Are you kidding me!?!?!? I went there on June 30th with a friend. pizza is ok, not worth the $$$ however. long story short - I'm usually very careful about getting my credit card back from the server but a week or more after I realized my credit card was missing. I searched all over the house but couldn't find it. I checked where I used it last and saw it was pizzeria posto but didn't call them to see if it was there assuming they would have called me if they had it. Finally after 1 whole month I decided to call and they had it. I went in to fetch it, the worker there went to get it and he actually said that there was a drawer full of them!! I was aggravated for 2 reasons, 1 - how hard is it for the server to return the card to it's owner in the first place and 2- the workers made absolutely zero effort to use the internet to determine the owner's information to return the card! outrageous! this is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. So if you are missing your credit card and ate at Pizzeria Posto anytime in recent memory call them and see if they have it in that overflowing drawer. Also save your money, go get a Newmans Own frozen pizza from the store, they are almost as good and a quarter of the price! read more

While walking around Eastdale Avenue, we were looking for a place to grab a lunch. We chose to have lunch at Pizzeria Posto. We walked in, were greeted and seated right away. We ordered a hot honey pizza, a margarita pizza, an Arugula Salad and a Mediterranean Salad. The salads were fantastic!! They are also large in size. I tried both salads and I'm not sure I have a favorite. The ingredients were fresh. The margarita pizza was so good! The crust was flavorful and thin. The basil was so fresh. It was a great. The hot honey was good as well. There may have been too much honey on the pizza, but that's just my opinion. I had ordered a coke. It came in a bottle. I did ask for a cup with ice. Just ask I ordered that the waiter quickly said, oh we don't have that here or offer that here. I was so confused. Very. I wondered if this was a really York thing? Or was this because they don't have ice? I have no idea. But that was just so strange. It could be that maybe they only have chilled bottle beverages. One thing that I was not too happy about was when our waiter left to go get coffee at the local cafe near by. We were sitting there waiting for him to come back to get boxes and help us wrap up our lunch. He was MIA, and we as a party of 4 just sat there. All the other staff were in the back area. I could see their reflection from the mirror. Then a female employee was around. So after getting my own boxes but getting up and grabbing them off a cart, we asked her for help. I'd say 20 minutes goes by and our waiter return walking in the front door holding the coffee on a carrier. It looked like he was trying to hide it. So we were not happy with that. Finally tried this place after passing by many times on our trips to Eastdale. The food was fantastic! The menu is a bit limited to 2 appetizers, a handful of salads, and a variety of 9 pizzas, with a greater variety of toppings offered. Yes, it's pricey. You don't go to Eastdale expecting a bargain. When I looked online prior to visiting, it appeared that they also offered some dessert, but I also had absolutely no room left for dessert. Drinks are basic beers/wines and sodas. I would skip the rose next time. I paid $11 for a single glass when a bottle retails for $13.99, but that's true of any restaurant. We started out with the cheese/olives/meat and jam app, which was really plentiful for 3 people. For pizzas, we had the grana Padano pie and added pepperoni and the Hot Honey pie. Both pies were absolutely delicious and were more than enough for two adults and one child. Before ordering, we asked how big the pies are, so they gave us a good estimate. One pie would not have been enough. The pies are bigger than personal sized pizzas, but they are not as large as a typical carry out pizzeria pizza. Overall, the food was really delicious, and the pizzas were perfectly cooked, and the hot honey pie was absolutely fantastic. It was a great mix from the salty meat, the sweet/hot honey and the roasted garlic. When we are in the mood for sit down, slightly more upscale pizza, we will definitely return. read more

We had not been before, but friends said it was good, so we figured why not. We ordered the margherita and mama mia pizzas to share. They were pretty tasty and filling. I mean, I wouldn't go back for it, especially not at $32 for a combination of heat and honey that was, um, not pizza, but am I visiting my resentment at the whole region being bigfooted culinarily and economically on one single establishment? This was our first time eating in this fantastic place. We ordered wood fired pizza and it was delicious. Ambience is a 5, service is at 5, and food is a 5. This place can either be super casual or fancy... whatever you make of it. My family especially loved the 80s playlist as we sung along...lol. Having another location of Posto is a smart idea for anyone in middle Dutchess County. We ordered takeout with a small pie of plain and pepperoni and was asked for salad on top of it. Instead, I wanted to have it on the side just for my choice. The salad has a very strong taste to it, not at a spice level, but more of a sour taste. The pizza though had a wonderful taste, especially the cheese, and the crust had a soft crunchy feel. There's a lot that the menu offers, so many trips will soon come. The interior is very eye appealing to look at and has that Italy feel. Step in for some fun! read more

So happy we tried this place! What a nice addition to Rt. 44 near Adam's. Hubby and I came here at noon on a Saturday for a quick lunch, the place had simple decor but welcoming. We had a Mediterranean salad to start. It was very crispy and fresh, very nice flavors. We shared a Marina pizza, which had various meats with cheese and tomato sauce. The dough was thin, but chewy, very delicate. We really enjoyed everything here ... Will def come back to try the sauceless pizza! read more

This place definitely leaves a lot to be desired. First, the menu is incredibly small. Two apps, about five salads, and like seven pizzas. And each of the pizzas offer nothing special. Just differing combinations of cheese and sauce. And there was a very limited wine and beer selection, no mixed drinks. We tried the caprese salad which was incredibly salty. They poured salt onto the dish and ruined an otherwise very good mozzarella. The pizzas were a reasonable size for two to share, but the crust was way too thin on the bottom. There was a real lack of sauce and cheese which was sad. The crust was actually quite good though. Overall this place feels very uninspired. It is most certainly not living up to the pizzeria part of its name. The number of flavors on the ice cream shop menu across the street probably exceeds the sum total of each unique ingredient stocked in this place. I suppose this would make a good spot for an extremely light lunch or dinner, but if you are looking for a place that offers appetizers, drinks, desserts, or a variety of entrees, this is not the place. You stop here when you want mediocre pizza, share a salad, and have a glass of wine. Very narrow. Also, the server stepped on my friend's foot and refused to acknowledge it. read more

If you like thin crusted pizza, this is the place to go! My friends and I stopped in for lunch and split a margherita pizza which came out super quickly. The sauce was high quality made with San Marzano tomatoes, and the crust was nice and crisp. Great service too. In my opinion, if a restaurant's menu is small, I know they've perfected those recipes and dishes so that it's high quality, so I didn't mind the limited options at all. read more

Beware: A glass of Pinot Noir is $13 and the bottle is $40. Prices were initially not a big deal so we ordered the $40 bottle of Pinot Noir. Came to table with a twist off cap, translucent in color, horrible taste. Clearly not a quality wine. Googled the wine and it was a $5.99 bottle of wine on multiple sites. Made perfect sense since that is exactly how it tasted. I get the whole need for mark up on glasses and bottles at restaurants but this level of mark up and serving such low quality wine was not ok on any level. The pizza is mediocre and overpriced. Will not be back after that. Go to Savona's it is so so much better. read more
