I grew up in cornwall, and this spot has always been a treasure for the town. NOTE* Prima does not have the best pizza in town, there's several spots I would go to before here (ie. Toscos, Mama Theresa's) but Prima has a charm that other spots simply dont have. Small, decorated with local clipping from the paper and cornwall spirit, it feels like stepping back in time when you eat here. Great little place in Cornwall with good pizza and open on Monday! I love the inside decor and how cute it is. There is a great outdoor patio and a few seating options on the sidewalk to people/car watch. I took the recommendation of our server and got the Thursday app special of meatball sliders and the 3 Amigo's pizza. It was ALL delicious. They were out of the Cab and brought me a Chianti, which wasn't too shabby. They were able to scrounge up.s9me garlic bread, which I had heard was amazing... it was. First time pre-ordering for pickup. The staff was super nice and everything was well packaged and still hot. The hero sandwiches are big. I got the chicken parm, and I was insanely full after finishing it. The Italian sandwich was tasty too, but the chicken parm hit the spot! Nice seeded bread, crispy outside and soft middle. The quotes of the day when this pizza was delivered by FedEx: "this is a first for me" and, "if that really is a pizza in there, I am probably the best paid pizza delivery man ever." Yes. A fresh pizza ready to put in the oven showed up on my doorstep yesterday via FedEx. It was a gift from my mom because I'm always complaining that I can't get any good New York City style pizza here in the cap region. Plus it was Friday and she knows that I will often either order or make pizza on Friday. I have actually heard of Prima because my mom sent a California-based ex-NY-er friend of the family one of their pizzas last year...and he loved it. I'm definitely fatter and happier today thanks to wolfing down much of this pie last night. Tasted like the pizza that I ate all over NYC as a kid. This pie had really good ratios of bread, cheese and sauce. The bread/crust was dense and chewy; I probably could have cooked it a teeny bit longer for more crunch. Thin crust-semolina backed deliciousness. As I said, it's fresh-not frozen! Just pop it in a 400 degree oven and keep an eye on it. Straight from Cornwall, NY. Prima Pizza holds a special place in my family's heart! About 17 years ago, my husband and I used to come here for date nights as cadets. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was always incredible, and the knots! OH the garlic knots! :) Now, every year on Army Navy weekend, we order pizza and garlic knots to be shipped to wherever we live at the time. It's expensive (especially now as a family of five), so we only do it once a year, but it takes us back to one of our favorite places, it allows us to enjoy some REAL pizza wherever we are in the world, and has become a favorite tradition. I will admit that several times in the last few years we've been a little frustrated with service-incorrect orders shipped to us (which was disappointing as we only order once a year and for a specific event), a lost order when we insisted our whole family get Prima's when my sister graduated several years ago, but it's also been a tough few years for family-owned businesses and things happen. We are loyal to Prima's, love the quality of their delicious food, and will always be rooting for them! Looking forward to enjoying some slices and knots this weekend! read more

This was our second visit in 6 months and everything again was above board. This time had the Caprese Sala app. It was double what you'd get where we are from and the same price. Plus the tomatoes and basil were extremely fresh. Tried the Sweeper pizza, however, subbed the meatballs out, whole garlic in. Again, fantastic. Also, a 16" pie really measures more like 20" when you dine in. It was huge, filling and full of flavor. Had the most awesome waitress and her sidekick Sadie...well, Sadie's a bit of a mooch. The guy behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming here, like I was local there often. Ordered a 12-inch seafood medley pizza, 4 garlic knots and combo Italian sub. have say they very though, with my order, since I did not want lettuce, tomato and onion on the sub and size of pizza I wanted. Barely waited and my food was up, the counter guy made sure to ask if I had my full order before leaving and he picked up on I am missing my knots and he quickly grabbed them and give them, really, I have said great service, I could have walked out and missed my food, and he had my back. Also made sure to ask if was interested in sauce for my knots as well, which I did forget. The pizza was generous with seafood and let me say I love the crust they make here, not doughy, but not undercooked, it's like a really good thin crust cooked right to edge of perfection. Garlic knots were alright, not much. now the sandwich, love the bread they use, crunchy, but not too much bread and it's a sesame toasted sub roll, my sub was exactly what I asked for and tasted amazing, very fresh and made with love. Was in the area for the BC vs West Point football game and based on the great reviews decided to give it a try The place is very small but interesting given the 1960s decor and kitchen equipment They were very busy with takeout orders but seemed to be able to handle it despite the tight quarters The menu is extensive and given the size of the kitchen it's hard to believe they can cook all these items with the proper attention I was there with four other guys and we ordered some apps, salads and special pizzas The calamari was just OK and the rollatini didn't have much eggplant The salads were big and fresh but lacked the proper ingredients The pizzas were huge in size and ingredients but the pizza could have been cooked more because the veggies were just sitting on top of the cheese The pizza crust was very thin and couldn't be picked up to eat given the quantity of ingredients Our server Mary was excellent and very friendly and made the experience worthwhile Finally they use thin paper plates and napkins from the dollar store making it hard to cut the pie without cutting through the plate Can't believe anyone would give them 5 stars Plenty of other pizza places in the area to try read more

For some reason pizza sounds good on a Friday. We decided to drop by and check them out. Just a cool and cozy cottage feel with ample seating. Our server was super sweet and helpful. We decided to order a few slices for the children and a small pie for two. We settled on the 3 amigos which had pepperoni, buffalo chicken and ricotta cheese. Can't forget an order of calamari too. I have to say the calamari was mediocre. I wouldn't get it again. The slices however were really good. Our pie was nice and thin. Had a great bite. I wasn't thrilled with the ricotta flavor but the pizza itself was pretty good. They have so many choices and I'll definitely try some of their others. Came here after hiking at Storm King! It was a perfect meal post-hike. Their pizzas were amazing. My friends wanted to get the veggie pizza and my response was "veggie?! really?" and when it came out, my jaw dropped to the floor looking at the amount of veggies on top. It was no longer a pizza. The "Grandpa" was roasted garlic, sausage and mushrooms and I loved both. They are truly magical. French onion soup was also a giant portion, fit for giants like me. Best thing is, they're homemade. Came here for the pizza. Waited almost a half hour to get a burned pizza. Alerted staff and nothing was done about it. Asked for my money back. The refund was refused by manager Mary, saying I would have to come back on Tuesday to speak to the owner who was on vacation. Told her this was not a possibility because I live 30 miles away and that I needed my money back before I left. Mary wanted me to leave with no pizza and no refund. I refused to do so and she instructed staff to call the police. I called the police for her. Mary was rude and confrontational, entering my mothers personal space to speak to her. After visit to USMA, my family and I made a stop at my husband's favorite pizza spot in the area, Prima! We ordered the The Army Black Knight. It's the " USMA" pizza topped with artichokes, blackened chicken, and ranch. We picked this one because my husband was feeling very USMA proud that day. We received a complimentary order of their garlic bread and marinara sauce. I wasn't a fan of the sesame seeds on it (that's just because I don't like sesame bread), but it was good nonetheless and was devoured before the pizza came. The Army Black Knight Pizza: We ordered a large, and large it was! It was huge! We ended up taking a to go box full of what seemed like half of a normal sized pizza. The crust was perfect! It was crispy, not not too crispy that you have a hard time taking a bite. Our one year old with all 4 of his front teeth had no problem biting it, and could chew small bites regardless of not having his molars to chew. The chicken was FULL of flavor. The dry rub was a little spicy, almost on the buffalo side. Perfect with the ranch that was drizzled across the top. The artichokes were cooked perfectly. Although I did hand most of mine off to him (the early pregnancy days didn't like artichokes.) Now to the restaurant itself! This was a super fun place to sit and eat at. We sat outside in their patio area and was not disappointed. We had our two sons (7,1) who were even more entertained because they have such an adorable fairy tree! It was whimsical outside. Inside was just as awesome, full of nicknacks and neon lights. A Pizzaria bursting with personality! The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were super sweet to our boys and the other children at the surrounding tables. Totally a family joint! If you're far away craving their pizza, you can have a pizza shipped to you! Found this place on Yelp after hiking nearby. We were all hungry so we weren't expecting anything amazing, just wanted to fill our stomach. This place was surprisingly good. They're very generous with the servings. We each ordered a homemade soup, but we could've shared it.
