Menu and counter to order at
    Catherine D.

The food was good the atmosphere is a clearly new renovation. They supported local craft beers etc which is cool! The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the turkey panini which was good. My husband ordered the chicken Baja which imo had more flavor and was really good! The fries were a chefs kiss. Personal opinion more so than actual issues with the business: not a big fan of the giant wall of a girl on the toilet. I know it's a style choice but it was a large detractor for me. I also was a bit put off at the open access to the bathroom with a shared sink. A curtain or something to separate it more would have been more appealing to me. The prices were a bit high for us.

Great, casual place to have lunch in this college town. Upon walking in you are given menus and a table number, namely table 9. You make your choice and you go up to the counter plug your order into the computer. Pay your bill and wait for the food to come while partaking in conversation with music background in a very cheery place. We chose to sit inside but there are umbrella tables outdoors. Check out their menu.....though small looks very appetizing. Food and drinks are brought over by staff.

This is a casual dining establishment offering flexibility with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The service model operates on a select-your-table-first basis, after which ordering is done at the main counter. The staff operating the floor and counter were friendly. The menu includes several vegetarian options, and the food prepared was consistently tasty. A self-serve station featuring lemon and cucumber water is available in the main hall. A notable detail of the venue is the restroom, which features distinctive, funky art.

PROS: The food tastes great, loads of seating, prices are good, menu variety is plentiful, and the staff is friendly. Alexa, the counter girl, was very friendly along with the hostess CONS: There's only street parking, it took them a while to make the food. OVERALL: This place is great and I highly recommend it! They even have outside seating

Everytime we return to new Paltz we stop here it's become a running joke. The Baja chicken wrap is phenomenal it is my go to order. Wasn't thrilled about the charges for side sauce and extra pickles. And it's also pretty hot in there.

Stopped at Lola's on our way to the Catskills- great choice! Cozy outside seating. Order inside and the food is ready quickly and brought to you. They are dog friendly so we got to bring our doggo with us. I got the chicken wrap which was just what I was looking for. Crispy and fresh. The grilled chicken wrap was great too. Overall a nice experiences and the menu has something for everyone. Only thing I would add is more coffee options!

I wanna give this place a 3.5. It's not good enough for a 4, not bad enough for a 3. I came for the smores milk shake, I got the Short Rib grilled cheese also. Smores Milk Shake: Very good, toasted marshmallow, chocolate ganache, graham crackers, kit kat, vanilla ice cream. The MVP without a doubt. Super filling. Short Rib grilled cheese: Meh, the cheese was not that gooey, the bread was buttered way too much making it ridiculously oily and the tomato chutney overpowered the flavor of the short rib. I've had better at food trucks. Pass. Overall: If i go back, it will be for their shakes

Made a pitstop on the road and decided to walk in and get lunch. Very cute. The food is made very well at a reasonable price. The server sits you down on the table, gives you the menu and you have to walk back up to the front desk to order and pay. Then they bring your food to the table.

I LOVEEEEEED this place!!! I wish it was in my town . I'd go all of the time!!!! It's so freaking good. The food came out fast and warm! The cookie is high recommendation! Also the inside and outside is cute. I'd so sit there for dinner outside on their deck

I wouldn't call this place a true 3 but more of a 3.5. A nice place to stop for lunch but not somewhere I will go out of my way to go back to. Our group of four came in after hiking nearby and were able to get a table right away which was great. I ordered the chipotle turkey panini and fries, the panini had lots of fresh turkey but I got none of the chipotle. Their peanut noodles are delicious and I was so glad I got to try them. Definitely the winning side over the fries. Our table also ordered the Turkey & Brie panini and the Asian Chicken Salad which was without a doubt the best meal at the table.

Lola is a great staple for lunch when I'm in the New Paltz area. I've dined in a few times but typically pick up to go. Even though the food may travel for a few minutes it never disappoints. For indoor dining the place is cute, and they have also great outdoor seating for the warmer weather. Some of my favorites are their burgers, ahi pita, fried chicken sandwich, turkey and Brie panini and their salads. They also have daily specials. The last time I was there I ordered the Cuban Panini. It was a little dry, so not my favorite dish I've had but still good. The portions are huge especially with the sides. Definitely check out if you're in the area!

The inside of this place is very lax and cute. You sit at a numbered table and go up and order/checkout when you are ready which I really like. Small menu but solid choices. They offer a soup of the day. This is a great choice if you are looking for a quick meal and do not want to wait long. We ate and left before some even got in at the restaurant a few doors down. Chili was on the sweeter side but had enough of a kick to complement it. The steak wrap had a good flavor. I'd definitely go back.

My boyfriend is black and I just wondered if it was a racism thing. I could be wrong but it felt that way since everyone else was white. It happened while I was going to the bathroom at the creepy bus station office next door which you have to go to bc the coffee shop doesn't have one. I got a chocolate croissant which tasted fine but the woman who worked there made me wait a super long time while she and the guy in front of me talked about his dog. There are a lot of coffee shop options in New Paltz so you don't have to go here if you need coffee. I would stay away from this place. I was led astray by a review that said it was good.

Grabbed a Grandma slice from Pasqualle's and a White slice with basil & balsamic drizzle from Rino's, plus some garlic knots because, well, Beast's gotta eat and I was hungry. Pasqualle's: Classic feel, decent crust, but sauce was a bit flat. Solid traditional slice, nothing wild. Rino's: Crust was the star -- nice crust crunch, well-made. Sauce was loose, slightly chunky, and garlicky. White slice had great balance with the balsamic drizzle. Garlic knots from Rino's: Super garlicky in the best way. Both places were clean and roomy, prices were fair. Service was very good. Verdict: Pasqualle's is traditional and safe. Rino's brings more flavor and flair -- and wins this round.

They also have a spacious dining area that, while barebones, is still comfortable if you don't want to take it out. For the kids, we got a couple plain slices and some chicken fingers (for the bipolar three year old who sometimes hates pizza). The chicken fingers weren't anything revolutionary, but they fried them well, just like they did the buffalo wings that my wife was craving. Those were super saucy, but nice and crisp. Reminiscent of Western New York, and that's a compliment. We were also feeling like we needed some greens in our life, so we added a chicken caesar salad. It was better than expected, and hit the spot. Overall, I think pizza is the best choice here (it's in the name after all), but they have some variety if you need more as well. All in all, a very solid place.

As soon as I walked in, the smells and sights of an authentic Italian deli were exactly what you hope for. There is a menu with plenty to choose from and a pastry case that I already know I will be coming back to try next time. I went with the Blue Ribbon panini, and in about ten minutes I had a hefty sandwich wrapped and ready to go. When I sat down to eat and picked it up, it did not disappoint. Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. The next time I am working nearby, I know exactly where I am going, and I will definitely be trying the cannoli and the black and white cookies. 5 out of 5 stars.

It seems like this is something of an institution and even for first-timers like us, it's not hard to see why. It's a European-leaning local deli that is clean, well stocked with interesting goodies, and that's is a cozy dining room in the front end of the shop. The two ladies we interacted with were fairly friendly and helpful, and after an agonising few minutes looking at the menu, we decided on the Polish and Italian sandwiches (vs heroes, which are bigger, cost a bit more, and are served on a roll). What I liked was the fresh tasting pickle that comes with the sandwich. In fact, the pickle may have been my favourite thing, period. The macaroni salad and potato salad were enjoyable if not particularly memorable. Now, the sandwiches. They look great, delicious even. We could tell they were made with care. From the first bite though, so I could think was, why's this SO salty? To this day, we're not sure what the culprit(s) were. Without the saltiness, I think they could have been delicious sandwiches. Perhaps this is how the locals like it. Maybe this is some sort of traditional way to prepare these sandwiches. All I know is that it traumatised my taste buds so much that I didn't have an appetite for another meal for the rest of the day. And of course I was quite thirsty for a few hours afterwards. I hope they keep improving and stay open for many more years.
