Any night I walk home from work I pass the Brider sign and think: "I should go there some time". Tonight I finally made that happen. And the only question I ask is: why have I not stopped here before? I really liked the vibe of this place how you order at the counter and then find a seat. I went with the Brussels sprouts and the lamb harissa sandwich. Oh man: the flavors of both dishes were superb. The sprouts were cooked perfectly and so delicious with the marinade used. The lamb harissa was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. There were so many depths of flavor packed between two slices of bread. And although the ingredients all meshed weltogether you could still taste the individual components: it was seriously delicious. This lovely spot is a nearly perfect execution of the latest high-end, fast casual concept. The space is sleek and modern, but comfortable with a number of four-tops, a long communal table, and a large bar, so there is a surprising amount of seating. There's a printed menu on a stand as you enter plus a huge chalkboard menu with the latest items. Many of the pastries and sandwiches are also displayed in a large case with an open kitchen behind it. Everything looks neat, clean, and very appealing. The breakfast sandwiches in the case looked interesting, but we had come for lunch so we passed on those. I ordered the "Oak" meatball sandwich and my friend had a meat and cheese panini. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We interacted with five different staffers and they were all very welcoming and enthusiastic. We ordered at the counter, then continued along the line to the register where we paid and were given a numbered tag to place on our table. Another friendly staffer brought the food to us almost immediately. My meatball sandwich was huge and delicious with really deep, wonderful flavors and on a very tasty Ciabatta (see the photo). My friend's panini looked a little wimpy in comparison, but he said it was very filling. My sandwich made two full meals and I thought it was a very good value for the quality and amount of ingredients. The space is pleasant and light-filled from huge windows facing the street. I'll admit that I'm a fast casual skeptic, but Brider just might change my mind about fast casual dining. The experience here was great from start to finish. The employee who took our order was great, as were the employees who brought out the food and were bussing tables. I was lunching with my toddler daughter, and the employee bussing tables was especially attuned to the needs of a parent with a toddler, bringing extra napkins when our food arrived and boxes for our leftovers when we started packing up. The food portion of the experience started with a check-in chocolate chip cookie that was outstanding. I'd return just for that. The sweet potato avocado salad and the polenta and meat balls were also outstanding and worthy of return trips. The kids' polenta and meat balls is a very generous serving. I went to Brider for a quick, light, fresh dinner on a Wednesday after attending a yoga class down the street. This is a very cute cafe with great vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free, options and they have carnivorous meat options too. The cafe is nice and wide open with outdoor seating with ceiling to floor open airway in between the indoor and outdoor seating. You order at a counter and they walk your meal over to you so you save on tipping the same as a full waiter service restaurant. A tip jar is still present at the counter. I ordered the sweet potato and avocado salad ($11)which had excellent flavor, textures and depth. The sweet potatoes chunks and slices of avocado were so fresh with peanuts and cucumbers and peanutty Thai sauce. I got a nice glass of pinot grigio ($8) to go with my salad. My friend that I went with a tall glass of cranberry and lavender kombucha ($6). The service was quick and easy. They have silverware and napkins at the table already and self-serve water glass pitchers and cups. The location is also in a great part of shops like Kindness yoga, an custom donut shop, clothing stores, and is straight across from Denver Beer Co. Pros- Thai salad. Spring salad. Okay - steak and potatoes dinner dish - some meat burnt - so so - Cesar salad. Good but not too rich for a Cesar. I'm anxious to keep trying more of their menu. Oh boy, this has probably been said in other reviews, but how have I not been here yet? Brider is INCREDIBLE. We came in after a day of hiking hoping for some decent drinks and some snacks to hold us off until dinner, and ended up with the whole place to ourselves and a full menu to choose from. First things first, the Brider secret sauce is life itself. They put it on the brussels sprouts and on the wings and it is so damn good. We brought a bottle back home with us as well, and have unfortunately gone through the whole thing already. The full bar is excellent, carries all the drinks you could want with a super friendly staff. Their namesake rotisserie is, as you would expect, delicious as an entree or also in the tortilla soup and ramen. Just loved the vibe in this place, coupled with high quality cooking and a great complementary drink list. Will be back for sure read more

Delicious. Rotisserie was flavorful but not too strong, really juicy. Breakfast sandwhich had a great slight crisp to the challah bread outside and fluffy inside. Tortilla soup was a surprise too, slightly sour but when you add the feta it kind of evened out the profile. Avocado added some richness and the tortilla added nice texture. I was driving for Uber-Eats in the downtown area stopped to do a pickup, picked up an order for a customer and then they also had a leftover sandwich that was an accident and asked if I would like it, and let me tell you I didn't even get to the sandwich until about an hour later and let me tell you theirs is the best sandwich in town, everywhere else is same over and over but I think I finally found a good healthy sandwich spot. I also enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup which balanced out well with the feta cheese, avocado, crunchy tortilla strips, pickled radish (?). My favorite dish was the breakfast sandwich and chips. Will be back to try the hot chicken sandwich, mac n cheese and Brussel sprouts! Service was great. One of the servers gave great recommendations and came to check up on us after we tried everything. Food is good but the staff is miserable. Just watched a staff member blow her nose and then grab plates and put pastries on display to sell. I have been here a few times and every time I come in the staff looks like they would rather be elsewhere. They are rude to customers and not professional. If there were more options in the area I work, I would make sure to go elsewhere. read more

COVID pickup update: we've had a few meals for pickup during lockdown and it's been delicious! I especially have enjoyed the Wagyu french dip...so good! And again the sweet potoato fries are excellent. Thanks guys! First time visit today and it was very good! We had a sampling of the small plates(Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes fries, and the Brussels sprouts). All of these were very good but I'd say the fries stood out to me (very crispy, nice salt, and the cilantro aioli was awesome!). We also had the wagyu beef French dip which was very impressive (nice flavorful cuts of meet and nice bread). Anyway, not sure what took us so long to stop by, but I definitely plan on returning to check out some lore of what Brider has to offer. Also, the service was great and very freindly read more

PARKING - There's plenty of parking down Platte and even a lot across the street. We arrived early on a Sunday and didn't have any problems finding parking. Also, parking is free on Sundays so that was a plus. SERVICE - You order your food at a counter and your order is brought to your table. The cashier was nice and our food arrived quickly. The place was clean and bright. I loved the open patio area. FOOD - I ordered the sweet potato and avocado salad. It was nice and refreshing. The sweet potato was soft and the dressing was light. I usually prefer my salads dry but the dressing really added a nice flavor to the salad. It was a pretty large salad; I took the other half home with me. Overall, I'd return to Brider to try other items (and order this salad again). read more

The sweet potato dipping sauce was just amazing and we had to get more for our main entrees as well. I ordered their chicken pesto sandwich and the rotisserie chicken was cooked to perfection! The restaurant was pretty quick with our meals. We stood in line to order than sat down and a waitress brought our food. Brider is excellent. I've had breakfast and lunch here and enjoyed both very much. I want to return so that I can try more things on the menu. It was so difficult for me to decide what I wanted! I had huevos rancheros for breakfast and then when we visited for lunch recently, I had the sweet potato and avocado salad with a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup. I felt that the soup was heavy on the oregano- but that's just a personal issue. The soup itself was silky and the flavors well-developed and the chicken was delicious. The salad was a huge portion and I ate every little bite! Hubs had the French Dip and I had a bite of that too and it was yummy. The bread is awesome and the onions were nicely sauteed and the meat was perfect. You get a free cookie with Yelp check-in so you can eat dessert first while you're waiting for your food! The service is very friendly and helpful. My one little quibble would be that they have this sign at the front that says Brider offers FREE PARKING- when the lot is actually finished. I wish they would just do away with this sign until the parking is actually complete. It makes it seem as though the completion is imminent when it's been months and months of building. If I could eat every meal here, everyday, I would. The sandwiches are super delicious. I have tried the wagyu beef french dip and the lamb & harissa sandwich. They said the french dip is one of their most popular items and now I know why - it was by far the best I've ever had. Both sandwiches were loaded with fresh, high quality ingredients, and were the perfect size. The sandwiches are also served with a mound of chips - it would be nice if there was a healthier alternative offered. The price point is a little steep for my liking (especially if you plan on adding a protein to a salad), but you can definitely taste the quality and unique flavors. Be sure to check in and get the free cookie - it was delicious! I'd also suggest finding free street parking in the highlands and then walking over across the bridge. read more

The chocolate chip cookie was the best thing we had. I got it free with my yelp check-in.. YAY! The cookie had white chocolate chip and milk chocolate chips, crispy but yet soft when you bite in. A top contender with a just baked hot chocolate chip cookie in my book! Brussels sprouts (6 dollars) with sesame seeds was way too salty. Tolerable for the first 5 or so bites. They give you a big portion as a side order but the saltiness makes it impossible to make it thru. The charr is on point and these would be great brussels if they could control their salt. The bacon egg and cheese bagel way too dry . Egg and cheese starts 5 dollars and add $ 1.50 to add bacon, sausage or avocado. I assumed the egg would not have the yolk over cooked so I didn't even think to specify and the yolk was cooked solid. That runny yolk even just a bit, could have helped for some moisture. There was 1 thin slice of Melted american cheese on one side of bagel. You get their ketchup sauce on the side( thank god it's on the side because I was not a fan at aaall). Hard to swallow because the bagel was dry. Should have at least had some melted butter on to moisten up the bagel. What a disappointment because thats the only thing I had my heart set on for breakfast.... a good simple breakfast sandwich. My boyfriend got the wagu roast beef sandwich (15 dollars) and opted for the side salad. The premade side salad has mix greens that was overdressed with copious amounts of dressing. It sits in a huge container by the register.That being said since it's premade and already has all that dressing on mixed greens lettuce that isn't that hefty, it becomes soggy and wilty very easy. When we got the wagu beef sandwich it still came with chips so that made up for the wilty salad. The crispy house-made potato chips were great, crisp and seasoned with a seasoning salt blend it seemed. The wagu beef sandwich came on a full sized ciabatta roll (see pics). The bread was very crusty hard, but not hard because it wasn't fresh. It made it hard to chew for sure. Since the roll was so big, even cut in half you could not get it to dip in the container of au jus. Had to pour it to real get a good amount on before a bite. Margarita (9 dollars) was undrinkable. Too much lime juice mix, incredibly tart and concentrated. Not shaken enough maybe. Honestly it seemed like it was just premade batch that's then poured over ice when ordered. I don't think they have bartenders back there making drinks to order. I even tried to water it down and still couldn't drink it. Coffee experience was not good either. My boyfriend ordered the vanilla latte (4 dollars) and he thought it was standard but way too tiny. read more

I had family visiting and we rode bikes downtown and around and found this place. We thought it would be easy because it was a "walk-up ordering" set-up. The staff was all very friendly! We came at 3:30 and their dinner menu starts at 4:00, but we were still able to order food off the dinner menu (just not the chicken which weren't fully prepared yet). I had the salmon and it was some of the best prepared salmon I've had in Denver. It was cooked with the skin on and the skin was crispy and well flavored while the rest was tender and flaky. The kitchen accommodated a food allergy for my sister and it was a great set up for my nephew who is under 1 y/o. We all agreed this was great food, convenient and very friendly! read more
