I ordered a large pizza for lunch today with a side order of garlic knots and the garlic knots came to $15! I called back to confirm the price and was told they were $15 and said that is outrageous and all I was told was "yeah okay". Wont me ordering again. Completely insane! read more

Ivana's had the best pizza in New Windsor, however, she sold the restaurant ,and the new owner are very nice people. The pizza is definitely not the same. Pizza has no cheese when you fold the pizza there is no nice string cheese with each bite it mainly dry sauce and bread. Randomly came by for lunch with my son and was pleasantly surprised by how good and 'simple' the food is. We love that it's not over salted and has a clean/pure taste. The place is clean so we were able to enjoy a sit down meal. You can order pizza by the slice as well as larger pies, pastas and sandwiches. Note, try the breakfast pizza! We don't see many places with this and it's great to have in the morning! read more

Pizza is good. A little thick and doughy for my personal liking . Sauce is a little on the bland side. Over priced for the toppings. A large cheese is $14 which is prob avg or just above avg for this area. $2.50 per topping is outrageous. If it was meat I get it. For veggies?! ....robbery! read more

I've eaten here a number of times and I have picked up food to go. Also have lunch here often enough to say that all of the previous reviews are right on the money. Ivana cooks good fresh Italian food that will not disappoint. The Panini selection is great and once you get to know them, it becomes hard to decide because they're all great. Good portion sizes, reasonable prices. The pizza is also a hit. She always offers up some great specials on the blackboard and the price is also listed. Her escarole and beans is just outstanding. That dish alone and some warm bread are heaven. Good mention on the dining room by a previous post. It is one large room but it's comfortable and it's like eating with family (the side of the family that you actually like). Great salad selection also. I've been here a handful of times now since I moved back from Brooklyn a couple months ago. Ivana's is absolutely delicious and such great positive environment. I was told everything was fresh or imported from Italy. Pretty good wine selection too. The price range is more than fair. I've had a lot from the pizza which since I had my family orders to go all the time, to the pasta and fish dishes. Would highly recommend to anyone around the area! Forgot the male server name that always serves my girlfriend and I. The gentlemen with blonde curly hair. He's very friendly and personable. Wish this business the best. We came here tonight because a good friend recommended it highly. Most of us were disappointed. My calamari was overlooked and the red sauce was fairly bland like it could have come out of a can. Another had a pizza which she said was not done enough on top. Another ordered manicotti and said it was very plain and ordinary. Veal Marsala also was very plain. read more

Poor service. Decided to go here on a date with my boyfriend. There was only one table available but it needed to be bussed. The waitress said she'd be with us in just a moment, they just needed to bus the table. She went into the back and stood there chatting with other workers. We stood there for a while while everyone stared at us, including all of the workers. (Yes stood, there was no where to sit even while we waited) You would think that at least one worker would do their job and try to quickly get the table ready. read more

For a small restaurant they served some really good tastes and really reasonable prices. Busy place, but the waitresses made sure they gave everyone attention. Pleasant and efficient. We had two of their nightly specials. Chicken parm with linguini and a salad and Ciopinno with Salad and soup. The Chicken was good and the Cioppinno was off the charts delicious. Second time here and no doubt this is my favorite place to eat in 50 miles. Just left with my wife and daughter and we're all in love. I know everyone makes fried calamari but not like Ivana. We also ordered a pear and fig salad a large apizza and stuffed shrimp over rice. All to die for! Oh I almost forgot the beef barley soup that was so good I almost took a bowl home. Best Italian charming restaurant in New Windsor, Newburgh, Vails Gate, Cornwall... you get the picture :-) I was visiting from California and my sister who lives up the street from Ivana's recommended this place. It was perfect!!!!!! It was so refreshing to see such a charming little place with wonderful delicious authentic fresh Italian food!!!! The portions are HUGE and the service was right on! This place has the best authentic homemade Italian. It's always FRESH prepared to order. Large serving sizes very reasonable prices. We love the eggplant parm- I think her eggplant is the best around. Her chicken Francese is always the best flavors combined with the most tender and fresh chicken, always a delight. My wife and I also love her salads, lots of interesting and different combinations. For example the Fiesta salad is barbequed chicken over greens with black beans, avocado, pepperchinos and onions with a blu cheese dressing. Pizza is great too but this place is much more than a pizza place. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location, this place is beautiful! read more

Such a cute place! I joined a couple here for the first time a few days ago because they said this is their go to place. I really enjoyed it and can see why they frequent there. I ordered a Caprese panini and it was delicious. My friends had dinners. One had a chicken parm and I tasted it and thought the sauce was similar to how my grandmother use to make it. My other friend had the Ivanas salad which was filled with strawberries. Next time I'm ordering that because it looked great. read more
