And after 20 min of us sitting there patiently waiting, listening to him opine on the flavors of different drinks, he finally comes over and says flippantly, has anyone helped you yet? Knowing full well he handed us menus twenty minutes earlier. My wife then orders a specific drink and he says no sorry we're out of that and steps away again. If you need to have a tasting session in the afternoon maybe make sure your customers are served first, but what do I know... In town for a convention and this is a small intimate restaurant close to the convention center. The Wagyu tartare was delicious as was the kale and apple salad. Was in town for a conference and ended up trying 3 different menus: brunch, lunch, and happy hour! 3 different days and each time I had a delightful experience. Thank you Corrine for a fantastic brunch yesterday on Thanksgiving. Everything was awesome. We loved the food; some Thanksgiving favorites but plenty of other choices which is what I wanted. Huge props for labeling the dishes dairy or gluten-free etc. That's big for those of us with special needs. Also loved that your place is cozy and filled with comfortable, padded seating. That's another thing that makes a difference to those of us that are older, but also have mobility issues. I didn't need to use any of my aids and was comfortable the entire time. Our server Taylor was prompt, attentive, friendly, easy to talk to and always on her game. The whole working crew ran smoothly and efficiently and we very much enjoyed our meal yesterday. Being told not to rush, stay as long as you like, go back as many times as you want, and then, take a to-go box home?!?! Had a great experience at Corinne. My husband and I didn't have a reservation but the hostess was able to seat us after a short wait. Our waitress was cheerful and made some great recommendations! I had the diver scallops which were perfectly seared and paired nicely with the greens. My husband ordered the miso glazed halibut which he said was very good. I had the mockingbird mocktail which was delicious. We split an order of the strawberry shortcake which was ok, strawberries were fresh. Dinner was gorgeous and delicious. We were very happy with our French onion soup and braised beef. The grilled salmon was also excellent. The price, quite steep for what we ordered, but for a fancy date night, it was sort of worth it. Great location if you're catching a show afterward. Mocktail was crazy expensive for no alcohol! Decor was beautiful. Service was great. The food did take a while to come out, so if you are catching a show, go early and give yourself plenty of time. I was excited to take my friends here who were visiting from out of town. It had great reviews and said it was child friendly which was a must as a single parent. We arrived and the hostess took 10 minutes to even acknowledge we were there then said she needed more time to clean off some tables which she did very slowly. She then said she would seat the 4 of us at a 2 top with a high chair. She told us to wait until the table was ready. They set the table and brought over a high chair and then suddenly took the high chair away. In true "see you next Tuesday form" the hostess did not say anything to us and instead sat another couple who had just walked into the restaurant. They still said nothing to us until I walked over to the host stand and then blurted out that the couple they sat had been waiting before us for 50 minutes but got "lost in the system". Mind you, the couple had not been in there at all when we got there and we were told we would have the table. I am sure that we were profiled because we had a toddler with us and they decided to seat others in our place that they had set up for us. Not only that, but nobody ever came to talk to us and inform us about what happened. And then to top it off they told us we could order to go and sit in the lobby of the Meridian. Their behavior and attitudes were absolutely atrocious and definitely discriminatory based on us trying to bring a child during happy hour (before dinner seating had even opened). 0/10 do not go here if you enjoy polite hosts and wait staff and are looking for a family friendly establishment. The hotel lobby bar was everything Corinne was not. The bartenders and servers were friendly, food was delicious, and service was fast. I had high expectations for this place considering it is one of the highest rated restaurants in the downtown Denver area. The drinks, apps, service, and atmosphere were great! We ordered the short rib as our main and that is where it went down hill. I would expect a $50 entree to be AMAZING but it was fatty and tough, half of it was wasted as it was inedible so that was disappointing. I will re-think coming here next time we're downtown and looking for a nice spot to have dinner. read more

The first day we came in for breakfast, including eggs, avocado toast and pancakes, which were all made exceptionally well. The second day we had brunch where we ordered steak & eggs, croquet madame and the chicken Philly. Our second time around, all the food was made very well and plated beautifully. I was very confident that we were going to be able to obtain a table on a Saturday night with a reso especially for a 5-top. We were in luck and had a very nice round table tucked in the corner where if you sat with your back against the wall, you had the best view of restaurant. Michael was our waiter and he was very engaging and courteous. We spoke at great lengths about the bourbon and the meat from a somewhat secretive location in the SE corner of Wyoming. One of our dining partners had actually visited this location and knew of the ranch, the beef, and the care of the cut. As interesting as all of that was, I was desperately trying to find something vegan to eat. There were not a lot of options but decided to throw caution to the wind with the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer. The Spicy Tuna Bruschetta was also ordered and quickly the apps arrived. The Buffalo Cauliflower was done exceptional well. I didn't partake in the homemade ranch but the execution of the Cauliflower was perfection. For those who don't know, Cauliflower can either be cooked too much or not enough. These were done just right. Two of the diners ordered the Brush Creek Wagyu Burger. One diner wanted grilled onions and American cheese - which I find to be offensive on some many levels but that's him. Corrine's didn't have American cheese but offered other flavors to which he declined. Taking bets - as to what happened next. 1,2,3... No grilled onions on his burger and then he asked for extra pickles and of course there was an issue with the temperature grading. The Medium was not Medium enough The other diner who order Wagyu burger didn't have any issues and enjoyed his meal immensely. The third diner had a Filet. It was cooked exquisitely and he enjoyed his meal thoroughly. The service by Michael was taking unexpected turn and Olivia, the manager, was called in to save the day with Wagyu missing grilled onions and extra pickles. They were able to turn the music down in the room as well which also helped. We had a fixed menu to choose from and started with shared salads which were fresh and food. For my entree I had the salmon which was basic, but good. The key lime pie for dessert was excellent. I love toasted meringue and this version had that instead of whipped cream which made me happy. This was a welcomed impromptu breakfast. Serving a breakfast friendly menu, or brunch many may call it, is so nice. I always feel like I have to eat my meals in order no matter the time of day. The hosts were so warm and welcoming to our questions. I wish I had gotten their names to give compliments but they absolutely stood out in how kind they were, a young man and young lady combo. Today July 19, 2025 if management reads this. Then our table attendant Cesar was a great follow through to the vibe. He answered our menu questions and then acknowledged that my colleagues mentioned how they were short on time and did all he could to help us get a great experience in between work. They have a sectioned off room for large groups that an sit 30 people. Was there for dinner on a weekday and they were doing good business, probably because some convention was in town. For the drink, I got their daiquiri. Pretty sweet and fruity, and has a decent punch, just the way I like it. We tried a bunch of their appetizers. The crab croquettes were decent. The buffalo sauce on the buffalo cauliflower was on the stronger side, but was good for opening the appetite. Buratta has a sweet mix on top of it, and goes well with the rustic bread. For mains, I got the filet mignon which was served over asparagus and mashed potatoes. The filet was tender, and has pretty good flavor. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth. Tasted delicious overall. For dessert, I got the creme brulee which was served in a rectangular pan. Tasted like a good creme brulee with a hard shell and creamy sweet innards. Comes with some almond biscotti for some more crunch. Overall pretty good dinner. Prices are middle upper end, so not cheap. While using this App to look for best breakfast places, I was pleased to discover that Corrine's, in the hotel I was staying in, had top ratings. While I can't remember the name of the gentleman who served me then, I've always made it a point to come back to Corrine's, even if I'm staying in a different hotel. The food is always amazing, and the service is impeccable. My Servers this trip were CJ & Julie. The breakfast, as always, amazing and cooked to perfection. Overall, a really good experience and I would absolutely return! We booked via OpenTable for Easter brunch. When we booked, OpenTable asked if we wanted to do the Easter brunch buffet or the regular menu. We booked the regular menu. Fast forward to Easter day, we are sat at a table and the brunch buffet menu is on the table. We explained our situation and our server didn't miss a beat, said she'd check with her manager. Manager comes over, explains the regular menu isn't available and the issue would have been worth Open Table. This was a frustrating situation, but she was very kind. My mom doesn't eat much and my dad was more in the mood for the regular menu items. The manager (I'm SO SORRY not to have gotten her name) allowed us to reach a reasonable agreement and checked in on us during our meal to ensure we were happy despite this unexpected turn. The food was good, though not sure it was worth the buffet price and I'm certain the regular food is superior - being served fresh and as the chef intended. The mimosas were from a tap, and I admittedly didn't have high hopes when seeing the glasses being filled, but they were strong and delicious! My dad enjoyed his old fashioned, as well. Me and my boyfriend found this place on yelp wanting to try some high quality food after eating at diners for a couple days. We were so impressed! Beautiful spot located in the downtown nightlife with plenty of street meter parking on a weekday. Ambience is dark but moody and romantic. We had a mini candlelit setting. Our server was amazingly sweet and personable and made our experience even better. The food had our eyes rolling to the back of our heads. Drinks - I tried their daiquiri and it kinda got me drunk. Boyfriend got a strawberry mint cocktail that was yummy and didn't even taste like alcohol. Starter- We saw a lot of reviews on the buffalo cauliflower and wanted to try. It was the highlight of our meal. I kept forgetting it wasn't chicken because the texture and flavoring was perfect. I like that the buffalo sauce was coated and not overly creamy or runny. The ranch dressing is important!!! And I was thankful for how they sliced the celery sticks to make it more convenient and yummy to eat. I'm picky with how I have my celery cause of the fibers. Mains - I got the miso halibut cause I wanted something light. LOVE all the mushrooms, bok choy, and mini onions that complimented the sauce. Nothing was overly dominating in flavor so it made the components enjoyable. Boyfriend got the wagyu and was worried about how it came out like a stew cause he's traumatized by that texture but he was pleasantly surprised.
