Great late lunch/early dinner at Mad Greens. We had the MADiterraneam Bowl with Tofu and the PanchoVilla Salad with Tofu. Both were delicious. This is our old location and it was fun stopping in again since we were on this side of town. New employees for us but same great service and the place looks great and well taken care of. Hibiscus unsweetened tea hit the spot and instantly quenched our thirst. Thank you Mad Greens for always being so reliable with awesome selections, great taste and wonderful service. Our diet had been lacking vegetables lately, so we decided to try a salad place for dinner. We ordered the Green Machine Wrap, which was vegetarian and included hand chopped romaine, lemon herb grilled organic tofu, crumbled feta, fresh avocado, cucumbers, green onions, and house made green goddess dressing wrapped in a spinach tortilla. The wrap was surprisingly hearty even though it did not have much meat, and it was visually appealing because of all the green ingredients. I had half of the wrap and it was enough to fill me up. We also ordered the Siam I Am Salad, which was vegan and came with spinach, kale, cooked quinoa, lemon herb grilled organic tofu, shredded carrots, green onions, shelled edamame, and house made ginger soy dressing. It typically includes crunchy sunflower seeds, but they had run out, so I chose pecan praline as a substitute. The sweetness surprisingly worked well and helped balance the overall flavor of the salad. Overall, the meal was very satisfying, and I felt very healthy eating such a clean meal. read more

I've been here before and do enjoy the salads. It's nice that fast food salad places are becoming a thing, but I do wish it could be less expensive. My friend and I walked in around 615-630 on a Thursday night to order food to go. No one else was in line when we arrived. The restaurant was clean and stocked, and there was an outdoor area for seating too. Everyone working was nice. Ordered for lunch today, haven't tried this place before. I had the Cobb salad and a Topo-Chico. Overall the salad was good, I did order it with medium dressing mixed in. Was a good choice on my part. I hate mixing in my own dressing as I feel when I get it on the side it's never enough . This was perfect! I also ordered a regular size which was perfect for lunch. For a bowl of mac I would expect more than 1/4 of the bowl to be filled. But perhaps that's just me. The kids Mac was a larger portion then the adult, so get that one. Thought I'd try a 'create your own wrap' instead of the risky southwest grain bowl. . Romain lettuce, mixed greens, wanton strips, celery, cheddar, carrots, grilled chicken and a spinach tortilla with cilantro chili lime sauce. Never again. One half had 3 tiny bits of chicken and the rest was lettuce rind, celery and a bit of shredded carrot, aaaaand, way too much chili lime sauce - it was pretty much inedible. For around $12, I choose the Elote Mac & Cheese with house grilled chicken and creamy ginger sauce on the side. They use bowtie pasta. I got the southwest bowl a few days ago while out on errands. The salad didn't have enough dressing and the rice was hard at some points, which is honestly a dental disaster if someone isn't paying attention. They didn't put the other half portion of avocado since I asked for avocado instead of grilled chicken so I didn't get the actual correct amount of avocado that should come in it. Absolutely awful experience at Mad Greens. I'm not sure what was worse--the wilted, soggy lettuce, the bland, uninspired toppings, or the staff who clearly didn't want to be there. My "custom" salad was thrown together with zero care, half the ingredients were missing, and what I did get tasted like it had been sitting out all day. To top it off, the place was filthy. Tables hadn't been wiped, the floor was sticky, and the drink station looked like a science experiment gone wrong. I've had better salads from gas stations. Never going back. read more

It had 5 good sized shrimp, avocado, mango, spinach, red onion, tortilla strips, and cotija cheese . If I order this again, I'll skip the red onion. Shrimp and mango have mild flavors, and the onion overwhelmed them. Many interesting choices. I definitely will go back. The employees were friendly, and greeted me with a smile. Just ordered off of UberEats. We got the Caesar and Greek salads. We got the regular size, which goes for $11.50 but is the size of a Safeway grab n go salad that goes for at least half the price. Honestly, we would have been better off going to Safeway. The Caesar dressing had the viscosity and taste of mayonnaise. I understand they contain similar ingredients but nothing about the dressing rang Caesar to me. We stopped in here after I had a really stressful day and my partner told me we would pick up food from anywhere I wanted. I have been craving the Don Quixote with shrimp, so he quickly made his way to 7th Ave. Perfect salad. I got the Mad Spice on my avocado and boy was it delicious. The spicy mouth burn slowed down my quick eating and helped me to savor the meal that much more. I like how they cut down the giant leaves so they aren't the size of my face and cover my nose with dressing every time I take a bite (this may or may not happen frequently with homemade salads). I thought I found a good new place to get some healthy greens. But was i wrong! I ordered a wrap with southwest chicken. It tasted good, BUT as I'm chewing and driving, I thought I was chewing on the roasted red peppers I replaced the tomatoes with. Something wasn't right so I pulled over, on the freeway, to check it out and it was RAW CHICKEN! On top of that, there was yellow chicken fat on the chicken. They must buy the discounted chicken. After calling to ask for a refund, the employees were rude and laughing on the phone about me getting my money back and kept questioning me about me name. She also told me that the chicken was cooked this morning... I was there about 7:40pm tonight. I will NEVER go there again, except to get my refund tomorrow. No wonder it was empty!
