Customers should not have to do math or hunt through fine print like a budget airlines to figure out what their meal actually costs. Build your labor costs into the menu price and be transparent. Surprise fees create frustration and leave customers feeling misled, regardless of how many disclaimers are printed. To their credit, they removed a couple of drinks from the bill, and I want to be clear that the staff handled the situation professionally. The problem was not the servers.
