Jumped in here for a quick slice. Friendly staff, super clean, and the pizza I'd BOMB! I'm hard to please when it comes to pizza, but I walked outta here satisfied and can't wait to go back and try some other items on the menu. The slice was big and came on a metal tray - no waste!

The other night we got pizza and a salad, got a chicken parm pie which was good they didn't skimp out on the toppings at all. We also got a cheese pizza due to them not having pepperoni, the kids said the pie was a little greasy but they still ate it I haven't tried it yet. We also got a buffalo chicken salad and asked for no cheese which it was a healthy amount of cheese on there which means we had to pluck out a lot of the cheese. But the chicken was fresh and good. The service was nice and pleasant. I do look forward to trying a chicken parm wedge next time

Oh em em em geeeee! This Pizza is the real deal!! Fresh, hot and delicious!! Ram greeted us with a friendly smile. The restaurant is clean. Hands down; next time I'm in town I will be stopping by to try some other entrees

Nothing bad to say about this restaurant! The staff, especially the man who made our food and brought it to us was so nice! Really, really pleasant experience! The food was really good! We had a cheese pizza and a house salad, all of the produce tasted very fresh. The ranch was good, and a little sweet! Only con, after we ordered our pizza the lady left to start making it and we were a little confused about what to do...so we chose to sit down even though we weren't done ordering. Definitely would eat this pizza again though!

I'm sure happy my other local pizza parlors phone was busy. This lead me to order from Rosie's! Its the best grandma pie I've had in a long time. Easy pleasy...

Wow what an amazing little pizza resto this turned out to be. The owner has won awards for his pizza in the Hudson River Valley area for several years and I certainly know why. How does a man from Kosovo excel in a cuisine not his own, pure passion, a unique gifting and the sheer joy of loving what he does. From his take on Waldorf Salad, fresh as could be ingredients an incredibly well balanced balsamic vinaigrette this salad blew us away. We had to try several slices of his award winning pizza as an app to see what all the fuss was about. At first bite of his plain cheese pizza you know immediately why he has consistently won best pizza in the Valley area. I mean this is pure pizza magic that probably dwarfs anything you have experienced. The harmony of flavors from crust, sauce to mozzarella is a culinary symphony which you should not miss if you are ever in that area. The carbonara was more like an Alfredo but it was nicely done, very large for a luncheon portion. For me the dish would have benefited from a contrasting goat cheese in addition to the parmesan, however; that's just my personal preference. Rosie's is truly an off the grid, under the radar, hidden little restaurant gem; you should most definitely give them a try if you find yourself in the area. Great prices, great food; wonderful service and exceptional hospitality awaits your visit.

Gluten-free elbows. I have another portion to go.

Was here recently for a group outing and while the food was mostly good, it doesn't rise to the level of other local Italian restaurants. Service was slow which is fine, but it seemed they just didn't have enough staff on hand to handle the pre-booked parties. Which was odd. Antipasto was great, and calamari was pretty good. But it is that attention to detail that separates a 3 from a 5 in restaurant land. Bread was meh, and dressing on the salad was weak. And while the calamari was pretty good probably 30 percent of the pieces were pretty soggy. Also the chicken marsala had great sauce but clearly reheated chicken. Now other Italian restauarants locally are guilty of that (recently seen at Stephano's and all the time at Pizza Village) but that alone isn't going to get you a 5 in my book. Reheated chicken has a different taste. Anyway, the review is a 3. Would I come back for a group outing again? Sure. Would I try to dissuade a small group from going here? Yes. Would I go back here on my own? No I would not.

Consider them as better choices if you're up for Italian, instead of the under-new-ownership Longobardi's. Longobardi's used to be our favorite restaurant when Claudio owned it. I've thrown six sizable parties there over the years - a wedding rehearsal, a baby shower, a retirement party, and three special birthday parties. In total, well over $12,000 for the parties, along with many thousands of dollars over the several decades of going there with just my husband, or with family and friends, about once a month. We loved the food and Claudio, and how he ran his restaurant. The new owner - not so much! Today, Father's Day, June 21, 2026, we chose to go to Longobardi's because that is where one of our grandsons loves to order pizza. The adults, of course, planned to order from the regular menu. We were not surprised to see "THE HOLIDAY MENU" with unacceptably increased prices. That's the norm on a holiday, even Father's Day. It is what it is. What we were very surprised at is that the new owner and manager REFUSED to let our little, sweet, very well-behaved, grandson order pizza because it was not on "The Holiday Menu." Mind you, their attached SAME KITCHEN pizza parlor was making pizzas to go, as we sat at the dining table. Our daughter decided to go to that counter in the back of the restaurant, order the little guy his pizza and bring it back to the dining table. Longobardi's new owner/manager REFUSED, REFUSED, HEELS DUG IN, to let our daughter bring the little guy's pizza to our family table in the dining room, on Father's Day, a family holiday, at an Italian family restaurant, with a pizza parlor. REFUSED, no matter how sweet and kind we were. They told her she either had to take the pizza to go, or the little guy had to eat his pizza in the pizza parlor with her, rather than with the rest of the family and his Pop, on Father's Day. It brought her to tears. So the manager, after she and the pizza guy brought her to tears with this irrational business decision, ruining the Father's Day dinner said, "We'll, I guess I could bring the pizza to him one piece at a time, but I'll have to sneak it in, because I already told another table with children, near your table, that they could not order pizza today." This was too little, too late for our daughter and our grandson. Tears, and not a fond memory. The unacceptable behavior and crazy-wired decisions of the manager/owner had already caused unnecessary customer stress and hurt. Really bad marketing and business decisions on the new owner's part. Claudio would have never forced a grandchild to not be able to eat his pizza with his Pop on Father's Day. This arrogant, thinks-he-knows-it-all new owner basically ruined Father's Day dinner for the family, in the interest of his personal greed. Note, he did the same thing to two other tables near our table, which had several lovely, sweet, well-behaved children. This is certainly not the way to do business with families, on a family holiday, in a family restaurant with a working pizza parlor connected and sharing the same kitchen. The new owner thought he was making a shrewd money making decision to force people to order the expensive items on "The Holiday Menu," in the interest of greed. Greed never works in the long run. He shot himself in the foot. He lost six customers of many decades at our table. We will never recommend Longobardi's again. Many of our friends who have frequented there for decades were heartbroken to hear this story, and will stop supporting that business. Several friends from different friend circles warned us not to go there based on their own and different stories with the new owner, but we decided to give the new ownership a chance, and form our own decision. Should have listened. I'm happy for Claudio that he was able to sell his business and was able to retire; he so deserves it. As for the community - the heart in this restaurant retired with Claudio. Next up, give Milanese in Poughkeepsie or Stefano's in Fishkill a try before going to the under-new-ownership Longobardi's.

I'm ready to make a bold declaration: Stone's is the best pizza shop…read more Not the best around. Not the best I've found in Wappingers. The best pizza shop. Period. I know. That's a ridiculous statement to make about pizza. I'm not Portnoy, and I'm not basing it on one bite and an 8.3. In fairness, I have 10+ reps here now--eating in, taking out and delivery--and at this point I'm ready to pour a little affection on this place. Stone's is just it. Want an exceptional plain slice? It's here. Want some of the best wings you've had from a pizza shop? They're here--and they're frying them in beef tallow. Want a carefully considered specialty slice that actually earns the right to be different? Pick one behind the glass. Want a sandwich? A pizza shop frankly shouldn't be making sandwiches this stupidly delicious, but apparently Stone's decided that was their lane too. The creativity isn't there for novelty. These guys clearly think about food. And that's really what separates Stone's for me: consideration. The dough gets a minimum 48-hour fermentation. The ingredients matter. The wings matter. The sandwiches matter. The sauces matter. The way a slice is constructed matters. There is a level of intention here that you can taste before you ever know any of that. But I probably wouldn't love Stone's this much if it were only about the food. I love the playful banter from behind the glass. I love asking about a slice and getting an answer from someone who is genuinely excited to tell you what they made. I love that on more than one occasion I've been sent home with a few tastes of something I hadn't ordered or hadn't gotten the chance to try. Those little interactions stick with you. The ownership loves what they're doing, they've mastered their craft, and somehow they've managed to make that enthusiasm contagious. There are plenty of places that make great pizza. Stone's feels like a great pizza shop. There's a difference. So, to the ownership of Stone's: keep going. Whatever you're trying to build here, don't stop. It feels inevitable that more people are going to discover this place. Watching that happen is going to be fun. P.S. -- Stone's may not know this yet, but they've developed a strangely loyal satellite market in Garrison, NY. It's basically two houses: mine and my neighbor's. We've figured out both how to make the Wappingers-to-Garrison run and, somehow, how to get Stone's delivered all the way down here. So if an order is making that unlikely trip south, there's a pretty safe chance it's headed to one of our houses. Consider us the unofficial Garrison chapter. Can't wait to watch this place grow. 5/5.

People on here complaining about the size of a slice are missing the point or don't have taste…read morebuds. The pizza at Stone's uses ingredients that are of such higher quality than most "slice joints" and their process is top notch. 48 hour fermentation of dough, no cheap seed oils, high quality cheese, non bleached flour, etc. The quality of ingredients and process shows in the final result, and even though it may be a little pricier for a pie than many places, the flavor and quality is light years ahead of most places. I also like that the menu is simple: make a few things and make them well, and you have my business. I've also done a number of large orders (6-8 pies) in the past few months, and they are so nice and hospitable; everyone who works there is just really great in my experience. On the inside, it's a small spot, but it's super clean with a few tables, while you watch them bustling behind the counter. I came in the other day to grab a slice and watch the World Cup action on the TV, which was extra awesome. It's in a funny location on 9D on the way into Wappingers, but the sign caught my eye - glad I pulled in as it's my new favorite pizza spot in the HV. Keep it up Stone's!
