How can Snarf's ever not receive a 5 star review. This is a different location for me to try. Huge bonus is that it is literally less than a 5 minute walk from my child's new flat. I enjoy a Snarfs sandwich once in wile. But I will not be going back to this location ever agin. I was the only person in the restaurant from the time of placing my order until the time I left with my food. As my sandwich was being completed I saw it was not correct. So I stepped to the counter to tell the employee it was wrong and she said no problem and fixed the issue right away. The issue came into play that as soon as this error was told to the employee I was immediately confronted by who I believe to be the on-duty mgr Sernea. Who quite rudely told me go stand against the wall. I understand COVID-19 concerns. But this employee Sernea needs a class in how to talk to Customers because her complete lack of customer service skills just lost this location 2527 Federal Blvd a Customer. read more

I LOVE Snarf's. I do. But this location sucks. I was so excited to get a sandwich on my day off.. but the lady was super rude who took my order. Oh well, I figured for the sandwich it was worth it. Get my sandwich and there are NO TOPPINGS. Who doesn't put mayo on a sandwich? This location apparently you have to ask for it. Super bummed. First time to Snarf's. Was hungry so got the large portobello sandwich. I asked the sandwich maker if they had sautéed mushrooms to add, he said no. Between the portobello and the generous helping of additional non-sautéed mushrooms, it made for a dry sandwich, as could be expected from that combo. It was okay, fair. Bread is really nice, and sizable. That being true, the other issue with Snarf's is the value. A large portobello sandwich and chips (no drink), $15. Definitely was not up to the value charged. Staff was very friendly, and helpful to a first time patron. Good job, staff. The price point will likely have me exploring other sandwich shops before making a return to Snarf's. I'm good with a large sandwich n chips being $9-11, but for $15 the product has to be omg and something you call your relatives and tell them they have to make a trip soon to visit you & try this place. read more

We usually love this Snarf's location and order from here frequently. They had accidentally covered one of our no Mayo sandwiches with Mayo, we called to ask if we could come back in for a replacement sub. The man on the phone replied with attitude "I cannot fucking help you I'm just the dishwasher dude." When we asked the dishwasher if he could put us on the phone with the front, he then proceeded to tell us to "shut the fuck up and that he would beat our ass". Hung up the phone and have not answered the phone again since. This is wildly disrespectful and disappointing as we were trying to support a local business. Unfortunately, with this type of customer service or lack there of we will not be returning. read more

I've been wanting to try Snarfs for a while now and finally got the chance to today. I walked into the restaurant and the employee who took my order huffed at me before I could even say hello. While trying to order he was extremely rude the whole time rolling his eyes, huffing, raising his voice and acted like I was getting on his nerves. This Snarf's is definitely not as nice as the one in Boulder. But it has all of the sandwiches. I came here about a hour Before closing, and it was empty. I ordered a French Dip one girl made it and left it to sit there for like 10 minutes and finally another girl wrapped it up. The meat was a little less then the amount they give you at Boulder original location. The staff is definitely not friendly. But I would still come back as it is super close to my house. Hopefully next time I will have a better experience. read more

City O City has more of a bar vibe to me than a restaurant vibe, which I hadn't been expecting (and perhaps contributed to the awkwardness I felt, as I have always been a tee-totaler and thus have next to no time spent in bar environments). I was seated relatively close to the bar itself, as well. It was a bit loud for mousy ol' me, but the other patrons seemed to be really enjoying it, so if that's your scene, this place will be great for you! It seemed clean, too, so no sticky bar table problems, and the waitress I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I wanted to try the poutine and the barbacoa mushroom tacos, and decided last minute to try one of the non-alcoholic cocktails, I think it was called something like a sidecar with a number? (I don't know any real drink equivalents and kinda picked at random.) The poutine was decadent and filling, with a pretty good melty vegan cheese curd, and the mushroom tacos were smoky and light. The mocktail was interesting and not sweet (which is what I was looking for), with a pleasant citrus bitterness. Overall definite A+ on the food I had, but I think I would want to come with my husband or friends if I am in the area again, because it does feel a little strange sitting alone in there.

They only had one when we went, a pistachio vanilla, and a separate GF cookie option. The GF items are in the same case as the vegan / vegetarian items, but the GF items are Saran wrapped. The donut was very tasty with wonderful flavor, but it was more of a mini bundt cake texture than a donut. Both of our lattes were also very good! I did not get sick, and would love to come back and try some of their actual menu items sometime.
