From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. This was our second time dining there before a show at the nearby community theater, and clearly they're very accustomed to theater crowds. Before we even mentioned it, our waiter asked if we were heading to the show and paced everything perfectly so we could relax and enjoy our evening without feeling rushed. The restaurant filled up quickly while we were there, and I can absolutely understand why. I'm very glad we made reservations. The food was delicious, portions were just right, and the entire experience felt polished without being pretentious. We had the pizza alla vodka, Quattro fromaggi, polpette, macellaio, aglio epmodori di spinach pizza. The last two were smalls and we enjoyed them the best. The fromaggi was okay but the smoked cheese was overwhelming. We all wished there was a truffle version with cheese. The polpette had onions that could have been softer. The crust was good. Stopped in last night because I was attending an event across the street and I was early. Just thought I'd have a drink and a quick bite. Full disclosure unfamiliar with Patsys, I live in a town that has a Patsys, so I was hopeful that the quality remained the same.. I can happily report that the food was amazing! I ordered a white pizza with spinach and tomato. I only had a 20 minute window to get to work with- the bartender made me a delicious Patsys sour play on a whiskey sour - it was so delicious. I'm sorry I had to leave at 8 o'clock when the event started across the street - because I would've stayed and enjoyed all of my pizza and have another cocktail. I was shocked to find out that the chicken cutlet cost an extra $11. I was not expecting it to be such an up charge and wish they had said that it was going to be so expensive. My friend got the clams and pasta and it was so salty she could not eat it. Staff was very apologetic and took it back / didn't charge her. I was very annoyed with this establishment. I made reservations on line for my wife, son and myself for Mothers day. on went on their site and it said they would be open and I gave my preferred dates and times and they accepted them as no problem. They said they had a table reserved for us. Then i got an email saying the same and thanking us for choosing them. We looked forward to a fine meal expected. Then the day came and we went there and found a good spot to park and went to Patsys front door and it was locked. No lights on inside and we thought we were a few minutes late? My wife is the patient sort and said we should walk around and see if they opened later. That is what we did for the next half hour which by the way was a half hour after our reservation, No Patsy's. We then went around to find some restaurant that was open so we could celebrate the day with a good meal. When we got home I wrote a complaint email to Patsys to let them know how we felt. I got a return email which was short and blunt. No sorrys or explanations. Just a comment. It said call the restaurant and speak to the owner. My first thought was why should I call them?? They already wasted my time once and to perhaps be put on hold waiting to speak to some one there was out of the question. I responded with we would not be back there ever. The situation was beyond rude. If for any reason I was unable to meet a reservation I would call so not to put the restaurant out of sorts. I think we deserved the same curtesy. I can't tell you how much joy finding a Patsy's location in wappingers falls today has brought me. Growing up the harlem location was easily my number 2 pizza spot behind Di Fara's.(when Dom still made the pies) I even worked at the long island location when it still existed. Though that spot was never as good as the OG, it was incredible for L.I. so finding this location today@truly had me elated. This pizza was perfectly thin, with a beautiful char, and exquisite leopard spotting on the under carriage. The sauce to cheese ratio was also again, perfect. The sprinkle of parm added that slight funk that keeps things interesting. Firstly I work in NYC so as soon as I discovered Patsy's was opening a restaurant in Wappingers Falls I almost couldn't contain my excitement. For people that are not familiar with Patsy's they are one of the oldest if not oldest operating Italian restaurant / pizzerias in NYC. They make a thin crust wood fired brick oven pizza that is very highly regarded in NYC for its thin slightly charred crust and overall balance and flavor. That being said I had high expectations for the pizza. They offer other food you'd come to expect from a Italian restaurant / pizzeria, but I was most excited for the pizza. All I will say is the pizza did not disappoint. It had the perfect balance of cheese, sauce and crust. As I said this pizza is wood fired brick oven so there is a slight char to the crust in some portions, which makes the pizza that much more delicious as the crust is thin not doughy and not under cooked like you may come to expect from other normal thicker crust pizzas sometimes. It was flavorful and and the cheese was fresh. I would highly recommend ordering a pie with any meal so you can sample and experience it. I also only gave them a 4 out of 5 stars because I have yet to try any other there other entrees or specialty pizza and I will update my review after I try their other food offerings. read more

And Frank Sinatra playing in the background. linen tablecloth's felt like a welcomed upgrade far from the "take-out" world we've been living in during COVID-19. The restaurant was clean, the walls tastefully appointed with artwork and hundreds of bottles of wine. Tables were available outside as well. MENU: exactly what you would expect from an Italian bistro. Reminds me of a few places in Little Italy, New York City. SERVICE: excellent from start to finish. FOOD: I have allergies so Italian food is not always something I can enjoy out. The chef did a really nice job bringing flavor to each dish. My only complaint was the pizza crust. I felt it was under cooked and could have benefited from a hotter oven to bring on that classic char VALUE: my daughter and I knew we would be taking plenty of leftovers home. Our order was traditional cheese pizza, mushroom/funky pizza with out marinara sauce, and veal piccata which was served with a side of cappellini pasta and red sauce. The bread was fresh. We went to Patsy's to celebrate my daughters birthday. Three in our party had been there previously and raved about it. Maybe last night was just an off night. Everything was on a par with just about any other middle-of-the-road Italian restaurant. The calamari was OK. The baked clams were OK. The chicken parm was OK. The salads though were the high point of the meal and consisted of what seemed to be field greens, arugula and spinach with thinly sliced carrots and red onion tossed with a sweet vinaigrette. Our three veterans also noted that the portion sizes were also smaller than on their previous visits. The caponata infused oil for the bread was tasty but it just made me long for actual caponata. Straight off my daughter said her eggplant pant tasted "like dirt" and asked me to try it to see if it was just her. To me it tasted the way an eggplant smells when it starts to rot and turn brown. It was unmistakeable. I might have given four stars were it not for the hype, the blatantly high prices and the fact that my daughters eggplant did indeed taste like dirt. Even though the pizzas other people got looked good, I doubt I'd return. read more

I ordered from door dash a margarita pie and fried calamari. Surprised when I got my order there was an extra pie ‍. A plain pie maybe someone messed up. On to the food I loved the calamari it seemed fresh and wasn't chewy or hard at all so thumbs up to that. The margarita pie was delicious the pizza dough wasn't to heavy just felt light like I could eat the whole pie and not feel full. The sauce seems made in house. Just an overall great tasting pizza. The bonus plain pie was okay in my opinion nothing to rave about. My dad is the kindest man ever and has been in the restaurant business himself so customer service is extremely important to him. His experience upon arrival was not a good one. He felt ignored. Other patrons arrived after him and were being helped one after another before him. He called me and was questioning if he was at the correct location. I felt the discomfort in his voice. When he got home I asked him if he felt as though he might have been ignored due to his appearance and he said "maybe". I was disappointed. I really do hope it was not the case.
