Friendly reminder that Brider is a winner. Friendly staff and potentially the best happy hour in Denver!
Went with girlfriends for hh and it had some great deals! The brussel sprouts were so good off the hh menu. The curry was flavorful but the portion was HUGE! It was essentially 3 meals! The service was great at first but after we got our food we were ignored and had to chase down a waiter to get boxes and our check.
I ordered through a third party delivery app, but everything looked and tasted so great that I wanted to come here to share. I can't attest to the in person dining experience, but it will not be long before I go in to see for myself. So far I am a big fan!
This place is such a gem!! It's a casual spot, but they focus on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Our group ordered several things and everyone enjoyed their meal! Standouts were the mac & cheese, sweet potato fries, chicken & pesto sandwich, and wagyu french dip. Lastly, you MUST try their chocolate chip cookie!!! We ended up going back to get more, because it was amazing. Will definitely be back when I'm in town.
What a fantastic lunch this was at Brider! Love the environment and the dedication to scratch made, fresh food, at a very reasonable price. They have options running the gamut from super healthy to indulgent. Speaking of indulgent, they have a sign that Yelp named them the top chocolate chip cookie in all of Denver. While I am not from Denver, and haven't had lots of chocolate chip cookies there for sure, I can absolutely say this one was one of the best I've had in my life. So, it surely has to be up there. My meal at Brider consisted of their french dip sandwich, and a side salad (which was very well done, lots of fun ingredients), which the owner highlighted as one of his favorites. The french dip was a really big sandwich. The bread was excellent, the meat juicy and plentiful, and of course the dipping gravy just gives it that savory pop. I was tempted here by so many excellent options on the menu, so I would probably try something else next time but... first timers, this would be a great choice for you. I loved Denver, and can't wait to visit again. When I do, another lunch at Brider is probably on deck!
Woot! Hi Yelp Fam! This was a pleasant find. Pardon the pics of half eaten food. It's quite good. Showed up right at happy hour which is daily 3-6 pm. Lovely space. Wide open. Low lights. Good music. Great overall concept. Fantastic food. Sandwiches, salads, bowls, and more. Lovely and helpful staff. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Patio is available!
This place is dope!!! We ordered the family style dinner and it was awesome. It includes appetizers, two different salads, rotisserie chicken and their famous cookies.!! Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.
At first when we arrived, my husband was disappointed because he thought it was going to be a bunk dining experience. However, we ordered the charred sesame brussels sprouts, which were a definite yes after, do get them! Then we shared the huevos rancheros bowl, and a yummy Chicken Banh Mi sándwich, a side of half order sweet potato-avo salad with a delectable Thai dressing. Everything was delicious! Definitely worth the trip over there. The service staff was also super friendly and made great recommendations.
Stopped in for happy hour on my recent trip to Denver. They offer happy hour M-F from 3-6pm and have various deals on food and drinks. I selected the falafel pita, Brussels sprouts, and a mule. They make their ginger beer in house so I was excited to try one of their mules. Everything was fresh. I really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts. They were well seasoned and crispy. I appreciated the fact that they weren't soaked in a sauce. Oh! If you check in, you get a free cookie!! Apparently they are well known for their cookies too. And I now see why. It's a chocolate and white chocolate chip cookie. My first time trying it and I can see why it's so popular. It's delicious! The vibe is very chill and they have indoor and covered outdoor seating. It's located in downtown Denver so I can imagine parking may become challenging. Otherwise, it's worth checking out!
Finally got to try this place out. I work down the street and it is delicious! There were multiple items I wanted to try from breakfast foods like juevos rancheros to chicken and meatball sandwiches. I went with the meatball sandwich and it was so good! The service was fairly quick, the place was clean, and they have Gatorade in a can. Can't wait to go back!
My #ThankYouThursday goes to Brider! #1, They have a grrreat happy hour! There are reduced-price food items and drink specials ranging from $4 to $7. #2, the service has always been excellent when I've gone. People seem pretty happy to be working there and that does a lot when they're in the customer service business! Happy workers often lead to happy customers, I think! One time when I was there I was telling the bartender I wanted something to eat but not heavy or fried. He suggested the chicken and veggies on the kid's menu. I said "I can get that?" He said I could, that it wasn't a big deal that I wasn't a kid and he put my needs over the technicalities. It was super good and just the right light meal I was looking for. Stuff like that goes a long way, it's really not always that hard to please people and when I was a server I thought of it that way, too. If I can do it, I will, so I can make people happy with their experience and have nothing but a good time. The space is very open and there are some tables on the patio when Denver weather permits. Across the street is Denver Beer Co. as well as several other establishments in the area. It's a cool neighborhood. If I didn't live on the other end of downtown, I'd be here a lot more often!!
Overall, this place had a great location, seating area and menu. The chicken sandwich was very good, however it was pretty light on the chicken. The meat on the sandwich was also pretty dry, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The salad had a similar vibe, being very light on the avocado. The dressing was very spicy, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. Service was quick and friendly. I will have to give this place another shot.
Torn between 3 and 4 stars. My son (14) said 6/10. So I guess that's equal to 3/5. I liked it a little better than that. We tried the Nashville hot, banh mi and then for sides we upgraded to the sweet potato salad and kale and apple. It was $3 to do the upgrade from the potato chips that normally come with. A bit steep for a sandwich and salad ($18). Anyway...the banh mi had great flavor. The bread was soooo good! The only complaint is that it really like a lot of chicken. More bites lacked chicken than had it. My son felt the same about his sandwich. Too much bread to chicken ratio. My apple kale salad was apple and spinach. I don't know if they ran out of kale or what the situation was because they didn't say anything. I noticed a few bites in that it was supposed to be kale. I would have said something but I'd had a few bites before I remembered. I would have preferred kale. The sweet potato salad was really tasty but it's not a traditional salad with a lettuce base. I liked it but my son (who ordered it) felt like it was ingredients that would go in a salad, but he was wanting lettuce with it. I didn't mind because then I got to eat some! I brought the Rey home and will make a salad out of it with some greens. The staff were super friendly. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a free cookie. It was also just okay. Super buttery and almost too many Choc chips - I can't believe I even wrote that!! I definitely think they are not made from scratch in house.

Amazing food great costumer service . We had chicken soup, breakfast sandwiches and a Brider French dip! It was sooo good! Perfect spot! They have an amazing selection of beers! LocL beers to be exact! You need to check it out. If you are sensitive to spicy food please ask before ordering. read more

Food and service exceeds the five star options. We were helped by a guy named Rob and he was super informative and so genuinely helpful and just all around pleasant. So for the food: We shared the wagyu French dip and sweet potato fries. Sweet fries came with a really great sauce on the side; jalapeño cilantro aioli and the French dip had a full flavored aju,nothing dull here. I actually drank that shit when I was done,stop judging me. The food is definitely worth the stop,you can tell they really put some heart into forming really good food. 10/10 we'll be back! read more

I have been to Brider probably 10 or so times since it opened a few years ago. I keep coming back for the french dip, which is probably the beat in Denver. I've even recommended many friends to go try their french dip. The bread, Wagyu beef, gruyere and horse radish spread make this one delicious sandwich. 5 stars for the french dip. -2 stars for the service. My buddy and I came here with his parents a few months ago and had a less than stellar experience. He and I waited in line to place the order for us all while his parents grabbed us a table. The woman taking our order had this attitude of total apathy, it seemed like she totally hated her job and wouldn't even make eye contact with us when ordering. The. The food came out and they forgot my french dip. So, we all awkwardly waited for my sandwich while everyone else's food was getting cold. This seems to be a common theme with Brider. Today, I took my gf out to lunch here, I (obviously) ordered the french dip, and my gf ordered the ramen. My french dip came out in about 4 minutes and then it took, I kid you not, 20 minutes for her ramen to finally come out. Brider, you're telling me that I'm supposed to eat my sandwich in front of my girlfriend while she had nothing in front of her to eat, or, I'm supposed to let it sit there and get cold? This is totally totally unacceptable. We came here to eat lunch TOGETHER, not watch each other eat. The food is good here but these guys really need to get their sh*t together. The staff has this very undeserving arrogant attitude. Make sure you bring out everyones food together- really not that difficult! read more

We came here on a whim between the slopes in Beaver Creek and the airport. After a long drive I must say I didn't really have much of an appetite, but the food here made me so hungry! The Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection. Love the soy glaze and the balance between the soft inside and the crisped outside. The sandwich was super yummy with the rotisserie's chicken and the bread added the perfect crunch. I substituted a baby kale and shaved apple salad because I craved some greens and it was delectable, loved the crunch from the candied nuts. People in our group ordered the full size and added avocados and rotisserie chicken. Drink selections are perfect. Would definitely come back. read more

It's way better than any other fast-casual establishment. So much better than I don't think it's fair to put it in the same category. But whatever you call it, it IS delicious. So, my husband has a thing for Acorn, but it's not good for our bank account to visit regularly. Now, with a more affordable option with the same great quality within walking distance of home, we might be in trouble. Since they are open for breakfast lunch and dinner, he might spend less but he can go more often. Great drinks (with or without alcohol). Delicious food. Breakfast is simple but better than your average egg sandwich. Once they start making their own bagels (which they said is in the works), look out--this place might be unstoppable. Dinner options may look simple (choose your protein and your style/sides from 4 options), but every bite is a flavor bomb. Porchetta with kimchi? Why not! We tried it, and we loved it. The roasted chicken was delicious too. On one visit, they brought us a dessert on the house. First one's free, but then they hook you. The donut was really, really good. The space is stylish and comfortable. The casual, order-at-the-counter-and-they-bring-it-to-you setup makes it nice for families. There's a patio, so your pooch can join you too. read more
This area is definitely building up. Lots of restaurants and offices around here. Binder seems to be at the base of an office building, I think. Easy to bike to, easy to scooter to, or even walk. It's a chill environment. You order at the counter and grab a seat. The ramen was great, but broth was different. Almost as good as Uncle. The flank steak was tasty, with a slight kick to it. Drinks took a while to get, but we're solid as well. Definitely recommend this place. Solid gluten free options too! read more

This lovely spot is a nearly perfect execution of the latest high-end, fast casual concept. The space is sleek and modern, but comfortable with a number of four-tops, a long communal table, and a large bar, so there is a surprising amount of seating. There's a printed menu on a stand as you enter plus a huge chalkboard menu with the latest items. Many of the pastries and sandwiches are also displayed in a large case with an open kitchen behind it. Everything looks neat, clean, and very appealing. The breakfast sandwiches in the case looked interesting, but we had come for lunch so we passed on those. I ordered the "Oak" meatball sandwich and my friend had a meat and cheese panini. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We interacted with five different staffers and they were all very welcoming and enthusiastic. We ordered at the counter, then continued along the line to the register where we paid and were given a numbered tag to place on our table. Another friendly staffer brought the food to us almost immediately. My meatball sandwich was huge and delicious with really deep, wonderful flavors and on a very tasty Ciabatta (see the photo). My friend's panini looked a little wimpy in comparison, but he said it was very filling. My sandwich made two full meals and I thought it was a very good value for the quality and amount of ingredients. The space is pleasant and light-filled from huge windows facing the street. There is nothing like a local neighborhood restaurant, especially one that delivers high end, well made food in a comfortable almost cafeteria like setting. A couple friends and I met for lunch here yesterday and were all really impressed. The menu is written on a big chalkboard and then you get in line to order. One of my friends had decided on a dish but as soon as she got to the register and saw the salad of the day she quickly changed her mind. The salad of the day had fennel, mixed greens, beets, couscous and cranberries all tossed in a perfect vinaigrette. I think it is a great idea to show the salad and pizza of the day (along with the cookies and pastries) while you are standing in line. Lined up behind the counter are rows of their housemate potato chips. Everything just says comfort and casual but delivers a solid culinary experience. I opted for the blue shrimp sandwich with side salad and I did request a sample of the chips, which they very nicely gave us a small bowl of. One bite of the sandwich and I was in love. It had the perfect sauce, shrimp, avocado ratio. Each bite was packed with a ton of flavor and just a hint of spice. The salad was delicious and the chips were light and delicate with just a hint of an almost BBQ like flavor. My friends enjoyed their salad of the day with shrimp add on and the curry bowl with lamb add on. For dessert we all got something; two of us the butterscotch budino and the third the pumpkin bread pudding. The pudding was insanely smooth and the little scoop of chocolate sorbet was the perfect touch. I personally could have done without the sea salt on top; it was overly salty in certain bites. But overall desserts were a slam dunk too. We also sampled the chocolate chip cookie and apple fritter which were graciously offered to us. The customer service was impeccable as well; although it is casual and you are given a number, the food was brought to our table. Another nice touch was that we ordered desserts and those were delivered at the end of our meal. In short, I am looking forward to trying more of their menu items; they've earned repeat visits! read more
This is a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner location in a hip downtown area. The food is great, they have beer, and you can get even more beer at The Denver Beer Co right across the street! I work nearby and came here for lunch this week. The food was very fast and service was excellent! My chicken banh mi was excellent tasting. My only complaint is that the bread was way too tough. I thought I might chip a tooth... I grew up eating Vietnamese sandwiches and they are not supposed to be so tough. The other aspect is that the food is pricey for what you get... A sandwich and chips for ~$14 after tax! That's not going to break the bank but I didn't get a lobster truffle sandwich...I got a chicken sandwich. So bottom line is, expect to spend some money on some basic food (it's like an upscale and more hip Panera). But you will have a good time and enjoy what they serve. Be sure to check in on Yelp to get a free cookie and 5% cash back! read more

A great order and seat yourself open space with a great outdoor patio for people watching. The menu has a mix of sandwiches, salads, soup, pizza, rotisserie chicken and drinks of course. I had the avocado sweet potato salad and it was fresh and tasty with a peanut Thai dressing. The salad is a generous portion so there was some left over for later. The pizza was a large piece as well and worth a try. Not on my favorite pizza list of Denver, but it hit the spot! Check in and get a free cookie! Always a nice surprise along with the cash back deal. My mimosa got my day started and my fiancé had a yummy earl greyhound.. only downside is that his drink order didn't arrive for 25 minutes. Awesome lunch spot for weekend city exploring! read more

LOOOOVE this place! Perfect for lunch or dinner. So far I've had a few sandwiches and a salad, but I've been meaning to try their soups too. And last time I went I saw that they have a family meal for around $50 that looks fantastic! There were at least three sides and a protein and I saw a family of 5 (two kids) sharing it. I most recently had he Wagyy French dip (incredible) and my friend had the turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich (also incredible). I'm really torn on what their best menu item is. And they have a bar! So feel free to come just for a drink and an app :) read more

Any night I walk home from work I pass the Brider sign and think: "I should go there some time". Tonight I finally made that happen. And the only question I ask is: why have I not stopped here before? I really liked the vibe of this place how you order at the counter and then find a seat. I went with the Brussels sprouts and the lamb harissa sandwich. Oh man: the flavors of both dishes were superb. The sprouts were cooked perfectly and so delicious with the marinade used. The lamb harissa was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. There were so many depths of flavor packed between two slices of bread. And although the ingredients all meshed weltogether you could still taste the individual components: it was seriously delicious. Needless to say: I won't be making the mistake of passing the Brider sign by for months on end again. read more

One of my go-to happy hour spots. Delicious 50-cent sesame wings, always a table available, and that delicious apple kale salad. Props: They were awesome one day when I was torn between my standard apple kale parmesan fiesta and their seasonal salad. Made me a half of each. Plus their sweet potato tots are fun. Critiques: Staff friendliness varies wildly. Some are super kind and helpful. Others seem like they wish you weren't there bothering them. Salads are $1-2 too expensive to be a regular thing for me. read more

As a Platte St resident, I have many options when it comes to eating out. That being said, I come to Brider at least 5 times a week. Quality ingredients, a great food/drink rotation, and the friendliest faces the service industry has to offer. I recommend Brider to all of my friends and colleagues. Anna, Matt and Rob will take great care of you. They will do all they can to make sure you enjoy your meal. Their food and drink recommendations are always on point, and I find myself more often that not just going with whatever they recommend. I'm never disappointed. I highly recommend the OAK meatball sandwich, the wagyu beef french drip, and the rotisserie ramen. During happy hour, $0.50 wings and $2.00 slices of pizza will always hit the spot. Come here for the food, stay for the atmosphere, return for the great service. I rarely give a full 5 stars but Brider is absolutely deserving of the title. read more

they do have breakfast items! available 8am-4pm. i don't see them on the yelp menu but their website shows the options. :)
