A very cool place to eat in Fishkill. Located at 1111 Main Street in Fishkill, the name riffs off of numerology; not sure if they intended it as 11, 11 when they named it but it works. Like other dining places, it has a bar on the north side of the restaurant and two rows of tables on the south side. Cushions and chairs are a bit "cozy" but I suppose that vibe contributes to the ersatz atmosphere. Nice for a date, and very kind table service. So quaint! Lovely evening in a warm environment with great food. We happened to go on Restaurant Week, many tasty choices. Our waitress Jennifer was attentive, smiling and professional at all time. Started with the Honey Sirachi calamari and the Chicken Pot stickers ; choice of fried or steam or both, tasty morsels. Our Entrées, Grilled Hanger Steak sliced with mashed potatoes and vegetables both made to perfection, medium rare and well done. Desserts; Yummy Chocolate mousse and a refreshing Limoncello Mascarpone Cake, topped with great coffee. We had a great dinner with awesome service. The reasons for 4 stars vs 5 stars are because: it's on the loud side, the wine list doesn't match the quality of the menu and needs an upgrade-- in fact, the beer list is better than the wine list, and on a Friday or Saturday evening parking is a real challenge. The interior is very nice and traces local Fishkill history. We had a spring roll and the shrimp and lobster bisque, stuffed salmon and rack of lamb and all were perfectly cooked. Hmm, at one time this was our GoTo Place. But it's not the same anymore. The wait staff seem not interested in their jobs. Some come across like they are at working counter at a fast food place and like they are performing a transaction . Others show not interest in making it a pleasant experience for the restaurant's guests. Too bad because the building is nice, the drinks are nice, and food is tasty and good quality. Went in for a Thursday night dinner. The hanger steak was perfectly done and had such an incredible flavor. Two types of potato had just the right consistency and the seasonal veggies were both generous in portion size and cooked exactly right. The martinis I ordered were full glasses and well made. I'll keep this review short, as we passed a single enjoyable hour. This is a fine place to have a drink. The bar is separate from the restaurant and it's downright cozy, perfect for a winter early evening. And they have decent wine by the glass options. The menu, on the other hand, is not progressive enough to include a single vegan option (why not at the very least an Impossible Burger?) So, a throwback to another era, indeed. If burgers, chops and comfort foods are your thing, you'll probably do well here as my good friends recently really enjoyed it. read more

We ate here twice inside of a week. We were actually going to use a gift card at a neighboring restaurant but their kitchen was closed between lunch and dinner and we didn't want to wait. That day I had the Swordfish special with a soy and sesame sauce which was delicious! My wife loved her Skirt Steak with mashed potatoes. She did have to have the potatoes warmed up again but the mgr. graciously took my glass of wine off the bill. Cayla, our server gave us excellent service. We went back a week later for my wife's birthday and had another great meal. I had Shepherd's Pie from the "Comfort Food's" section and my wife had the Hanger Steak. Both were great! They even brought out the dessert with a candle and sang "Happy Birthday" to my wife. I would highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I really want to give this place 2 stars, but I'm being generous and rounding up because our waitress was attentive and helpful, the dim and cozy atmosphere was just right for a date night, and the dessert we had was delicious. But I unfortunately can't say anything else positive about our experience last night. We were there for our wedding anniversary and had high expectations because of positive reviews on Google, but we were very disappointed in the food. We had the caprese appetizer, which would have been good if not for the tiny, hard, colorless tomatoes that had clearly been refrigerated for ages. My husband's short ribs were so full of fat and gristle that they were inedible, and my butternut squash ravioli was meant to come in a brown butter sauce but instead was swimming in a viscous, salty dark brown gravy. I was told it was vegetarian, but I have my doubts. My husband's entree was taken off the bill, but we paid for mine. The caramel apple cake and ice cream was wonderful, but not enough to save the night. $117 (including tip) for two beers each, one appetizer, my ravioli, and coffee and dessert. Lunch includes "handhelds", which are sandwiches that include salmon, chicken, or a crab cake BLT, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a burger. The lunch entrees include penne a la vodka, baby back ribs, chicken cáptese, fish & chips, and lobster mac & cheese. Dinner includes most of the lunch items along with linguine and clams, filet mignon, and NY strip steak. Location/Parking: Eleven 11 is located along Route 52 in the village of Fishkill. From Route 9, the restaurant will be on the right after the church. There is limited street parking on Route 52. For more parking, drive to the municipal lots by going through the alley next to the restaurant. Ordering Experience: The restaurant was fairly empty when my friend and I went for lunch. Service was excellent, prompt, and polite. What I Tried: Chicken Pot Stickers ($9.95) - The dumplings can be ordered steamed or fried - we chose steamed. On the side, there is a soy dipping sauce and a wasabi dipping sauce. The wasabi dipping sauce is well mixed, but be careful if you're not a fan of spice. Dumplings are medium sized and have enough flavor that the sauces aren't necessary. Filling is neither overstuffed nor stingy. Salmon BLT ($11.95) - Yummy sandwich with salmon, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and more. The sandwich comes with your choice of side (salad, fries, or sweet potato fries). All of the greens on the sandwich and in the salad were fresh and crisp. In addition to the namesake items, there was also a generous portion of fresh avocado. The salmon was served on a warm, fluffy roll - I was very pleased with the bread. I thought the salmon could be seasoned more, but overall I enjoyed my sandwich. Verdict: Eleven 11 is a quiet restaurant in Fishkill that deserves more business than it had when I visited. Excellent service and I give a solid four stars for the food. read more

Recently we had lunch with some friends at Eleven Eleven. As usual, the food, drinks and service was excellent. The only problem was when we arrived home we noticed that the check reflected dinner prices rather than lunch prices.
