4-17-26. I had an errand to run in the area and a quick Yelp search revealed this place. Pizza Margarita is located in a strip mall and there's plenty of parking available. I ordered a chicken fajita slice and a regular slice. I consume quite a bit of pizza and I love different specialty slices ...... and that's the first time I've ever seen a chicken fajita slice. It was really good......and very filling. The slices are pretty big and there's a great selection to choose from. Plenty of rolls and calzones as well. Good amount of tables inside and if the weather is nice you can also eat outside. Staff was excellent. They are very friendly and accommodating. If I'm ever back in the neighborhood I certainly wouldn't mind returning to try some other items. read more

Pizza Margarita - Stopped in for a quick slice or two. - Pizza Near Me - Poughkeepsie, New York

stopped by Pizza Margarita for a quick dinner, and the experience was a mixed bag. The pizza itself was alright--decent crust, sauce with a good tang, and a generous amount of cheese, but nothing that'll blow your mind. The toppings were fresh, though the pepperoni was a bit greasy for my taste. It's solid for a casual meal, but don't expect gourmet. The service, however, left something to be desired. The staff seemed distracted, and while they got the order out quickly, things got weird when I paid in cash. Twice now, they've given me back more change than I was owed--like, significantly more. It's almost as if they're paying me to eat there! I pointed it out once, but they just shrugged it off. It's a bizarre quirk, but I'd recommend using a card to avoid the awkwardness. The ambiance is cozy but a bit dated. The lighting's dim, which is nice, but the tables were a little sticky, and the place could use a refresh. It's not bad, just not particularly memorable. Overall, Pizza margarita is fine for a low-key pizza night if you're in the area. Just don't expect stellar service, and maybe double-check your change. 3/5 stars. read more

Stopped in for a quick dinner and got the Chicken Marsala pizza, delish! There's plenty to choose from here and it all looks amazing. Service was friendly and fast. There's seating inside and a couple of tables outside which gives options. All over a great place that I highly recommend. read more

Generally very good, but uneven. While we usually like it, last night the sauce was not good and the soup was so salty that I threw it out. We're used to pizza from Brooklyn (which we all know is the best ever). The pizza here is not THAT good, that is better than we've had in the area since moving here a few years ago. read more

Went to this place, cuz the pizza is decent. Ordered a large pie, half anchovies and fresh garlic, half plain. Got a whole garlic and anchovies pizza, ok......also fine. GOT CHARGED 6.24 FOR GARLIC !!!! 4.00 for anchovies which is typlical. The garlic was typed as fresh mozzarella, I actually went back thinking they just charged me for the fresh mozz, BUT NOPE. 6.24 FIR FREAKING GARLIC. NEVERRRRRRRR GOING BACK, read more

Anyone who is looking for tasty pizza and other dishes, welcome aboard. My first experience was definitely an awesome one, as I've heard about this business awhile back, but just haven't had the chance of making it over. A lot of preheated pizza topics are located at the counter, along with chicken rolls as well. I've never seen a big selection of so many, an eye candy for sure and many to take in. For pizza lovers, decision making is always the fun part, you think?! The pizzas are thin crust, and pretty big in size with nice chewy and crunchy taste. The Margarita and BBQ Ranch got my attention, lots of flavor and fun. Of course, pleny more topics and dishes to choose from. Something that caught my attention is the amount of space, especially when it gets busy in line and there isn't enough room to wait aside. It would be great to add additional space to not cause congestion. Team members were thriving, and more is to come. read more

OK. I am a pizza snob because I was born in Brooklyn and raised in the city. So I know a thing or two about cheap pizza and good pizza. I'm surprised how good this place is ! I'm a pure and I don't like peanut butter im my cheesecake berries in my cookies or anything weird. I like pure unadulterated. however their selection selection is wide, and all of their crust are perfect. I couldn't believe how good their Sicilian was. Highly recommend. read more

On an ordinary day I'd give this place five stars ... it's one of our favorites for Italian dinners. The portions are generous and the food delicious. However we recently ordered the carbonara, and while the mistake was mine, I wanted to write the review for other diners. Tortellini carbonara sounded awesome, so my niece and I decided to split the dinner - we were trying to be sensible! The problem was that I did not read the description which did indeed say tortellini tossed with mushrooms, pancetta, onions, broccoli, shrimp in a cream sauce. I know carbonara to be a much simpler dish made with egg, cheese, pancetta and lots of pepper. Needless to say we were disappointed, but again it was my own fault. Read the menu carefully! What you know as a traditional dish may be made differently here. read more

Great Hugh cheese Calzone with sauce on the side! Large enough for two people or major leftovers. French Fries we're good,. Service was very friendly and even nicer if you spoke Spanish. I want to come back and try so many things on the menu especially the pizza. Wish they made a Chicago Style pizza pie deep dish. I'll come back here(!6 read more

My 4 yr old daughter and I stopped in here for a quick lunch. The place was empty as it was before noon. They just made fresh pies so we got 2 plain pizza by the slice ($2.50/slice). The cut was generous and flavor was good. The owners were super nice and we learned that they just opened 6 months ago. We also got the rice pudding to go. It was yummy! For a quick lunch place, Mario's totally served its purpose and more. I would definitely come back again as I want to try their fresh pasta! read more

Pizza Margarita - A perfect slice. - Pizza Near Me - Poughkeepsie, New York

I love the thin crust pizza. I'm working my way through the menu. So far everything is great.

Wide variety of individual slices every time you go in. Staff is pleasant. Seating inside and a few tables outside.

We get take out from this pizza place at least once a week for the last 4 or 5 months. Usually a combination of slices and sandwiches or pies and sandwiches. So far we have never had a bad or even a sub standard batch. The pizza has a rich taste with plenty of sauce, cheese and toppings and the slices are huge. Not like the doughey dry pies or slices you get in most pizza joints. The sandwiches are superb and over stuffed. My favorite is sausage, peppers, onions with parm. Great taste, ingredients are moist and sausage is sliced in sizeable junks instead of pathetic coin pieces. This is a busy place but take out orders take about 5 to 20 minutes to prepare (not at all bad). As far as I know they do not deliver. That's ok with me. I don't like ice cold delivered food that takes an hour or more to get to you. The staff here is friendly and efficient to the point where we have had no delays in order prep and after dozens of take outs, there have been no errors. What we ordered is always there (no matter how large an order) and prepared correctly. I can certainly recomend this place if you're looking for the cut above pizza and sandwiches. The folks at home love it, the kids and grandkids love it and even the dog loves this stuff. You can't beat that- human and canine approved! read more

OMG, this place is AMAZING!!!!!! I live about 9 miles away, so delivery is not an option for me, I also live where there is 15+ pizza/Italian Restaurants in a 5 mile radius, and I go to Pizza Margaritas!!!!! There pizza is the best around, dinners are great too, I love their eggplant rollatini, chicken parm dinners are to die for! Wedges are great, the bread is superb, and the best around meatballs you can find!!!!! My also go-to is the white pizza with broccoli!! I have never been disappointed, service is friendly, accommodating!!!!! Always greeted by a smile when you walk-in! read more

I mean, way better than I expected!!! We did not have high expectations - just thinking that we'd get typical strip-mall pizza. Was I surprised! Really nice crust, thin and crispy (but definitely still plenty of chew to it), and thoughtful, tasty topping combos. Plus, they will make pies in 10", 14", and 16" varieties - very helpful for when you don't want to have the same stuff as the kids!!! We ordered two 14"s - one with sausage and onion, the other a white pie with fried eggplant. Both were terrific. And super economical as well. Will not hesitate to funnel a significant chunk of my takeout business to P.M.! read more

This is officially my favorite pizzeria. The staff was so friendly and so were the other customers. I am a pizza enthusiast from NYC. I've had all the dollar pizzas, the Joe's, prince St., any pizza you can imagine in the city. My favorite was once cold spring pizza near bear mountain. This place is even better. Variety of slices. They're thin, crispy, full of flavor. I had the regular slice, meat lovers and the margherita slice. Let me start with the original slice. This is as Dave Portnoy would call it the golden slice. You judge a place by how they make a classic. And this place does not disappoint. Again, thin, crispy, no flop and maintains the classic regular pizza slice flavor. Texture is a big thing for me. I'm not into the doughy, thick breaded pizzas. I like thin, crispy and a regular sized NY slice. Next up was the margherita slice. The thing with margherita pizza, it's best when made to order because of the cheese. If you leave it out and the cheese turns cold, even reheating it won't save the texture of the cheese. Nonetheless, it was still delicious and it maintain the class in margherita taste with the basil and the sauce. Lastly, I had the meat lovers slice. Bacon, sausage and pepperoni. What more do I need to say? It was heavy but so good. My goto at specialty pizzerias would be the meat lovers but I opted to get others to try because I'm from the city and not in the area often. Overall, this is probably my new favorite pizza joint. read more

We decided to go for dinner to a little late this evening, but we made a great choice. Service was great the restaurant is clean and the food was really very good at Mario's. One of my nephews ordered a slice of pizza, fried calamari and mozzarella sticks... The mozzarella sticks are made in house and they tell me they were amazing. The calamari was delicious and he told me the pizza was great, too I didn't get a taste of that either, but it looked good! The other dishes we ordered were chicken parm, eggplant parm and a chicken egg plant parm - all delicious and very satisfying. The portions were very large and even the sides were good! My older nephew ordered penne Bolognese for his side and my sister and I each opted for the broccoli with garlic in oil. I hate to admit this, but it was better than my own. Three of us started the meal with a nice-sized salad: leafy greens, carrots, red onions, olives, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. To wrap this up, we'll definitely be back! Ps Don't let the construction out front keep you from going in! read more
