After all this time. I just recently discovered this restaurant this week and have eaten from there twice already. First time I ordered take out which made me want to go again. Everything is delicious and the service is awesome. If you're gonna have the dessert, you have to try the Creme Brûlée Cheesecake. Woah!!!!! Definitely gonna gain some weight from this place. So, I had high hopes walking in here from prior reviews and word of mouth. We walked in on a Friday night and was sat immediately. Thats a bonus! Busser brought water right away. Then we waited close to ten minutes before the waitress came for drink orders. We ordered 2 cocktails and the waitress scurried off before I could order an appetizer. Oh well, they lost $. So another close to 10 minutes passes (in a 3/4 empty restaurant) before the drinks come back and we can order entrees. I will say the drinks were excellent! We ordered and waited. The food came out timely. So: I got chicken marsala. The sauce was basically gravy and did not have the classic marsala wine taste. Very disappointed. It came with mashed potatoes which arrived lukewarm. Not cool. My date had a rigatoni dish that had sausage and guanciale. The pasta was borderline Luke warm and the sausage was blazing hot. Not cool. The guanciale was burned. There's no excuse to taste "burn" in a meal. Really not cool. I have to mention that there were 2 tables nearby with 5 people. We watched the meals come out sporadically- people were watching others at the same table eat. Ugh! Thats a pet peeve. All meals should come out at the same time. I also heard a waitress tell some people that came in that there were no menus left they would have to wait. Come on! Over all it wasn't terrible, but definitely not somewhere I would go to again. Between the slow service, lack of opportunity to get an app, the mediocre marsala, and the inconsistent temps, I don't feel bad passing this place up next time I want Italian. Staff friendly and professional. Cozy interior but noisy. Kale salad super fresh and paired nicely with goat cheese and orange slices. Chicken and shrimp dishes tasty and extremely large portions. Kitchen was a little slow but we arrived peak time on Saturday night. read more

My wife and I went there with too other couples recently. Four of us got the steak special and two of us got pasta with shrimp. The food was average at best. The service was poor... one of us ordered a cocktail that was not made correctly and when we brought it to the attention of the waitress she did not know what to do.... We pushed the point with the bartender and she quickly fixed the problem. Our server was not very good and what really aggravated us is when she brought the bill to the table she told us they had applied a 20% tip. A tip is a form of application for the service provided. The amount should be up to the customers discretion.... The experience was not good and none of us will return . There are to many other restaurants around..... read more

8 of us ate at encore on Friday night. we were seated next to a very load table. We said something to the waitress about the incredibly load party next to us. Other customers in the vicinity did also. the load mess of the group continued for 11/2 hours. On the way out I told the owner how disturbing our dinner had been. Her responce was that she can't discipline her customers. 6 loud people interfered with the dinning of 14 other customers. I think she could have attempted to do something read more

Fantastic food! I've been there twice and had their salmon specials both times. For appetizer the octopus that practically melts in your mouth. Wine by the glass, didn't ask brand, but delicious chardonnay. My husband had the Frutti de Mare, delish! Huge shrimp, tons of mussles and other seafood. He chose the white wine/garlic sauce rather than red. The bowl was the size of a canoe! Let's not forget the fabulous dessert, Some ice cream with hard shell chocolate OMG! Dinner at Encore was so good! I had the Jammin Salmon and it was delicious and a great change from the typical dish. My husband had the rigatoni w homemade sausage in a creamy sauce which was outrageously delicious!! Perfect comfort food. The dessert selection was large and our crumb/cheese cake was incredible too! I ordered take out from Encore this week, it was delicious! Even after driving 25 minutes home my food was still piping hot. I ordered the stuffed shrimp Florentine and it was incredible, I'm ready to order it again already. The portions were big and I was able to save half for the next day and get two full meals out of it. The bread was delicious as well and came with butter! read more

Food is delicious and portions are generous. Only giving it 3 stars due to inattentive server and lack of bar stock. This was our 3rd visit since it opened and the servers keep changing and the bar keeps running out of certain items. We'll continue to go because the food is really that good but hope service gets better and more attention is payed to stocking the bar. Anyplace selling alcohol makes money. Great profit margin. We were so looking forward to going to the newly opened Encore Restaurant. The renovation was nicely done. The ambiance very nice including the faux fireplace. We definitely enjoy eating out at our local restaurants and want them to thrive. Our experience was good. We ordered the chicken francese and the shrimp and prosciutto spiedini. We feel these small recommendations would result in large improvements. The bread was warm, that's nice, but a garlic rub on the bread or olive tampenade would have been the bomb. That's italian. The meal. They say you eat with your eyes. The garnishes were lacking on both. My chicken dish had a quarter size section of parsley and was lacking of lemon. Garnish and seasoning, very important. Hospitality. The hostess was fine, but we didn't get a warm welcome feeling. We read the staff was highly trained, but we couldn't get a smile out of server to save our life. Currently it appears you cannot make reservations. We called but only got a recording saying "See you soon". Not good if you have a large party.
