Jason Patrick's has done it again! Awesome service, Awesome food and Awesome event space. I hosted my niece 's bridal shower at Jason Patrick's and I was delighted! We were so happy with their dedication to detail, awesome cocktails and overall service! If you are having a family gathering or party look no further than Jason Patrick's you won't be disappointed.

Coming here for dinner was a treat since I last came on Mother's Day last year. It was awesome coming for dinner, as we had a buffet severed for an event with a large party. The staff did a wonderful job setting everything up in a timely manner as of course, a reservation was made. It was very convenient for them to have a divider set up, making it feel private so no one would be nosy. Enough food and drinks were provided for everyone's needs and also desserts. Each one of them tasted very good, with the flavor hitting the spot! So many foods I want to try on my next visits. Take advantage of utilizing private events - showing the option of what foods to choose, and the meals served (brunch and dinner). The owner's wife and waitress were very attentive throughout the whole night.

Excellent option with solid cocktail offerings including a peanut butter cup martini that has a hint of Skrewball. The inside has a kind of rustic setting & on Saturday nights can have live music. Their grilled cheese pulled pork came out without falling apart. Their dessert list has respectable sweet tooth delicacies; I recommend their NY Cheesecake. Our server (DT) was very good b/c the restaurant did get busy after 6p - she is to be commended.

Foods good, service is very slow. It was a cold night and it was cold inside. It's a decent last resort.

I visited Lola's Cafe with my sister while walking on the Walkway over the Hudson Trail, in fact, if you're on the trail and go down the staircase that points to downtown Poughkeepsie Lola's is right to your left when you get off the staircase. We ate the autumn, chicken salad, wrap, and the Baja chicken wrap. My sister is gluten-free and was delighted they had menus with their gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. The staff member who took our orders was kind and generous in his service. Interestingly they also sell coffee beans, merch, and to-go foods from their kitchen. On my next visit, I look forward to trying the cheesecake and one of their bowls, paninis, or salads!

You order at the counter and take a seat at the counter or tables. Their menu offers reasonably priced sandwiches, salads, and grab and go baked goods, including separate menus for vegans. We enjoyed the special chicken tzaziki wrap, salmon salad (tender and tasty), the vegan quinoa bowl was ok but a bit small and not too exciting. They also were preparing catering offers and there was a pretty constant stream of customers. The space is rather small but we got there at a good time to find seating. They also have a tap water station. There's only gender neutral bathroom, which makes for a little wait at times. Street parking and a small lot a short walk away.

My order was receiving mixed reviews: the salad I got was very small and the bowl did not allow for mixing, so a messy endeavor at best. The staff is really friendly, so the service hits a five. I'm so glad I found this spot--it was exactly what I needed to reset. Food: 4/5 I ordered an ahi tuna poke bowl and a smoothie, and overall, it hit the mark. The tuna wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still solid--fresh enough and well-balanced with the toppings. The smoothie, though, was delicious. I'd honestly come back just for that alone--it was cooling, clean, and packed with flavor. Atmosphere: 5/5 The interior design here is beautiful--very calm, airy, and just a peaceful place to sit for a bit. It felt like the kind of space where you could relax, journal, or just quietly enjoy a meal without the bustle of a typical café. Really appreciated that. Service & Price: This is more of a counter-service place--order at the front and grab a seat. No complaints there; everything came out pretty quickly and the staff was kind. As far as price goes: yes, it's on the higher end. A bowl + smoothie can easily run you over $30 which feels like a lot when compared to, say, a hearty Italian sandwich around the corner. But I get it--healthy food often just costs more. For me, it was worth it this time around. Overall: If you're in the area and looking to take a break from heavier meals, this is a lovely spot. It's not a cheap bite, but it's fresh, clean, and satisfying. I'll definitely be back for a smoothie if I'm nearby.

We like to travel and like to eat out trying new things. Frustrating that a lot of restaurants in the area serve basic pub food (which is fine, but it gets boring after a while to point of tedium). We ate at Rossi's Deli (awesome) and Crew yesterday. After meeting her friends at P&G's in New Paltz (where else for a bunch of college friends to hang out) , I was really looking forward to non-pub food. We found Farmers and Chefs. A local restaurant with a twist which is what I look for. And they grow and feature mushrooms which is probably one of my favorite ingredients. It was a pleasant atmosphere, spaced out tables, comfortable , light background music . All very pleasant. Our server Cami could not have been nicer or more helpful. She fully understood the menu, was helpful in ordering a half salad for my wife. Service was efficient without being hurried. My Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc wine was superb and worth every bit of the 16 bucks a glass. Generally I noticed the wine list had a small but quality wine by the glass list. They have an extensive list of local brews which I did not try. So far all well deserving of the five stars. So how is the food? We started with Northern Belle Oysters from the Canadian Atlantic. I believe these are actually native to the northwest North American waters but the Atlantic versions had the solid meaty texture of pacific oysters and a hint of the brininess of Atlantic oysters. An interesting and successful melding of the types. The mignonette sauce was a little sweet which actually worked with these oysters when used sparingly. I liked them . They had a special salad tonight of heirloom tomatoes, cucumber , goat cheese, olives in a clean vinaigrette. It was flavorful and the goat cheese was excellent. She had the app Gambas Al Ajillo as her entree (small eater) . Nicley cooked and the shrimp had a strong forward shrimp flavor (cooked with the shells on then shelled post cook? which is how I like to do them). I like my shrimp to taste like shrimp which is so difficult to find these days. The dish might have been lacking a bit in the garlic department but otherwise very good. The accompanying slices of their bread to sop up the garlic/oil/butter sauce was excellent. I debated at some length on my entree. The 50/cut beef and mushroom bolognese looked tempting . A special of squid ink pasta with shrimp, octopus and clams sounded really good as well. But if they grow mushrooms and make goat cheese and pasta let us get right to the point. Mushroom Ravioli with a mushroom, butter, lemon and thyme sauce and balsamic drizzle and more goat cheese. OMG. This was great , really awesome. The pasta was cooked perfectly and both the mushroom filling and the sauces were on their own great. Together thought it was well orchestrated flavor explosion. So glad we found this place.
