The young lady at the counter Alexis was super friendly and helpful. When I walked in I was greeted and she asked me how my day was going. She shared with me that she was in high school and that she was in school all day but was still excited to go in and work. I admire her work ethic and appreciate her showing up. As for the food it was my 2nd time eating here at is was just as good as the first. I got the lemon chicken bowl with pita chips on the side. It's kind of a new addiction for me and much better than similar competitors. I will be back! read more

CAVA - Lemon Chicken Bowl - Salad Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

There is a new king of the valley when it comes to the "healthy bowl community". Whether teriyaki chicken, taco, salads to go or ramen, they all must step aside for the best bowls ever at CAVA. This Mediterranean bowl or pita place is hands down, one of my favorite quick meal hot spots. I wish the staff had name tags, the African American lady behind the counter is one the nicest, friendly and hard working employees I've recently met. She took personal pride in preparing my pita wrap tonight. It was perfect ! The sauces here make the meals from savory to spicy . You get to have your meal made the way you want it. Rice, sauces, beans, salad, proteins of your choice, toppings and final toppings make this meal unique. They also have a good selection of ice teas, lemonades and fruit drinks to chose from. If you are looking to wake up your taste buds and get your saluvary glands pumping, head to your nearest CAVA. You won't be sorry. read more

If you haven't tried cava before- RUN THERE!!! Today they had their community day as a soft opening before they open tomorrow! All of my friends and family who I have told about cava have fallen in love. Their food is delicious, healthy, and very filling. Tonight i got a green and grains bowl (i picked arugula and right rice) then i got honey harissa grilled chicken, hummus, taziki, crazy feta, pickled onions, avocado, corn, tomatoes, & kalmata olives in my bowl. They also give you a side of pita, included! Their juices are yummy- i enjoyed the lemonade, my sister enjoyed the mint cucumber juice and my husband the blueberry soda. Staff was friendly and i am so excited for this location to share the yumminess of cava with the valley! read more

Normally 5 stars, but this time I ordered my usual harissa chicken bowl. THERE WAS NO CHICKEN! And no pita chips! And an insane pile of onions that I had to take out. I tried calling, but nobody answered, so here I am writing a review. Unacceptable. read more

I love Cava! Their food is great I just dislike this location specifically. The staff here is rude, the tables are always super dirty, and the last time I went their lentils were so hard! I recommend Cava just go to the another location instead. read more

This place is always busy and a little messy, however the food is amazing. I drive 24 miles from time to time for this food. I hope the open one on the west side of the valley soon. The cucumber salad they put in the pitas is amazing. read more

Hello, On June 24th I went in to get my online order and it wasn't ready-I did not get a email confirmation so it did not go through. Although the staff was amazing they took my order at the counter and they were so efficient. I had 11 orders and when I got back to work the staff orders were all on point. Everyone was polite and did not make me feel awkward. Great Food! Great Service! The restaurant was so clean. read more

If I could give this place a zero for customer service I would. I can appreciate the staff came to work and the location is open but what is hard to appreciate is lack of service and kindness. I blame Cava corporate in a whole, these staff members seem very unhappy to be here and overwhelmed. This is the worse location I have ever been to. I believe it is Cava corporation responsibly to ensure their employees are not only felt appreciated and happy to do their job while at work but also to read these reviews and make some changes. As a local in the area I will never recommend or visit this location again. The Resturant was dirty and although the cashier had gloves on to handle the money she was still seem handling the pita bread with the same gloves she was taking money with. I ordered lunch sat in the restaurant and listened to how the staff handled orders which seemed very rude there was no greetings. I also ordered a Togo bowl through the app because I was so blown away how rude the staff was I preferred to just order it online. Not did it only take twice as long to make the order as it indicated online when I asked if they where running behind the overwhelmed 1 person show to handle all online orders was very rude and short with me only stating these ppl where first your ticket just came over. (Although she did not realize I had been sitting in the restaurant the whole time.) But being she was overwhelmed I did not give her a hard time because this is a corporate issue to ensure staffing is adequate not just for the business but for the staff. read more

Love this place for its convenient, modern and tasty take on Mediterranean food! The employees are always really nice and upbeat, but let's face it, the real draw is the menu. I love grain bowls and such, but there aren't usually many (if any) bowls/salads that use Mediterranean ingredients. Some of us want some updated takes on Greek/Mediterranean (in convenient takeout form). I love how many healthy ingredients are on the menu: avocado, hummus, olives, pickled onion, arugula, etc. And you get real portions of them. Most grain bowls get maybe -- *maybe* -- half a handful of whatever veggie you specify. The Mad Greens bowl I get has maybe 6-7 pieces of baby spinach and 3-4 cherry tomatoes. Most of it is just rice. The first time I got a Cava bowl, yeah there was a rice base but the veggies were *really* piled on. And the bowl was surprisingly big. Definitely bigger portions than than Mad Greens or Chipotle. The employees are great about helping to guide you through your options if you want to build your own bowl. But honestly I won't bother with that until I've worked my way through more of the menu options. For fans of the classics, there are things like Greek salad. But I'm focused on all the cool modern options that use Mediterranean ingredients, like the tahini Caesar or, well, most of the grain bowls. Those have some type of meat (lamb, lemon chicken, spicy chicken), but also hummus and various veggies with a tzatziki sauce or spicy lemon vinaigrette. It's genuinely hard to decide what to try. Especially because I also want to try their pita wraps. Falafel or spicy chicken or spicy lamb meatballs in a toasty pita sounds like heaven! Okay, I'm officially making myself hungry so my last comment is this: Great, friendly service and so many unique menu options -- you can't go wrong with Cava! read more

Terrible service, no food experience- will help a growing line of people and ignore your online order and don't have basic manners to say things like "sorry for the delay." The offerings are wildly inconsistent and the place seems like a walking health code violation. Haven't been in food for 20 years but was still astounded by their lack of cleanliness. Food is overpriced slop (see below)- if you want Mediterranean food, that is consistently good and where they'll treat you like a paying customer who they want to return, try George's Kitchen- sorry I didn't this time, because Cava is too good to treat you like a human with dignity and respect: or make food that isn't slop. read more

The food is great! But THIS LOCATION...the customer service is sub par and there is literally always SOMETHING a miss. This location is so-so. Service was good. Quick even with a lunch line. I like the options at Cava and stop at one frequently but the falafel at this location (Camelback in Phoenix, AZ) is terrible. I don't know what is in it but today it had a mushy center without a crusted exterior. Barely any flavor. I am not even sure it was falafel. I didn't eat them. So, I suggest skip the falafel. Go for a different protein. Enjoy your creation. read more

This is my first time trying Cava and it's very good. I ordered online with two dressings on the side but they forgot them and it's too late to drive back. The fact that it doesn't have dressing and I still really like it means I'll definitely go back! It was a cute, clean style restaurant and very busy even at 1pm. read more

CAVA - Make it yourself chicken rice bowl - Salad Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Awful! First time visit. The area where you choose your food was dirty. My bowl was tasteless. Even the tzatziki sauce was bland. Not going back! read more

Don't order to go here. It was my first time trying CAVA. I used the website to build my own bowl, and they forgot half of the things that I wanted in my bowl. I got half super greens and half rice. It was rather comedic, but I recieved one large slice of raw Brussel sprout and a sprinkling of sliced cabbage on top of the rice. They forgot most of my toppings: cucumber, tomato+onion, salt-brined pickles, the pita bread, and my sides of dressings (lemon herb tahini, and skhug). Not sure exactly what is happening behind the scenes as my order was printed out in large print and stuck to my bowl, whether it be they didn't bother to read my order and slapped something random together, or they forgot about my order, or they gave up while making it. The amount of food for ~12$ is also not worth it, but I feel as though if I had gone in-person to order and watched the person make it, I may have had a different experience. Chicken and hummus was pretty good though, can't be upset with the seasoning. read more

This Cava location is very inconsistent. I ordered a greens and grain bowl with Harissa Chicken. The bowl was missing the chicken entirely and had mostly rice with a few greens sprinkled on top. Food was great! The girl with purple hair and face tats was super nice to me!! Definitely coming back!!

I love Cava - it's a great company and I love the food! Unfortunately, they need some help in the staffing department. They ran out of ingredients and did not indicate that when I picked up my mobile order. I got all the way home and then realized that it was missing several ingredients because they ran out. When I called to ask if I could just get a partial refund to save me the trip back, they refused and said I would need to bring the salad back. The manager did not seem to care and was not the nicest when I called or in person. They could have at least told me when I picked it up so I could have saved myself 40 minutes of driving back and forth. Not great customer service and not great inventory management. An almost $17 bowl and they couldn't be bothered read more

I came here for the first time and tried the harissa avocado bowl. The bowl was made of fresh ingredients and the combination really went amazing together. Great flavor with every bite. The manger Quinn was very polite and professional. She has a young staff but all were friendly. The pita chips are a must! So good. They carry Maine root natural sodas as well as different flavors of Fresca like drinks and teas. The Lightning and ambiance is bright and modern. Go to lunch or dinner spot on e camelback. read more

CAVA - Salad Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Two stars because I have love for food here, always makes for yummy lunch, HOWEVER, I'm not sure if Cava treats their employees like trash because they did not seem happy/willing to help. I walked in and there was a two girls standing behind the counter looking at one girl's phone (w a pink phone case :)), I stood waiting for someone to come up to me and take my order as they just continued to look at the girls pink phone and then walked to ask me my order. GLOVES WERE NOT CHANGED. She literally went from touching her PHONE to fixing my bowl. Does cava not implement sanitary requirements? Pretty gross. Everyone else just seemed like they were just bummed out to be there. The staff from earlier in the year was amazing and kind. That was so crazy for me lol. Stay clean guys :) read more

A lot of these reviews are crazy. Earlier today was the first day I had Cava. And just to let you know, I'll be eating this for dinner as well. I order the braised lamb with the harissa and garlic sauce with a bunch of other great choices they had. The food was insanely tasteful. I usually only get a plethora of flavors from Indian food but this place really hit the spot. If you want to be amazed come here. I just found my go to spot so. Also the staff was awesome read more

Love this place, it sort of felt like Chipotle's line up- the food was a bit strange and different, but you'll never know to grow if you don't ever take the plunge!!!! Life is too short to not want to try different food even if it just worthy enough to make a turd!! read more

First time impressions from lunch today: Front door was locked. Walk around and enter on the side. Someone behind the counter yelled that " online orders only." So, I ordered via app and returned. Unclear where to pick up food. The dining room was dirty. The beverage dispensers had no lids. The place seemed really off and poorly managed. The guests, like me, seemed disoriented because there was no clear vision of what the restaurant actually is. Who is in charge? where do you enter? Where do you order? Where the hell am I? With this said, the menu is good. The food was good. They have that down. They need to get it together and focus on the details . They have a winning formula but the execution, today, lacked. read more

The protein was over salted, very sparing, and they drenched everything in sauces. Great concept and the menu sounds great, but they really should watch the seasoning and the amount of sauces they put. The employees were busy talking about their personal stuff. read more
