Do not waste your money. Food is not good. Nothing authentic Italian about it- frozen meatballs and crap pasta and sauce. Pasta e fagoli had cut up spaghetti in it and pretty sure it was watered down vodka sauce... maybe 6 beans. Pizza was sad since we were in NY. Food came out an hour after ordering- in bits and pieces. Kids meals came out lasts. The air conditioning started leaking from the ceiling. I absolutely question if they are serve safe certified. This is my 4-5th time here in the last few years. Always a solid choice. Food is always good and service is usually on par. Ambiance is quiet and tranquil. Really can't ask for much more. Prices are regular Italian establishment type. Pizza is decent nice crust, good sauce, and toppings are fresh. Bread is crispy and warm. Pasta fagoli is good, Italian wedding is amazing, and the tortellini en brodo is klller! Deserts haven't partaken...can't seem to get there. read more

Went here to order to go lunch. Staff was very friendly and polite, I made my order and even before asking they told me how long was the wait. That's something I do appreciate a lot, since places you have ask or they tell you a vague idea so if there wrong you don't complain. The grilled rib-eye steak panini was something else, steak was cooked middle well, but seasoned perfectly and I love they got grill marks well without any over charing. Mushroom and onions were cooked on point and very caramelized. Garlic knots were good, like parm and garlic toppings on them and knots themselves were slightly chewy and marinara dipping was nice and smooth. My plain slice pizza was great, not greasy and great cheese to sauce ratio. Such a bummer. We ordered from this place last week- the food wasn't bad. Decided to order again today- and had a completely different experience. As a local small business owner myself, having a meal delivered is sometimes the highlight of our day. Today I ordered the tuna salad lunch special, and the tuna was gross- super fishy, no Mayo, and super late. It was Dry and unappetizing to say the least. The side salad we ordered was a joke. A few pieces of lettuce and and fixings thrown together. We tried to call and let the business know (RESPECTFULLY) and the reply we got from the young lady on the phone was "oh... yeah... sorry about that" No trying to make anything right, just complete disregard and terrible customer service. Enjoyed a delightful lunch at this comfy restaurant while visiting my mom in the area. You can walk in for a slice at the counter, or have table service in the dining room. Decided on a late Saturday lunch and no one was in the dining area so we had the place to ourselves. One server was working between the counter and the dining room and she was delightful - sorry cannot remember her name. My mom loves baked clams and was in awe with the fresh garlic and butter sauce for these babies. last night I picked up the worst dinner from you. I was so surprised. we dine there often. I love your lemon chicken dinner special. I would have come into to dine but I have bronchitis. When I called to place my order, I described exactly what I wanted to the young lady on the phone. She had said it was chicken Francese. I explained it was similar but had mushrooms and the chicken was cut into smaller pieces. After being put on hold several times, she came back said she knew what I wanted and all was good. When I came to pick up my order, questioned the young man who cashed me out because it read "chicken francese". I was told not to worry because it was the lemon chicken. Excellent spot! We were coming back from a ski trip and just wanted a bite to eat, but the dishes here are definitely more than meets the eye! Literally my favorite pizza in all of Newburgh! Came with my usual crew so they could enjoy all it's goodness! We were promptly seated and our drink order was taken. We took a look at the menu and after a few moments decides on 2 personal pizza and a veal dinner. The waiter brought out bread that was warm and soft, followed by a constant stream of refills which was nice to see he was paying attention. The pizza came out first and to our shock for the price was so large. Their personal is the equivalent of a medium size pizza easily one could of fed the table. The Margharitta was superb with the flavor and freshness of ingredients. My chicken Parm Pizza was just as good full of sauce and pieces of chicken they were very generous on the toppings and giving us the pizza straight from the oven. The veal dinner took about another 15 minutes before it came out but arrived to the table pipping hot and it was well received. It was full of flavor and very tender not dry and over-cooked. I would easily recommend this and say it is the best pizza in all of Newburgh! read more

I absolutely must say, easily the second best pizza I have had since moving to NY AND it is less than 5 miles from the crib. I must say, this has been a pretty great experience. My wife and I just wanted dinner out as we both had a pretty day. Didn't expect much as the reviews are just kinda blah. Man were we pleasantly surprised. Extremely nice waiter and he was great with the food recommendations. His only flaw was not convincing us to eat less lol. We had the Shrimp appetizer (don't remember the full name) and the special pizza (loaded) and it was amazing. By the time we finished their bread, the appetizer, and got to the pizza, we only ate 2 slices. Jeez. I must say, side note, their courtesy bread is YUM! fresh and warm. The type of food is pizza but the owners have tried to make this more of a restaurant over the years. I have to say i loved this place when it first opened. There pizza is good. They have everything from plain to seafood style pizzas. Out of all the pizzas i have had,none of the pizzas have lacked cheese or flavor. recently they just re modeled the inside and outside of the building and expanded the dining room area to accommodate more seats.They did a great job with the re model. I do like the pizza here altho there pizza is not my fav in the area, there pizza is consistent. There other food on the other hand is hit or miss. There has been times i have ordered lunch and dinner here and the food is over cooked. I have gotten food that have tasted very bland. For lunch sometimes the food takes a bit. I have also not recieved dressing with my salad before. Another time i was missing a full order. I called them and they told me i could drive back to pick it up haha. so they gave me a credit for the sandwich next time i am in. I travel alot and I have to say there delivery is really good here. Most of the time when i order delivery from here i am in between trips. The food is always really hot oppon arrival. Unlike some of the other delivery places in the area. The price of the food is a few extra dollars than other places around the area. They also charge a $3.00 delivery fee. Overall: there pizza is good They are more expensive than some of the other places around. I would just stick to pizza if you eat here. i will continue to order from villa. Oh how I love this place!! This adorable Italian/ Pizza place has stole my heart! I am so glad it's just a couple miles away from my home. When you walk in- the right side is the kitchen and pizzeria, to the left you have an adorable Italian restaurant! The pizza is great whether you order a specialty pie at your table or picking up a slice to go! I love the margarita pizza and the penne vodka slice the best. The lasagna slice is also pretty good! My all time favorite dish is the penne alla vodka! It is sooo creamy, flavorful, and delicious! Easily one of the best vodka sauce I have ever had- and boy have I eaten A LOT of penne alla vodka! I've also had the chicken franchise which is really good too. I love that they serve a salad before your meal. The Cesar dressing is my fave! You also get soft on the inside crusty on the outside bread with olive oil and a few olives in it. They do an awesome deal on Wednesday's for pasta night! It's all you can eat pasta with a salad and choice of meatball or sausage for around $11. The portions are really nice size. I always leave this place happy and full! I ate a late lunch here yesterday. My husband and I have dined here over the past several years, about every few months or so. Our server, Pastor, was a great waiter. We've been served by him several times before. He's very friendly, funny, attentive and polite. Always prompt service! The restaurant is in a great location at the corners of Route 300 & 32, but it is always quiet in the building, as well as cozy. But the ambiance has a bit of a diner feel to it (just a bit). There are no booths, though, only tables/chairs. There are "soft" alcoholic beverages available (tap beer, wine, etc.) and the food is always very tasty and satisfying. You never leave there feeling hungry and I always have left-overs to bring home. I've never had a complaint about the food quality, the quantity or the presentation. Prices are fairly reasonable and in accord with today's prices for dining out. As the name reveals, the primary style of food served is Italian. The home-made pizzas and all of the various Italian style dishes that we've had over time have all been very good, and are always consistantly prepared. Decided to dine at Villa Italia tonight . There were 4 of us . Let me start by saying When we arrived there was a table of 2 and a table of 8. With 2 waitresses and a busser working . Both tables were finished and just waiting on their checks , leaving just our table . The waitress sat us under a leaking air conditioner leaving the floor wet and drops of water hitting us so we asked to move . She took our drink orders . Took awhile for drinks to come (all soda) asked about bread for the table and was told it was coming. We placed our order and an appetizer of bruschetta. I asked that my granddaughters food be brought out with the appetizer(Kids ziti and meatballs ) After 30 minutes our salads arrived, no bread for the table and no bruschetta and no child's meal. I asked once again where the bread was and if the bruschetta was coming mind you the appetizer always comes before the salad. Was told once again the bread was on its way and so was the bruschetta. We finished our salads. She came back to collect the plates I asked for refills on our drinks and for the third time where the bread for the table and bruschetta was and was told they ran out of bread but that some was just brought in. Not sure if she forgot to place the order or if indeed they ran out of bread and if that were the case why weren't we told from the start instead of waiting (now an hour). And still no child's meal was delivered I reminded her again that my granddaughter has been waiting over an hour and would like her her food to be brought out. We received the bread and the bruschetta at the same time. The bruschetta consisted of chopped tomatoes , alot (overpowering) of garlic and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese But the worst was the oil it that it was so drenched in that the bread was not only soggy but dripping when you picked up a piece , it was disgusting and we sent it back and asked for it to be taken off the bill. Our food finally arrived my niece cannot have garlic she ordered grilled chicken and a side of broccoli and stated to the waitress that it must be Plain . When the food arrived it was loaded with garlic , when we explained to the waitress that it was ordered without garlic the waitress response was " No it was not". My mother ordered stuffed shells and the shelves were so chewy because they were undercooked so she decided not to say anything and just took it home to re-cook them. I ordered a small calzone that never arrived when I asked the waitress she responded that I did not order a calzone. The bill comes and the bruschetta is on there . I told her we would like that removed as we tried to attempt to eat just one piece and sent it back and she said she would have to find out if she could remove it. By then we asked to speak to the owner who never came to the table . The service was horrendous, the food was awful and the kicker was they now charge a fee if you choose to use your credit card ! Usually the fee is incurred by the cost of the meals . I have enclosed a receipt as well as the new fee notice on every menu. It's shocking that they charge $17 for stuffed shells. We had to make a trip to New Windsor and were considering going to Godfather's Pizza just to try the gluten free pizza. The friend we had to visit suggested we try Villa Italia instead, saying his wife also has Celiac Disease and eats here all the time and loves it. The gluten free pizza was not on the menu, so we're glad he told us about it. I ordered a GF pizza and hubby ordered a regular pie for himself. When they came out his definitely "looked" better than mine, but hey, I was going to eat PIZZA again! WOOHOO! The crust on my pizza was ok, I mean it's gluten free so I knew it wasn't going to be wonderful but the sauce they use is REALLY good and so were the toppings. Hubby liked his pizza but had to ask for more sauce as there wasn't a lot on his pizza. We were brought a big bowl of sauce which we both agreed was so good we would have eaten it as soup! We had takeout from there recently. My daughter Paid for it over the phone with her debit card. Food was so so. The horrible thing is that the girl who brought the food, we discovered the next day, printed off a separate, bogus receipt, added a tip to it and signed my daughters name!! That's forgery,theft and falsifying a business record! We have proof as the owner gave us a copy of the bogus receipt thinking it was really my daughters and it wasn't!! Other than reimbursing us the tip that this girl added to the total, nothing was done! In fact the workers, and I assume the owner too, are bad mouthing US, saying it never happened and it was a small mistake! The owner couldn't care less that his worker committed these offenses against a customer and falsified a business record. SHE FORGED MY DAUGHTERS NAME ON A SEPARATE RECEIPT! There's no doubt that this girl has done this before and yet she still works there. An apology from the girl would have been nice. My daughter has to get a new card now as we don't know what happened to the receipt that she actually signed. I have attempted to contact the owner to talk to him about what he is doing or what he said to the girl. He is ignoring me. I told him that a reimbursement for our meal would have been a nice customer relation thing to do, but I hear nothing! Instead he has accused us of taking advantage of the pandemic to extort money out of him by way of a gift card! Disgusting doesn't begin to describe this entire incident! I ordered a carrot cake for my husbands birthday. It was a layered cake. Supposed to be cake layered with frosting. It was mostly cream cheese frosting and very little cake.
