A partially eaten sandwich with lettuce, cheese, and meat, served with waffle fries and ridged potato chips on a metal tray.

Delicious Italian sandwiches here! I was also pleasantly surprised by the architecture inside-- somehow it reminded me of Venice even though I've never been. And I appreciated how nice the staff were throughout my short visit. Sadly I didn't have time to try the gelato or other deserts but hopefully next time. Definitely check it out if you haven't already!

My girlfriend's ravioli in tomato sauce. Despite painful dental problems, she finished her plate! - A white plate contains ravioli in tomato sauce, garnished with a small sprig of parsley, on a wooden table.

My two girlfriends and I were going to go to a nearby restaurant, but they had a 45 minute wait. We asked the hostess if she could recommend a nearby restaurant, and, without hesitation, she said this restaurant was every bit as good as hers. One girlfriend has ravioli in tomato sauce. She requested soft foods as she has severe dental problems. My other girlfriend asked for chicken in cream sauce. I am on a strict low fat, sugar, salt and carbohydrate diet. The chef himself came out to me and said he would have to make changes to the recipe to accommodate my diet. I was OK with the changes, and I had fish. One girlfriend has dessert, and it was a homemade sorbet made with fresh berries. We were all very happy with the ambience and attentive service. We were looking for a restaurant where we could have a conversation, which we did. The restroom was immaculate. This is a restaurant where you would want to celebrate a special occasion. Yes, we will return!

Another amazing dinner! Since the weather has been beautiful, we went for a bite outdoors, overlooking the river. We shared the burrata app, the salad w goat cheese and strawberries, the Scamorza pizza and the lamb bolognese gnocchi special. Once again, it did not disappoint. Husband and wife team are amazing and cannot do enough for you! Service was excellent! Love dining here!

We had intended to visit another waterfront restaurant, but were drawn in by the lovely smells of the wood fired oven. It smelled THAT good. We dined on the patio and enjoyed the lovely views while enjoying very attentive and friendly service. Little toasted bread and oil was plentiful. Salads were creative. Pizzas were smoky and delicious. Desserts were also great with the most wonderful gelato flavors. We will definitely return.

I'll make it short and sweet! Atmosphere-beautiful! Waterfront views that did not disappoint on a beautiful June evening! Service-excellent. We had a very new young server; who was really trying hard. The other waitstaff were supportive and filled any gaps in service. They were amazing!! Food. Meh. Crab cakes were bland and almost all breading. They were very disappointing. The pizzas were good, but not mind-blowing. The crust was very nice and cooked in wood fired oven. The truffle was a bit overpowering on the scamorza and cremini mushroom pizza-and I could've used some red sauce on my sausage pizza . My bf had the lobster bisque. It was a bit floury and bland. Not very flavorful. So, to sum up my review; I'd go back for the atmosphere and excellent service; but the food could use improvement.

Excellent service, very good preparation of food , dessert was exceptional & the atmosphere was very nice . Inside dining was nice. The only thing is the portion of vegetables served with the main entree was small . Just an fyi salads are Ala carte . We are tall people , was a little tight but I always like a little extra room .

This restaurant is amazing. The scenery is beautiful and the view of the water is calming. The food was great and delicious. My fiancé and I cleaned our plates because the food was that good. Both of the fish were cooked to perfection and sangria is a must to order. Can't forget about the service, the ladies made sure we were pleased and happy. Gisel, was amazing she checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. The service was outstanding. I rate this restaurant a 10/10.

I love coming here! Such a great spot on the river front. It is perfect for lunch or a light dinner. A nice casual spot with great service! I have tried a variety of menu items from panninis to focaccia. Everything I've had is enjoyable and fresh. The bread/ dough never disappoints- always perfectly crisp and flavorful. All the meats and cheese used are top quality. The portion sizes are great! I usually have some leftovers to bring home for a snack. They also have a nice selection on beers and wine which pair nicely with the menu offerings. The desserts always look great in the glass window but I have yet to try anything but the gelato- which is creamy and delicious!

Charcuterie (Piatii Facili) & Sangria - A charcuterie platter with various cheeses, sliced meats, and small bowls of sauces is placed on a wooden table, surrounded by bread baskets and glasses of drinks.

This place was AMAZING. We stopped to sit on the patio originally for just a glass of wine or iced coffee while waiting for a lunch reservation. The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive. After viewing their menu we decided on the Piatti Facili (charcuterie plate), sangria, and wine. With a picky 5 year old with us, we saw they had various fruits on the menu and asked if we could have a small dish of apples and strawberries so he could have something to munch on. They exceeded our expectations and made our little guy extremely happy. The fruit dish was also a perfect complement to the charcuterie dish. A seasonal fruit plate would be a PERFECT addition to the menu. Everything was fantastic and we will DEFINITELY be back for a full on meal. We may even come back after lunch for some gelato! A must try.

Light, fresh and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness from the mango. We followed with seared sea scallops with a creamy white wine sauce. The branzino was lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked, moist and flaky! We finished our dinner with classic tiramisu. Rich and creamy! Can't wait to go back for another meal!

This restaurant saved my rear end by letting me know, at 530 pm when I called, that it would accommodate my party by 6 pm. What. A. Gem! I had to shake the owner's hand in gratitude, and, of course, leave a fatter tip. Food was excellent! Every plate seemed to have been thoughtfully put together, with flavor profiles, texture, and temperature just right. Interior ambiance can be quite dark, and those with weaker eyes are encouraged to use a cell phone flashlight to read the menu. The space for our party of 11 felt comfortable and exclusive! We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner and are grateful to the owner along with the team for taking such great care of us. I hope to be back soon.

The chicken parmesan was excellent, but the lasagna was Out of this World amazing, the best I've ever had. Pasta was so silky tasting, light & airy. Perfect. The portion size was also ginormous, but I managed to finish it all ! Loved it. Marinara sauce was also spot on. The bread that came to the table before our meals was superb, and my wife had a sangria with her meal which she enjoyed very much. Came back a few nights later, but this time we had to do a takeout order (our dog had been injured at the farm the day before and we did not want to leave her at the airbnb by herself). So I picked up two entrees -- a shrimp fettuccine alfredo and a salmon dinner. The salmon was first-rate, but the shrimp fettuccine alfredo was clearly the winner tonight, it was fantastic. We appreciate that they did not go overboard with the alfredo sauce (like so many restaurants do), the chef clearly knows how to prepare Italian dishes. We also had a slice of cheesecake and a tiramisu for dessert -- both were stellar, we loved them ! Lombardi's Restaurant in Gardiner, NY is Top Notch in my book. The staff are very friendly & attentive, especially David, he was extremely personable and funny. We live over two hours away in Connecticut, but we plan to come back to Lombardi's in the near future, that's how much we enjoyed our dining experiences there.

We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly by our lovely hostess, and Shaun immediately came over to recite specials and to take our orders. He was attentive and we knew we were in good hands! We started with the Dr. Fox Cocktail: Angostura bitters, Bulleit Rye, Apple Liqueur, Dry Curacao, and Sweet Vermouth, which was perfect. It was accompanied by a hummus trio to spread on the bread. There was also a delicious foccacio. Next we were served a perfect salad, delicately dressed, and what made the salad so delightful was that the lettuce was torn into manageable pieces. A pet peeve of mine is large lettuce leaves that are difficult to wrangle, and this was not the case here. There were also tiny bits of cauliflower that gave the salad a nice texture and crunch.  I had the Stuffed Artichoke and my husband had Shrimp Gamberi on an Arugula salad. Both were substantial and beautifully seasoned. We had two glasses of an Argentine Tomero Malbec. It was a generous pour. For the main course, I had Polla al Limone (Lemon Chicken) over spinach. A simple dish done well. My husband had the Halibut special, a classic Mediterranean baked halibut with tomatoes, capers, and olives. So good that he finished it all...a rarity for him. (The halibut was pricey and it would be appreciated if the price was mentioned when the specials were gone over. Perhaps we should have asked.) We finished with a Sorbetto al Lampone, a tart raspberry sorbet in a dark chocolate shell and sliced.  And as we left, our sweet hostess brought over Lucianno, the most adorable puppy, to send us off with puppy kisses! We definitely will be back...especially for the wild boar ragu over pappadelles. One nitpicking observation. The entrance to the restaurant was a tad shabby. We mistook it for the service entrance. It needs to be spruced up to match the superb food inside!

The pollo al limone and gamberoni e fagioli were good, a little dry but not a deal breaker. Service was nice, the place is pretty casual so I would recommend for a regular casual date night, it's not fine dining--the experience was nice but not luxurious.
