Sampler platter easily shareable by 2 to 3 people.
    Farah K.

From the constant stream of diners its not hard to see this place is popular, so much so people call ahead to see if there is availability (they are first come first serve, no reservations) We were just visiting the main street in Beacon and literally stumbled upon this restaurant. As we had a wedding to attend that evening we decided to share the sampler platter of Palestinian dips and pickles. And even then the serving size was plentiful. The favorite standouts to us were the baba ganoush and the ful- everything was seasoned so well. If you find yourself in Beacon absolutely visit Ziatun. If I ever find myself back I would definitely get one of the lamb dishes as those looked really delicious at the next table over.

OMG, the food at Ziatun was absolutely delicious! We discovered this hidden gem on our way home from the city, and I'm so glad we stopped. If you're looking to try amazing Middle Eastern cuisine, I highly recommend this place. The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. As someone who loves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food, this was such a fantastic find. We'll definitely be coming back!

This was a fantastic meal. We got the futur medley, I highly recommend. It covers with a bunch of different dishes and pita to sample everything. I ordered the shawarma and my partner got the mujaddara, both were some of the best we've had. We'll definitely be coming back when we're craving great Mediterranean food. Inside is quaint, there are 5 tables (mix of 2 and 4 tops) and a bar that seats 4. Service was friendly and quick. Very proud business, love it!

all the meats were so dry and completely unseasoned, which was pretty unacceptable considering the prices were expensive. service wasn't friendly and a bit negligent for our big group (auto gratuity of 20% for groups of four). hummus and fries were good but hard to overcome the rest of the entree experience

Cozy spot for Palestinian eats on Beacon Main Street, portions are decently large -- would recommend family style! The restaurant isn't super large, would recommend putting name down and walking around. Labne, Baba Ganoush, Halloumi and Falafel were clear standouts, everything baseline delicious.

A great spot after a nearby hike. Super flavorful and satisfying. Still thinking about these crispy, well-seasoned za'tar fries! Anything with Lamb is going to be flavorful! We absolute cleared it! Seating is a bit limited, nut the outdoor options aren't too bad if warm outside!

Delicious food! We tried the fries, lentil soup, and wraps. All were fresh and satisfying. If you are looking for excellent food and service, this place is worth stopping at. Prices are reasonable as well. If you sit outside, you get a nice view of the mountains!

From the top, lamb/beef Shawarma, Bamia- Okra Stew, & Falafel w/House Hummus.

I've had better... The space -What looked like the potential to be a hidden gem was just OK. The space is very small, seating maybe 10-12 people total. The food-I already knew what I wanted, falafel, hummus, shawarma & okra stew. The falafel was dense in my opinion, the hummus was average, the okra was good but not great, I liked the flavor of the beef/lamb shawarma but my husband commented it was dry. The rice had cinnamon in it, & at first I didn't mind it but later it seemed to overwhelm the dishes. As far as the presentation everything looked great. Service- There was one person seating, taking orders & manning the register. He was looking on his phone a couple times which isn't a huge deal but when we wanted to order & check out we had to physically go & get him. There are some amazing places in NY to get Lebanese/middle eastern food, this place unfortunately is not one of them.

    Lentil soup

2026 May 10: 1) red lentil soup 2) chicken kebab rice and salad 3) slow roasted lamb rice and salad 4) mint lemonade The lamb is extremely good! Chicken is also very fragrant.

My partner and I journeyed to Beacon from the city for a day trip! Of course we had to enjoy a meal before we left! We heard good things about Ziatun, and since it was off-peak dining hours, we wanted to take our chances given Ziatun is a popular spot. Thankfully a table was open indoors as soon as we arrived! It is a small space with limited tables (even more limited as it gets colder out, since they had some tables outdoors). There were two staff members running the front of house, and were SUPER efficient that I was in awe! We ordered the - Addas soup (red lentil soup) - Falafel mezze - Chicken Shwarma wrap - Kofta burger with za'atar fries We were STUFFED by the end of our meal, but we have no regrets! The soup was delicious and perfect for a brisk fall day. The falafel had a crispy exterior and a good appetizer. Our entrees came out quickly after the apps. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger which came with a TON of fries, so both of us shared those throughout the night. The za'atar fries had a lot of seasoning. I loved my chicken schwarma wrap. The wrap stayed hot the entire meal, which I appreciated. The chicken was seasoned so well, and loved the pickled turnips and pickles in the wrap as well, giving some crunch and vinegar taste that balanced out the rest of the wrap flavors. Despite the restaurant being packed at only 4pm on a Sunday, the staff did an excellent job as they were super friendly, efficient, and attentive to all their customers. Loved my experience dining here!

Really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were friendly and did a good job of managing busy restaurant, which was packed the entire time we were there. The atmosphere is cozy- you feel like you're being welcomed into someone's home. The food was great- well-seasoned and very filling. Recommend: Kofta Burger, Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Falafel, Addas (Lentil) Soup

Food 8/10 It was a 50 minutes wait but in the meantime, we got to explore the town. When we finally got seated, we ordered the chicken shawarma and kofta burger. The chicken shawarma had a nice char, was tender, and tasted so good with hummus and bita. The kofta burger was also quite delicious, their fries had a seasoning that made me actually want to eat fries. Atmosphere 6/10 It felt a bit stuffy inside, but it was also raining that day. The bathroom was too small :( Service 6/10 I know it was only two guys handling all the servers, so totally understand that that was the reason it was a bit slow. They seemed so stressed out so kudos to them for running a restaurant :(

Shawarma with baba ghanouj as base

Went here after a fall festivities day and was in a waitlist for around 45mins. During that time we explored Beacon area. The restaurant sent us a text and when we arrived there was a table waiting for us. the service was awesome very kind and laid back The ambiance is quite cozy and a bit cramped spaces but it works nonetheless. it was nice interior and allure to it. good vibes for sure! For food, we got Mansef and Shawarma with Baba Ganoush as the base. The Mansef was chicken (they ran out of lamb). It was deliciously seasoned and very warm perfect for the season. The shawarma on the other hand was stone cold on the baba ghanoush which was a disappointment. i've had this dish many times before and the protein is usually sizzling hot. it was not that good. At the end we got Black tea and Herbal Mint tea. the black tea was lukewarm while the mint tea was on point. i've had better (kanye shrug) 7/10 B rating

We loved that they had a great variety of options, including many vegetarian options. I went with the egg & cheese sandwich and accidentally ordered it without the greens & sauce (whoops!). However, it was still delicious and satisfying. My husband got the avocado toast which was SUPER filling due to the hummus that was on it. He was only able to finish half of it. We also got a side order of fruit which, to my delight, was a bowl of berries! The fruit is seasonal so the combination might be different depending on what time of year you are visiting. Also, both of our coffees met our standards, which are a bit high these days. So kudos to them on that! The ambiance was absolutely incredible!!! Very well lit with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. We sat near the back of the restaurant (away from all windows), however we still felt like we were being flooded with sunlight. It was wonderful! Definitely recommend coming here to grab breakfast while visiting Beacon!

One of the best dishes they used to have there were spinach and cheese momos, they got rid of it. That dish was also one of the things that made it unique and better than alot of the momo places i have been to. They have the chicken momos, which are decent, the beef one is meh. They also got rid of the mixed momos option. For the mains: Pad gra prao is decent but too salty, spicy but not too spicy. Chicken with chili, it has good heat, but that's all. The flavor is just weird, the chicken is nice and tender, but the sauce tastes weird as if they put too much corn starch in it and mixed in some weird smoke flavor. Not a fan. Overall: may come back in another year to see if they added the spinach and cheese momos back, at the same time, I'm gonna find a new go to place nearby.

They are crazy popular, so there was already a line outside when we arrive 5 minutes before opening on a sunny summer Sunday morning. Wow! That's always a good sign. We waited in line for about 25 minutes total, which wasn't terrible. They have sooo many choices, and we ended up choosing the Strawberry Crumb Cake and the Old Fashioned Chocolate Crumb. The Strawberry one was fluffy and had a jam filling, which was deliciously fruity. The chocolate one was absolutely incredible!! It was a classic "cake donut", meaning that it was super dense in texture. It reminded me of a brownie, however not too overwhelming chocolatey. Even though they say they're open until 3pm, they are clear about being open "until sold out". I asked the guy behind the counter and he said that they will often sell out by 1-2pm in the summer. By 12pm they typically have very limited options left. He also mentioned that the line will often start forming around 9am, a full hour before the place opens. I find that to be a bit extreme... There's very little seating inside (just two small tables), so I highly recommend that you take your donuts to go. If it's a nice day out, walk around the corner and grab a seat at a picnic table! Lastly, they have a huge "WARNING: FOOD ALLERGY" sign on their door that I highly recommend you read if you have any type of food allergies. I like that they're up front about it and suggest you not consume their donuts if you have specific types of allergies. If you're in town visiting, it's definitely worth giving this place a try!

There were only 5 different food stalls plus the ice cream stall in the very front, however only 3 of the food stalls were open at 7pm on a Saturday. This is a small town, so I get it, but I was thoroughly surprised at this because of how crowded the entire town had been all weekend (it was truly the perfect weather to be out here!). The taco food stall had some Mac and cheese that I really wanted, but he was so overwhelmed with making a large order with only one person helping him that he literally told me to come back in 30 minutes to place my order. I ended up ordering the Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwich from the burger place, where the guy (working solo) told me it would take about 30 minutes before it would be ready. We were in no rush, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! The ooey gooey cheese paired with perfectly browned Texas toast satisfied my hunger after a long day of hiking and window shopping. My husband ordered the Paneer Kati Roll + Mango Lassi from the Indian food stall. He liked the roll, however we both decided that the lassi was average at best. Additionally, they served it with ice which was a huge disappointment (**being that my husband is from India, we have standards regarding Indian food). I'm giving 4 stars because the overall atmosphere of this food hall was not the best... Definitely NOT enough seating... They didn't seem to have anyone on staff taking care of the place, so the two tables that were empty when we arrived were extremely dirty (we cleaned one ourselves). They also didn't have napkins readily available and only 2 individual restrooms, despite having a bar in the back. Also, it was SO DARK inside... Scarce lighting which was not very pleasant or welcoming, especially since the sun was shining brightly outside. There is an outdoor patio, which is great, however because the weather was nice it was completely full. Final thoughts: this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner with a group of friends, especially if no one can agree on where to go. There's a variety of options and something for everyone to enjoy!

The Bee's Knees cocktail wasn't for me. It was way too sour. That said, I think that's more on me for ordering it than the drink itself since it's meant to have that flavor profile. The shrimp scampi was easily the best dish we ordered. So good. Make sure to dip the baguette into the buttery shrimp sauce. If you're sharing, I'd recommend ordering extra bread because you'll definitely want it. The garlic parmesan wings were excellent. We also tried the blackberry BBQ wings. I didn't really care for that flavor combination but I'm still glad I gave them a shot. Both flavors had big meaty wings that were cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was really good. Definitely more of an elevated version with a lot going on. I enjoyed it but it was a little too fancy for the kiddo who prefers a simpler mac and cheese. The chicken tenders were very basic and the fries that came with them were pretty weak. We also ordered the garlic parmesan truffle fries which were much better than the regular fries, even if they weren't anything special. The lemonade was also too sour for my taste. We ended up adding sugar ourselves and after that it was much better. Overall, we had a good meal.
