Easy access location. Located in a plaza on 300 across the street from Walmart and Applebees. They say it's replicates a pie from the Bronx --- you can be the judge of that. I'm a Jersey pizza guy. But it definitely was a great pie. They definitely wasn't stingy with the sausage each slice had a decent amount. Service was super quick about 15min wait for a large pizza and some garlic knots. read more

I like this pizzeria a lot. It was one of the first I came to when I moved to the area. The service has ALWAYS been great, everyone in there is always so welcoming and with a smile on their face. The pizza is also really good as are the garlic knots! Also reasonably priced given the cost of everything these days! On my most recent visit, I ordered a pepperoni slice and a chicken slice. staff was pretty quick and though taking my order, and barely waited for my food to go. Meatball slider was very good, I appreciate they are cut in half meatballs then full ones since those are a lot messier to eat, plus the garlic knot it severed in very soft and not overkilled in minced garlic. Grandma slice was great, crust was perfect and not mussy, but wish there was more grated parm and basil on top. Italian combo was great, and the bread used for it was soft, pretty lightly dressed. overall good food here and i found there prices here pretty fair compared to other pizzerias in the area with the same items. read more

I love this sandwich. I wish I had bought two. I also love the eggplant pizza roll thing. And the sausage and pepper roll thing. I heated them up at home and were crispy, cheesy perfection. I had pizza 300 three times already then I would have to say the pizza is phenomenal. I never thought Newburgh Pizza was that good no offense also their service is beyond incredible. They're fast very friendly and they give you exactly which you ordered on time with the smile on their face honestly I would recommend Pizzeria 300 to all the pizza lovers out there. Really good pizza!! I eat pizza every single day, I kid you not! Slice with sausage I got was on point and while it was really good, crisp & tasty it's not the very best I've tasted so I'm rating 4-Stars cause I'm stingy with 5. I've blown past this place probably hundreds of times and I think because of the signage it blends in with the plaza area so it gets lost in the blur you see from the corner of your eye speeding past on route 300 . I'll definitely be grabbing a pie from this place in the future since it's close to home. At the time of this review they have a special $10 large pie after 8pm. I heard about this place from a friend. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I had any questions. I ended up asking a bunch of questions. They have a large display filled with cheesy and meat awesomeness. I landed on a chicken, bacon, ranch slice and a sausage and peppers calzone type thing. They took my order and thru it in the pizza oven. In a few minutes I was handed this box of cheesy, what seemed fresh baked Italian goodness. I ordered it to go but when I took a look and could smell the peppers and bacon I just sat down in the Restauraunt. I asked for some Parmesan and they pulled a chilled shaker out of the fridge. The bacon ranch is ridiculous. There is so much bacon on this baby, one piece was perfect. The sausage pepper contraption was excellent as well. They include this sauce that I highly recommend dipping the crust in. I ended up asking for an additional serving and they just handed it to me. This was a great find and I will be back. I like places like this because you are not expected to tip but the food quality and service is excellent. I will update this review the next time I go. I am back for round two. I forgot to mention the crust. Crispy and light with a nice chew. This is really good true Italian pizza. read more

Have wanted to try the pizza for awhile, but just haven't had the chance to stop in. Tonight was my chance, I had a slice of the Caprese and a cheese slice. The Caprese might be the best slice I've had in a long while. The cheese was average, but it's hard to follow up a Caprese slice with a plain cheese slice, right?! I had looked at reviews and was was unsure what to expect, but I am happy to report the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. I went on a Friday night at 7pm and there were 2 other customers there. The alternate choices all looked delicious: empanadas, beef patties (which the customer ahead of me said were good) and even sliders made with garlic knots as buns!!! I plan to try that next! If you are familiar with Pizza in Naples Italy and you're feeling like you wish you could be there eating pizza, well no need to get on a plane and travel, Pizza 300 is your answer to that desire. The crust on the Grandma pie was crisp, perfect size in height and the mozzarella was fresh and delicious. Also ordered was a sausage and pepper roll that curled my toes. Great non pretentious atmosphere, clean, all the pies offered looked great and made us wish we had the kind of appetite to try them all. We will be back again and again so we can! We are residents of Sullivan County and will definitely make the trip for a great pie like this. read more

Walked in, was not greeted. A young kid behind the counter just stared at me until I nudged my daughter to place her order. I then asked him to let me know when the order was ready as we were eating-in (he never asked), he just nodded. The waitress brought out food, my daughter's meal wasn't even on a plate. Then the real fun came when I tried to get napkins from the dispenser. The napkins wouldn't budge. And rather than help, the my stood behind the counter and watched. It's one of those tall dispensers that gives you one at a time. Another customer even tried to help me. I ended up with pieces. Now to the food. I could almost forgive the service but the pizza is not good. The cheese was too thick and lacked any flavor. There are many other great pizza places in Newburgh, go to them instead of here. read more

Had to go to the bank next door. Went in to Pizza 300 to wait for my ride because it was pouring rain. I got a piece of Grandma's Pizza and a soda. This was the worst Grandma's Pizza I ever had - it was pizza dough and sauce on top ( not even flavorful sauce ) - there was absolutely no cheese at all. Every place I've ever had Grandma's pizza there was some cheese on it - it was so blah - I should have complained and gotten a Sicilian Slice - but the older, short fellow working was a bit of a grump - so I ate part of it. I've had there specialty slices before and they were very good but they need to change their Grandma's pizza. read more

Well one day i walked in the door and my wife asks, "what do ya wanna do for dinner" i had no clue. She tells me she has a coupon for a free large pie with one topping from Pizza 300. Knowing she is the worlds biggest pizza fan(like queen of the fan club) and the fact that its free i said "sure" I called and ordered a large pie with anchovies(i dig those little fishy gems). Drove up to get it, was greeted, pizza was there ready, and coupon honored with zero issues, overall loved the hand to hand experience. Simple, friendly and quick. Now on to the pizza, perfect crust, great sauce, not overally cheesy, not soggy and sloppy at all. Really, really.good pie. Zero complaints and i will definitely be going back read more

Not going back! Thought the menu looked great so I ordered a sausage roll, slice of Sicilian pizza and pasta fagioli (soup) to go. The roll and slice were already cooked and at the counter. The menu and prices were prominently displayed. The guy told me the price and I paid it but thought it was high. Then I looked at the menu again and asked for my receipt. I was charged a dollar more than the menu said for both the roll and soup. When I pointed this out the guy said in his thick Italian accent, "That's awhat the computer asay." I'm Italian btw. When I said that the menu showed different prices he said, "You're nota the first one to say that". Great, whatever. Hope the food is great. The place was almost empty at 4 pm and I was waiting a long time for my order. A guy came in, ordered two slices, they were heated up in the oven, he paid and off he went. I asked about my order and was told it was being worked on. I waited many many more minutes and asked again. I was told something like they are making the soup. Was it a new batch? We're they making it from scratch? I really couldn't understand the guy. As I was waiting I noticed that the same guy who took the order, answered the phone and handled the money then went directly over to press pizza dough into a pan with his hands, WITHOUT WASHING THEM! I live in Arizona and when I go to Mexico I read to make sure that the same person who handles the money is not preparing the food. Sanitary conditions, you know? Now on to the food. The sausage roll was ok. The Sicilian slice was mediocre, bordering on terrible. The crust was burnt. I was really enjoying the pasta fagioli until I found a 3 inch long black hair in it. Yuk! Customer service was poor. Save yourselves the bad experience and go to J & F's on Broadway the next time you are looking for Italian food in Newburgh. UPDATE: An hour later after eating my stomach is not feeling so good. I should report them to the County health Dept. read more

Excellent. These guys can bake! The pizza is great, they bake their own sandwich bread, their garlic knots are awesome -- this is really good dough skillfully handled. If they have the meatball sliders when you're there, treat yourself and have 2 or 3 -- they make them on those awesome garlic knots and they're one of the best things I've ever eaten in a pizza joint. read more

Their Pasta e Fagioli is a very salty, watery tomato sauce with noodles and very few white beans that are undercooked; ended up throwing it away. It would do this place some good if they would just serve the progresso soup version straight from the can. The pizza that I got was also extremely salty and I had to throw it away too. Among the ten intrepid beer drinkers in our party, we ate everything, except for one slice of the veggie pizza. Pies were between $20-25 each but that feels like a reasonable rate these days. Hot, fresh and cheesy...you can't beat that. I'm a Sal's fan.

My party inquired if there is a restroom for patrons' usage whom the male waiter mocked my female friend in a snide condescending tone "NO, there is none you would have to go out to do that!" Consequential, four stars and yes, there is one facility available which is relatively clean. The business name Italian literally translation means "wine repository" or "wine library," describes a local wine shop or wine. At first I thought the AMA sounded similar to AMC Theatres. The waitress was kind to take a group photo. There are no table cloth, but there are individual cloth napkins for linens. When inquiring if the bill can be divided individually our request was blatantly dismissed which ultimately it was entered in one bill for our party of six, totaling $155.70. Price is extortionate high as expected in 2026 economic stagflation era. Business cards are available for grabs. Enoteca AMA serves 12 inch, individual-sized cooked in a imported Italian Pavesi brick hearth wood fired oven which is not stated on their printed menu. Their menu is equivocate to obfuscate as it is not descriptive of the pizza ingredients. It obfuscate as it is not specific and very vague without any details. Perhaps, Enoteca Ama need a copywriter? I am very grateful for this individual 12 inch size as it is not large, but a fairly good size fit for one adult. There are many options for pizzas. I personally find standard cheese pizza to be morbidly boring. The staff and chef or cook is very accommodating with my one person in our party specific dietary request needs of gluten free, vegetarian, no added salt. I requested cold water sustaining my thirst in addition to my libation. We were all satisfied with our respective selection of food and drink. Whereas, customer service including the resonate effects of communication is a different story. Prosciutto pizza $20.00 This was my selected pizza with Prosciutto ham, Stracciatella cheese, and arugula, NY style thin crust. I did not taste any figs. It was heavily topped with arugula which was exceedingly more the amount than average. The slices of cured ham was good. There were minimal tomato sauce. The crust was crispy, but as my standard I choose not to consume the end crust. The olive oil embedded was good. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Luna, Tuscany, Italy (red wine by the glass) $13.00 It is my favorite wine because it is medium-bodied of balanced acidity making it smooth and easy to drink with 13% ABV. At long last, I finally attained by the glass for libation immersed in full enjoyment of this smooth finish red wine. I actually taste the grape. Pizza 300 offers a mediocre slice overall--not bad, but nothing memorable. Service was okay, and the food came out as expected, just lacking standout flavor. The atmosphere is bland and generic, with no real personality. The menu is very standard, pricing is typical for the area, and the shared strip mall parking is convenient.
