One of the best sandwiches I've ever had . I got the tuna Sando . This sandwich was so simple yet so delicious . It had the perfect balance of sweetness from the pickled onions . Savory ness from the bread tuna and the Mayo . The perfect crunch . It was just so good . I did take out so I'm not sure what it's like inside but this sandwich was made with so much love . I didn't even get a pic of the sandwich it was too good lol

Simply an amazing sandwich shop, I mean got love they have basic sandwiches with upgraded flair and flavor. Plus love the menu board that is individually posted on separate pages with very full descriptions. All that aside I got spicy cheesesteak and let me say it lived up to it, with chili's relishes and seasoning, thinly sliced beef and plenty of gooey cheesesteak, with a lot of caramelized onions. Definitely worth a try.

Whether you're making the trip up from the city or you're lucky enough to call Dutchess County home, Beacon Quality Eats is absolutely worth the stop. This spot is serving up some of the best sandwiches in the Hudson Valley--hands down. On a recent visit, I tried the Duck Banh Mi and The Fred--both were phenomenal. The flavors were bold, balanced, and creative, without being overdone. The duck was tender and richly seasoned, and The Fred hit that perfect savory-satisfying spot. And the house-made pastrami? Out. Standing. You can tell it's made with care and quality from the very first bite. The vibe inside matches the food--laid back, cool, and effortlessly inviting. There's fantastic street art on the walls, ceiling, and even in the bathroom, all done by a local artist, which gives the place a unique energy that fits right into Beacon's creative spirit. It's easy to swing by, grab something delicious, and head out to explore the town, or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Great service that is quick and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu. This place isn't just a quick stop--it's a reason to visit Beacon all on its own.

We went with another couple for a weekend trip to Beacon. We picked Beacon because there is good golf (Centennial and Union Vale) and good food in the area, such as the Kitchen Sink Supper Club. To be honest, we were not optimistic when we first sat down because the chef explained that the seasonal tasting would be a "celebration of tomatoes." I had selected this restaurant based on online reviews so I felt horrible because my wife and the other couple do not really like tomatoes. Fortunately for me, they were all willing to give it a shot; although, they did really have a choice since we had to prepay for the meals when we made the reservation. Interestingly enough and fortunately for them, this "celebration of tomatoes" did not mean that every dish was tomato-forward in taste or presentation. In fact, the presence of the tomatoes was barely noticeable in a few dishes such as in the ceviche and the salad. I am usually not a fan of ceviche but I really enjoyed this one because of the corn 3-ways and the scallops. It just goes to show that you should not dismiss this place just because you do not usually like the dishes on their seasonal menu; you should give them a shot. One of the dishes in their regular menu is an MLT: mackerel (!) bacon, tomato and greens on a brioche. Luckily, this was changed that night to a delicious creamy tomato soup. The only thing missing was a grilled cheese sandwich to dip but with so many courses, we were probably better off without it. The stars of the night were the inside out ravioli and the Wagyu beef steak tomato. As the name implies, the tomato sauce was inside the ravioli and it was quite the flavor bomb. The wagyu steak cubs with accompanying tomato cubes were perfectly cooked and so well seasoned, and the cubes complemented each other perfectly. I did not know what to expect from a tomato dessert but as with a couple of other dishes, you could not really tell there were tomatoes in there, which was just fine for my fellow diners because they were tomatoed out at that point.

Went here for Valentine's Day, our first dining out date. I usually cook on this day but decided to venture out and see what's out there. Was intrigued what KSS had to offer and decided to do the chef's tasting menu. They are only open for supper on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The place is intimate and the tasting menu was presented on the table with the optional wine pairing. From the moment we had the first bite, it was just an experience. Bite after bite was a delight for our taste buds. Although the ingredients were familiar, the taste was not. It truly needed the attention of your taste buds to enjoy each bite. You don't know what you don't know and each bite of this course was phenomenal. The pork that was served was a cross breed of an Iberico and Berkshire hog (I was told) from a natural farm. That parsnip puree and its sauce was unlike I've ever tasted. I literally wanted to lick that plate clean. The meat may have been overcooked as it was a little hard to cut into it. If you want to experience a Chef's tasting locally at Beacon, head to their website for reservations and check out the menu.

These folks are artisans of sandos. The Baller is so good. The meatballs are huge and the ricotta is a perfect compliment. The chicken shawarma is filled with juicy chicken, tons of fresh toppings and fresh pita. Super impressed

There's cucumber and tomato salad, there's sausage, there's olives, there's bread, there's butter with honey, tahini with molasses, jam, and there's eggs. My friends and I got the kofta platter and Turkish breakfast with the menemen, which was this interesting tomato and egg dish that was very soft and mildly sweet. The kofta beef meatballs were nice and savory, perfectly paired with the rice and salad. The Turkish breakfast is primarily a lot of cheeses with sauces and small bites with a bread basket - would only recommend if you like different kinds of cheeses and since it is very light on its own it would prob be best to order something in addition to it. My friends and I also tried the salep tea which was this traditional Turkish drink that is very thick and creamy, has a very unique texture with a sweet flavor and cinnamon garnish.

Great spot for lunch!…read more My husband and I stopped in on our way back to our Airbnb after a long morning hike. This place is counter service, so we made our way directly to the register to place our order. Upon ordering, we were warned that it would be at least a 30 minute wait until our food was ready due them being short staffed. Although we were hungry, we weren't in a rush and truly appreciated the heads up! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and WOWZA! The sandwich was HUGE! I took a photo of my Gatorade bottle laying next to it for comparison (haha). I hardly ate half of it because it was so filling, however it was definitely delicious. My husband ordered a sandwich of his own (although I can't remember which one) and he was equally pleased. We also ordered a side of tots which were crispy and salty, just how I like them! My husband and I definitely could've shared one sandwich as we both don't eat a lot in one sitting, so this is something to keep in mind if you're reading this before your first visit here!! The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we chose to sit on the front patio. It was such a lovely atmosphere for lunch! Also, because we were sitting outside, they told us to come back in 30 minutes to check if our order was ready because we wouldn't be able to hear them call our name. All in all, a pleasant experience! Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, especially if you're in the mood for sandwiches.

I had a special risotto - with savory veggies, crunchy crispy onions, cooked al dente - perfect. * We shared the cheesecake which could be delivered gluten free simply omitting the gram cracker sprinkle - creamy cheesy deliciousness. * Our first time hearing the Jack Grace a gentle blend of country, rock, and bossa nova made us fans. But when I want to have an elevated experience with a nod to fine dining, this is my go-to. I always bring friends from out of town here and everyone is impressed. The bartenders make the best martinis and Manhattans you'll find, along with a seasonal cocktail menu that features something for everyone, including mocktails. When I don't want a full dining experience but the hubs and I have a babysitter, we like to sit at the bar for martinis and oysters - SO FRESH! If you don't do oysters, anything on the appetizers list is a wonderful light bite. I don't know what kind of magic the chef uses to make the salads but they are always simple, yet stunning. For dinner, the steak is hard to pass up if you eat red meat. I usually get the single serving NY strip, which is incredible. You can't go wrong. I'm excited to try the porterhouse for 2. My mollusk loving friend raved about the mussels and the fish selection is fantastic. I'm not a big dessert person, but splitting any of the desserts is a treat. Alternatively, the digestif selection doesn't disappoint. The bartenders and bar manager, Nick, are helpful in guiding your taste buds to the right choice. Bud, the owner, whose previous establishments can be read about in some respectfully placed articles around the restaurant, is always accommodating for the busiest place in town. It's nearly impossible to get a seat on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-9, but he will be honest and create a space at one of the little side bar areas if he can. The ambiance is sexy and sophisticated with a touch of whimsy. The toilet paper holder in the restroom always makes me smile (IYKYK). Having been to this restaurant many times, you'll start to see familiar faces as there is now a strong regular crowd. The community and connections that I've found while at Lyonshare have enhanced my experience of living in Beacon. Oh, last thing - brunch is a can't miss, must do culinary event.

However, it was still delicious and satisfying. My husband got the avocado toast which was SUPER filling due to the hummus that was on it. He was only able to finish half of it. We also got a side order of fruit which, to my delight, was a bowl of berries! The fruit is seasonal so the combination might be different depending on what time of year you are visiting. Also, both of our coffees met our standards, which are a bit high these days. So kudos to them on that! The ambiance was absolutely incredible!!! Very well lit with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. Great service and friendly staff at this Sri Lankan restaurant…read more The manager/owner used to be a chef at the UN after traveling the world for various stints after leaving Sri Lanka at age 25. He will fill you with his wealth of knowledge of Sri Lankan food as well as how his food is pure and wholesome. Food was very good. I had Sri Lankan rice entree specialty dish. Except for the the shrimp tasting like dried shrimp - which I hate with a passion the rest of the dish was pretty good. No complaints from my other guests who enjoyed their meals. The dessert was great. They have both vegetarian (including goat, beef, pork, shrimp, squid, and chicken) and non-vegetarian options. It fell short of five stars for two reasons: 1. the dried shrimp or dried fish taste in the dish (shimp, calamari, and chicken); and 2. the moderately high prices (I can only compare to prices at Indian restaurants in the city, and what people are typically paying for the same portion size at casual sit down restaurants) Since we don't frequent this location often it is a treat to stop by every once in awhile and introduce my friends to it. If you are on a budget and consume large volumes of food to be full, this is most likely a one off or a place you may want to skip. Otherwise, enjoy it. On premise parking lot and seems ADA compliant. It looks like it is in a house, but inside it is comfortable and casual. It appears there is allot more local customers than visitors from out of town. The interior plays tourist information on Sri Lanka while the interior is also decorated in culturally appropriate ascents. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and the space was fairly empty - perhaps two other tables occupied. It is in sort of a remote area outside the main drag of Beacon most are familiar with (not within reasonable walking distance). It's worth a try, especially if you are interested in healthier forms of food (ingredients).
