Super friendly service! They helped me pick out my breakfast burrito which is delicious. They suggested the hibiscus lemonade which I am truly enjoying. A very good vegan meal!!!

What a gem of a restaurant this is! We finished walking on the River to Ridge Trail and were starving. I had the vegetarian Reuben and it was so delish. The people were so friendly and the atmosphere is eclectic. Def will b back.

Golden Milk Coffee. That's all I have to say. Oh em gee is it delicious!!!! Gluten free wrap, where do they get such a delicious wrap that actually stays together?! This place is adorable, the staff is friendly, the seating is minimal, but it's a Main Street so there are indoor and outdoor options to sit. Stop in if you're in the area, this place is worth it! And the area is adorable and trendy too, plenty of little shops to hit while in town!

Great tiny place for filling vegan meal. We found a little pricey. We ordered hybrid burritos it was delicious. The roasted potato and tofu scramble added a lot of flavor. The another thing we ordered was baked tofu sandwich with avocado. Pesto in the sandwich was amazing. For drinks we ordered freshly squeezed orange juice and mango and ginger smoothie.

Cute little place to grab a healthy bite to eat on the way back from Fleishmanns to NYC.

I have loved this place for years now. Such a wonderful spot with a cozy interior and always friendly staff. The TBTS is probably the best sandwich I've ever had and is consistently amazing. It's worth the detour off the NYS Thruway just to try it- the combo of the tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, and vegan mayo is so insanely good. I haven't even tried their other menu options because I really don't think you can beat this

Mango stinger with spiraling and hemp protein. And berry banana low with spiraling and hemp protein added. Yumm!!

Every single thing is great. I feel like I am thanking my body for life and eating here is rewarding me and ensuring I keep caring for it. Love karma road!

If you are looking for something light after a tiring hike, the one that leaves your stomach unsure that it will accept a heavy or light lunch. Look no further; Blackend tofu, curried zucchini, cucumber salad with dill and tempeh bacon are the perfect things I wish to have after a hike. They are perfectly made, not oily but still flavorful; just the right spice to let the flavors come through. The stomach is happy, a light casual ambiance and no dead animals :)

Then the girl behind him in line ordered an iced mocha and she made it for her. He didn't tell me this until after we got into the car. But if I had known I would not have ordered anything. My boyfriend is black and I just wondered if it was a racism thing. I could be wrong but it felt that way since everyone else was white. It happened while I was going to the bathroom at the creepy bus station office next door which you have to go to bc the coffee shop doesn't have one. I got a chocolate croissant which tasted fine but the woman who worked there made me wait a super long time while she and the guy in front of me talked about his dog. There are a lot of coffee shop options in New Paltz so you don't have to go here if you need coffee. I would stay away from this place. I was led astray by a review that said it was good.

After dinner we were looking for a decent bar to enjoy a quick drink before heading home. This place surpassed our expectations by a mile. Neon lights, edgy signs and the aroma of incense draw you in. The bar keeper greets you under the disco ball. You take a look around, cool clothes and even better decor. The bar is set up with mint infused water and glasses. I love the attention to detail, and anticipation of customer needs. After talking to the bartender; Thomas about their cocktail options, I settled on a draft IPA, although I had my eye on their Filthy Twisted Martini. Thomas described it as breaking all the trad martini rules and it sounded delicious, but he let me know it did have a bit of spice. I couldn't tolerate anymore spice so I decided to try that one another time. My Wife ordered their botanical lemonade, she loved it, describing it as the best lemonade she ever had. Y'all!! It's delicious, a must try, with the option to have it with or without alcohol. We decided to sit on their rooftop patio, people watching and enjoying the cool summer evening. Boy, are there a lot of post-hike options in New Paltz. I stopped by here this past Saturday…read moreafternoon after an 8.7-mile hike in nearby Minnewaska State Park. The weather had been pretty mediocre throughout the day but that clearly hadn't stopped the tourists from invading the downtown area - the place was teeming with people when I came in around 3pmish. I didn't do a ton of research on potential eating spots (a lot of SE Asian eateries, which seemed kind of random?) but picked Lola's because it was a block or two from where I parked, and I immediately imprinted on the Short Rib Grilled Cheese when I saw it on the online menu. Decision made. Since it was starting to get a little nicer out, I would have liked a spot outside in the front patio. But the girl at the check-in (I feel like there's a much better term for that) asked me to go inside, which for sure was a bias against the fact that I was a solo diner. I get it in theory, but it's not fun to get treated like a second-class citizen because you don't have a posse with you in a tourist trap. Regardless, the interior was fine; looked like it had been redone within the last year or so; what it lacked in personality it made up for in terms of overall spiffiness (and the area where the personality DID come through was in the bathroom area, with tongue-in-check "Whatever" gender signs on the doors and edgy art by the sinks. Tell me you're a college town without telling me you're a college town.). The set-up in here is more casual than I assumed; I was told that my table was #10 (the numbers were clearly marked on each table, reminiscent of Smashburger), and that once I decided what I wanted, I needed to go up to the counter to order. Someone WOULD serve the food, but a big chunk of the experience is DIY. I ordered the aforementioned Short Rib Grilled Cheese w/ Fries, along with a Diet Pepsi, and waited. I thought this was pretty inefficient, as there were plenty of employees nearby who easily could have just taken my order at the table instead of having me sit down, then stand up and walk across the restaurant to order, and then sit back down. The wait was a little longer than I would have guessed, just given the straightforward order and casual, almost fast-food style to the business model; it took close to 20 minutes to get my sandwich, I'd guess. Not egregious, and there WERE a number of other customers on the premises as well. The Grilled Cheese was just okay - I tend to grade on a curve after a hike, but I thought it was really drippy/greasy, and I wasn't crazy about the tomato compote it came with (which is a personal palate preference and something that WAS specifically referenced on the menu and I didn't request its exclusion; easy to remove, regardless). The short ribs aspect was unsurprisingly the best part. The fries were decent; a little pale but cooked through. There was a pickle hidden underneath them that was a little emotionally upsetting but it is what it is. This was fine and could have been worse, but the next time I'm in town I'm going to keep walking down the street and trying one of the many other options nearby. The target demo for this feels a little more 2am college student than hungry hiker in the afternoon.
