. When we booked, OpenTable asked if we wanted to do the Easter brunch buffet or the regular menu. We booked the regular menu. Fast forward to Easter day, we are sat at a table and the brunch buffet menu is on the table. We explained our situation and our server didn't miss a beat, said she'd check with her manager. Manager comes over, explains the regular menu isn't available and the issue would have been worth Open Table. This was a frustrating situation, but she was very kind. My mom doesn't eat much and my dad was more in the mood for the regular menu items. The manager (I'm SO SORRY not to have gotten her name) allowed us to reach a reasonable agreement and checked in on us during our meal to ensure we were happy despite this unexpected turn. The food was good, though not sure it was worth the buffet price and I'm certain the regular food is superior - being served fresh and as the chef intended. The mimosas were from a tap, and I admittedly didn't have high hopes when seeing the glasses being filled, but they were strong and delicious! My dad enjoyed his old fashioned, as well. Beautiful spot located in the downtown nightlife with plenty of street meter parking on a weekday. Ambience is dark but moody and romantic. We had a mini candlelit setting. Our server was amazingly sweet and personable and made our experience even better. The food had our eyes rolling to the back of our heads. Drinks - I tried their daiquiri and it kinda got me drunk. Boyfriend got a strawberry mint cocktail that was yummy and didn't even taste like alcohol. Starter- We saw a lot of reviews on the buffalo cauliflower and wanted to try. It was the highlight of our meal. I kept forgetting it wasn't chicken because the texture and flavoring was perfect. I like that the buffalo sauce was coated and not overly creamy or runny. The ranch dressing is important!!! And I was thankful for how they sliced the celery sticks to make it more convenient and yummy to eat. I'm picky with how I have my celery cause of the fibers. Mains - I got the miso halibut cause I wanted something light. LOVE all the mushrooms, bok choy, and mini onions that complimented the sauce. Nothing was overly dominating in flavor so it made the components enjoyable. I was with a group ordering off a set menu. I chose the steak frites, medium rare. The steak came out medium well and the frites were served well after they were prepared. So they were cold. After one bite of the steak I sent it back and just said I would go with the salad with chicken. The salad was underdressed and the chicken was very dry. Not a good meal. Th staff was apologetic. We came to Corrine for the 1st to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations for 5:00pm and arrived 10minutes early. We checked in and were told they were still setting up the dining room for dinner and we were welcome to wait in the bar. We ordered a drink and waited, I noticed the dining opening assuming we would be called since we had already checked in. I was wrong, several other patrons were seated before I finally walked up and reminded them we had already checked in, that's when I found out they hadn't really checked us in since it was before 5pm ! We were seated and our server arrived immediately and asked us if we had dined with them before and we told her it was our 1st time. She asked if we had any questions and we placed our order. Our server immediately brought us water and frequently checked on us while we waited for our meal. That was where it wasn't the best experience it took forever for the appetizer and even longer for our outstanding meal. We then made the mistake of ordering dessert that took an additional 20 minutes to receive. Sad thing is the food is amazing but the actual food preparation was extremely slow which is odd considering how many people were actually working in the kitchen! We had a perfect view of the kitchen and only a couple of people were working at a normal pace with everyone else working in what looked like slow motion. Our wonderful server went into the kitchen several times not only to check on our order, but also on the other patrons she was serving. She definitely got her steps in with all the patrons she was serving and checking on their long awaited food! If the kitchen staff was even 1/2 as motivated as our server was it would be a 10 star restaurant! Shame on the kitchen staff in their slowness, but a definite in the actual food. A giant kudos to all the serving staff! Absolutely fantastic experience eating here for a corporate event. Vibes are fine dining so you can factor that into the prices. Waitstaff were attentive despite serving a huge group. Highlights: Chile-Glazed Chicken was was a huge juicy portion of meat (I don't think the picture captures how huge that chicken was It was impossible to finish without walking away stuffed). It was so beyond good that that its okay that the sweet potatoes were two tiny strips hidden under the chicken. It's notable that the steak comes with a full side of fries while this comes with raw onions and 2 potato slivers , but in all honesty the portion of chicken you get is so large that you most likely will be full. Buffalo Cauliflower was a table favorite cauliflower was perfectly cooked breading was delicious servings were enough for 2 people. Burrata it was my first time eating burrata and while it is not for everyone (lots of dairy and an unfamiliar flavor and texture put some people at my table off) the cheese + honey topping on delicious thick slices of toast was my personal favorite dish. Overall this place was worth the walk from where we were staying and certainly is a must-try if you are staying in this hotel the food is pricey but they do their best to live up to the prices with quality food and generous portions read more

I really wanted to love this place, but it was just "OK" to me. My friend and I stopped in around 7:15pm on a Thursday - the restaurant was nearly filled! We were lucky to get seated at a high raise table near the bar. Service was good. Our waitress walked us through her recommendations for the meal. We tried the house burrata (honestly the best part of the meal!) and spicy tuna bruschetta (expected this to be more flavorful - it was alright). I expected the bread to be homemade given the reputation and cost of Corinne, but realized that was not the case. We split the salmon entree - again, it wasn't anything to write home about but was filling. Our table was large so we could spread out DRINKS: *Ginger Sunrise Juice* carrot, ginger, beet, orange, ginger, turmeric - just what we needed after a long night! SHAREABLES: *Biscuits with Jam & Butter* these biscuits were so buttery and delicious and huge! The order comes with 3 large biscuits, a side of butter and strawberry jam. On the menu it shows that adding fruits cost $4 extra, but we were charged $7, which is the charge for a side of fresh fruits - The server explained it was because for the amount of fruits that were added? Lauren gave wonderful recommendations, and I ended up loving the salmon! All of the food had a great presentation and was cooked to our specifications. Calamari, starter bread and Salmon were my favorite. I did take off one star because the tables are way too close together. Trying to get in the booth my booty was in another tables face. It was a tight squeeze and we all made a joke about it, but it was uncomfortable. Would have wish for more space in between especially for privacy in conversations. The crumbled bacon was a perfect addition to an already tasty egg. The chicken scramble was a very large portion, see photo, with tender, well seasoned chicken, delicious melted cheese, peppers, and potatoes. I'm very pleased with my choices food wise. This was a memorable brunch, in a extremely cozy venue. Management deserves credit for hiring and properly training Carli and Leo. And three cheers to the chefs. Food and beverage quality was top-notch, and although some might say that this was a pricey breakfast, it was well worth it without any question.
