Wonderful service, reasonable prices, and definite pride in their pizzas. Very impressive. I got the wild boar pizza! I really enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and simplicity of good ingredients with good equipment and technique. Nothing was being hidden, instead every component was highlighted. The dough was crispy and just taken from the oven, and the boar was juicy and made the pizza incredibly savory. I would really recommend this place. Lolita's Pizza - Wedding rehearsal dinner! - Salad Near Me - Poughkeepsie, New York

When I found out that Lolita's Pizza was one of the top 100 pizzerias according to Yelp, it was an easy choice to bring ourselves here for dinner. We started with the Apple and Pancetta Arancini, it was a solid option to start our meal. For our mains, we ordered to the Cajun Crab Bucatini given its uniqueness and the Meatball Parm and the Sweet and Spicy Ricotta pizzas. The bucatini had a great balance of the creaminess and Cajun spices, topped with lumps of crab meat that tasted quite fresh. It's definitely a dish I'd recommend. Both pizzas had airy crusts that also had a nice chew to each bite; both options were delicious. We also had some mocktails that were reasonably priced and tasty. The place was on the cozy side, with friendly and prompt service overall, definitely family friendly. If you don't see parking in front, there's plenty of parking on the residential streets near the restaurant. read more

This is solely based on my pickup experience, I have not yet dined in here (although I will!). I ordered a simple New Yorker pizza. It was ready a few minutes early when I came to pick it up, and by the time I got home, it was still fresh and delicious. The cheese was very flavorful, crust was on point with just a bit of char like you'd expect from a wood-fired pizza. All in all, I'm quite happy with my experience. While waiting for the staff to bring out the pizza, I did have a chance to check out the interior a bit. It's a quaint place, but I ran into several servers while there. The bar is fully stocked and it seems like a great place to have dinner. read more

Outstanding experience at Lolita's on Sunday evening. Used the patio as it is pet friendly and received outstanding service from Tori. Promoted the concept and menu and was an absolute pleasure to interact with. Highly recommend! read more

What an incredible experience my husband and I had at Lolita's Restaurant last Sunday! From the moment we arrived, everything about the night was memorable. We were seated in the back near the pizza oven, which ended up being the best seat in the house because we got to meet Austin. He was absolutely fantastic. The energy, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality he brought to the experience made the evening so special. Mike was our server and he was also wonderful, checking in often and making sure everything was perfect. They had unfortunately run out of chicken parmesan, but instead of simply saying it wasn't available, they made it from scratch just for my husband. It was easily one of the best chicken parmesans we have ever had. The sauce was so incredible that we could not stop talking about it. Austin overheard us and, without us even asking, brought over a full bowl of the sauce so we could dip our pizza crust in it. That level of attention and care is something you rarely see. I ordered the New York style pizza and it was absolutely delicious. They use sourdough and King Arthur's flour, and you can truly taste the difference. The flavor and texture were outstanding. When we finished, they asked if we wanted dessert. We were hesitant because we were already so full, but Austin encouraged us to try their vanilla cheesecake and we are so glad he did. It was honestly some of the best cheesecake we have ever had. Between the phenomenal food, the thoughtful service, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere, this place completely exceeded our expectations. Experiences like this are rare and truly special. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend! read more

Lolita's Pizza wants you to have a good time, and you will. The service is spectacular, the drinks are excellent, the energy is the kind of bustling, unpretentious warmth that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The pizza is good. Not great. Good. And that's the thing about Lolita's. Lolita's pizza is good the way a Tuesday night needs pizza to be good. The way your third favorite pizza place is good. The one you never think to mention but always enjoy when you end up there. You will eat it and feel satisfied and not ripped off and not transformed. The restaurant feels like a neighborhood joint that got too good for its own zip code. Lolita's has all of that energy without any of that history. Somewhere, someone sat down and blueprinted exactly what a beloved neighborhood pizza shop is supposed to feel like, then built one. It works. That's the disorienting part, it actually works. Lolita's is like a really good cover band, the kind where the guitarist is technically better than the original and the singer hits every note and you're three songs in before you remember that nobody on that stage wrote any of this. Would I go out of my way to eat here? No. Would I stop in if I was nearby? Without hesitation. There's a fast-disappearing category of restaurant that just gives you a clean, unpretentious hit of food-based dopamine, no reservations, no small plates, no chalkboard menu written in someone's feelings. Lolita's nails that. read more

Found this place after our bike ride on the walkway over the Hudson. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server, Tori was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We started with wings with the wings with the Alabama white sauce on the side. They were very good. My husband had the pepperoni pizza and I had the mushroom pizza. Both were very good. We would definitely come back when in the area. read more

Probably the best kale salad of my life, delicious! Quaint, quality food and friendly staff.

Such a quaint little pizza bistro . Gives a NYC vibe. Small but use there space perfectly Started with their kale caesar salad. Loved it was nice and chopped and dressed just the right amount Ordered a bunch of pizzas. White , sausage and peppers, sopprasatta and cheese . Omg so light and airy and great sauce. We also had arracinhi balls. Super crispy and so cheesy inside. Also ordered a pasta dish. Spicy marinara with bread crumbs on top super fresh homemade. We finished our dinner by a suggestion from our wonderful waitress and ordered a peanut butter and jelly cookie crumb with grape gelato. Really fresh and brings u back in the day . We had a wonderful time last night at Lolitas! We had a kale salad, special broccolini side , chicken parmesan & chicken & asparagus spaghetti! The absolute best pizza around! There are always so many great choices we can never decide on just one thing

Fabulous Pizza and salads. Great casual atmosphere! Get the kale Cesar! We loved it all!

Stumbled upon this place when looking for a pre-Bardavon event meal, and boy were we lucky! Located next-door to Lola, if you blink you will miss Lolita's and then you will be very sad -- because this has got to have been the best thin crust pizza I've had in a very long time. For appetizers, we had the kale caesar salad and Brussels sprouts. I'm not a huge raw kale person, but whether they massaged it for hours or threatened it within an inch of its life, this kale was TENDER. I am a huge Brussels sprouts person, and I loved how these were cooked and all the flavors they added. We were a group of four, so these two together served as great appetizers. We then got and shared 3 pizzas. They are personal pizzas, but unless you're super hungry you can certainly share. I don't know whether my favorite was the margherita or the soppresata, so I'll just say "Yes." The soppresata had a unique flavor, delightfully sweet with a kick that pops up a few seconds after, kind of like those Sour Patch kids commercials. The other pizza was mushroom, which my group loved (I'm not a mushroom person but I believe them!). They have a super creative cocktail menu and more expansive bar than you'd expect from a place that is relatively small. Their on-tap beer is also excellent. If you're unsure about what to eat or drink, be sure to ask the folks who work there -- they are super helpful and knowledgeable. Couldn't have been nicer! Again, it's small and they don't take reservations -- so I'd suggest you try to get there at an off hour if you don't want to wait. People's wait times seemed to be relatively short, but we were lucky to get seated as a group of four right away; it filled up right after. Can't wait to go back! read more

Lolita's Pizza - Yummy wings Alabama bbq wings, also got a NY pie it was delish - Salad Near Me - Poughkeepsie, New York

This place is normally pretty good! Their pizza pasta and alls are pretty solid. But today I got their Alabama BBQ wings and Kale Salad....and it was so underwhelming. Salad was bitter barely any dressing and I asked for chicken cutlet, they gave me ice cold grilled chicken with a weird rub. Sorry, Charlie got a version of this salad that is out of this world compared to this crap. Wings were large but soggy and barely any "Alabama BBQ sauce" it was just an oil. I'd still come back here but never order those two things again lol. read more

During our trip to NYC, we spent one night in Poughkeepsie and decided to go to Lolita's for dinner. The service was very friendly and accommodating; they even allowed us to sample their beers on tap before ordering. The menu isn't very extensive, but we took some time to ask questions and think about what to order and they were very patient with us. The pizza was great and hit the spot for us; we came in very hungry and tired because we had just landed in JFK that morning after a red eye flight. It was the perfect meal to end a long, first day of our trip. We got the white pizza and spicy and sweet ricotta. Loved the garlic taste on the former and the honey on the latter. Pizza crust was chewy without being too soft or too hard. I don't know when I'll be in Poughkeepsie again, but if I am I'll definitely come back here! read more

Lolita's Pizza - White pizza and sweet and spicy ricotta - Salad Near Me - Poughkeepsie, New York

Incredible experience! To start, the staff couldn't have been warmer or more welcoming--they are truly one of the kindest and most accommodating groups of people I've encountered at a restaurant. They allowed me to bring my dog and treated him like a top-priority guest, making sure he was comfortable with water and even bringing out treats. The kale Caesar... let's just say I can't stop thinking about it. Best I've ever had, hands down. The pizza menu has something for everyone. My friend and I each ordered a pie and shared, and they were completely different from each other--both packed with flavor. I absolutely love this place. It's a new favorite, and I would happily drive the hour again just to come back. read more

Stopped for late lunch after Walkover The Hudson. Service was friendly and quick. Mushroom pizza was delicious!

Obsessed with the pizza here. Came in for a quick pizza craving right before they closed but we made it on time to order a delicious sweet and spicy ricotta pizza that was perfectly thin with enough texture, bite and bursts of flavors. The piccante calabrese is for sure what gave it the touch! New favorite pizza Napoletana spot for sure! Best part? They been make their own pasta! This place for sure is a pretty rad pizza spot with cool people working in it that really want to be there to serve you. I love the small amount of tables and intimacy here. Ordered a bloody oaxacan which was just perfect! Can't wait to be back for more pizza. read more

Lolita's is the best pizza joint that we've found around this area. And, at one point Yelp anointed this place a "Top 100" Pizza spots in North America, so my opinion doesn't stand alone. Because parking can be a little tricky, let me offer a tip on that first. My advice is to park at the parking lot on Washington street where a lot of people park for the Walkway Over the Hudson, by the Pulaski Park Pool. It's only about a block or two from there. Both times we visited Lolita's we were served by friendly Tori, who gave us good advice on our pizza options. Their pies are Neapolitan style, wood-fired, and downright delicious. We've tried 4 of the pizzas, and all of them have been excellent. I'm partial to the White, which includes garlic cream, mozzarella, basil, a touch of lemon, and romano cheese. That is my top recommendation, and is an interesting non-tomato sauce variant. If meat is more your thing, I was a fan of the Sausage & Pepper option too. It's a cozy little place and feels very inviting and comfortable. While we didn't sample the salads or pastas, they did look appetizing from afar, so may have to be our selection on the next visit. But man, it's not going to be easy to pass up those yummy pizzas. Definitely a top recommendation in this area. read more

Everything on the menu was wonderful, but the gentleman who seemed to be the manager or owner was truly exceptional in the way he treated the customers -- so kind and gracious. Service was great. Pizza was amazing. And the arancini with Granny Smith apples and pancetta were unforgettable!

Great pizza, great bar. It was busy but they did everything to make us welcome. Would definitely go back again.

Stopped by here just randomly on the way from Hudson Sports Dome, and oh boy am I happy we did! Amazing food, amazing service, great cozy atmosphere. Everything we got from cocktails, mocktails, pizza, food and dessert was top notch- creative, different but homemade cozy and so delicious! Starry night mocktails with edible glitter were a hit with the kids! Champagne toast cocktail refreshing yet full bodied and fruity. Kale Caesar- amazing! Like no other Caesar I've had before and pretty large. Boys got the classics- pepperoni and New Yorker Pizza. Both were really good, and with a perfect combo of topping to dough. Wild boar gnocchi was delicious, not gamy at all, and had. Such a great combo of tastes and textures. We wound up trying all the desserts! Pb&J was unbelievable! Decomposed cheese cake was delicious, and zeppole were really good too! Highly recommend!! read more

Wow, wow, this is a gem in Poughkeepsie. Appetizers - Fantastic, Pizzas - Fantastic, Pasta - fantastic. You really cannot go wrong anywhere on Lolita's menu. This review will span three trips, yes, it was that good. I went a couple of times with my daughter, and another time with my girlfriend and my other daughter. Important to note, my girlfriend is Sicilian so expectations are high. Servers are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The wood roasted olives are delicious, watch out for the pits, but these are a really nice treat. Brussels sprouts are addictive....sooo delicious. The Mac and Cheese is some of the best we've had. The pizzas...well, literally they are all really good. The New Yorker, White, and Mushroom stand out as some of the tastiest. Sad to say we haven't had any room for dessert, but by judging the rest of the menu, the desserts are likely just as good. Lolita's deserves all the success, it's obvious the owners and staff care and go the extra mile to make sure the food they serve is top notch. read more

A must visit and a must revisit! Great food, great drinks and even better service! 10 out of 10!

We were coming off the rail-trail and about ready to head up to Syracuse to catch a flight back to the Bay Area when my wife suggested we grab something to eat before we get in the car. Saw this place and thought let's give it a shot, looks fun. Oh my God, did we stumble upon some of the best pizza and the greatest hospitality we've had in a long time. Super friendly staff, overly accommodating, and the pizza and kale salad were killer. I'm from the Bay Area where food is legit, and I can confidently say I would take this pizza up against any out there. No algorithm sent me here. Just the good vibes! - Jim, SF, CA read more

After a nice vigorous walk over the Hudson River, my partner, his family and I worked up an appetite. I had recalled someone mentioning this establishment from our last visit 2 years ago. Formerly the site of Crave Restaurant & Lounge, it was very easy to find as one goes down the staircase on the east entrance of the walkway. Lolita's Pizza is quaint and welcoming, located on Washington Street in Poughkeepsie. Upon entering as first-timers, we were greeted by the staff as the restaurant was busy. Bowls scattered throughout the length of the wall on the right with a rustic/minimalist vibe. Since we didn't have reservations, a table was available on their outside patio under cover for us. The menu was limited. As starters, we decided on the arancini (crispy fried risotto balls). As our entrees, we opted for Chicken Bruschetta Pizza, Tomato & Corn Pizza, Mac & Cheese and Gemelli (hazelnut arugula pesto, whipped ricotta, basil grana padano) with Burrata on the side. The arancini were so tasty and crunchy with a slight kick. The firewood pizzas were personal size and cooked to perfection with a little bit of char on the edges. High-end food quality was brought out pretty fast and tasted delicious. The portions were huge, so we took them home for another meal. Our servers Cody and Terry were super friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Overall, if you're looking for great vibes and amazing food, this is the place that we can recommend. read more
