I was born in The Bronx, so finding a truly decent authentic Napolitano style pie has been a challenge. Bronx pie crust is perfect: crispy crunch on the NY "fold". A good chew on the crust rim, slightly sweet fruity sauce that delivers a true tomato punch. Great balance of cheese to sauce to dough. And served with a smile. YEP. I liked it a lot.

Looking for a quick place near Marist College and found this place. Good tasting pizza.

Cheap and filling. Good value for a quick bite. A little taste of the Bronx in Poughkeepsie

It slightly pains me to write this review, as my first experience at Cosimo's was soooooo good…read more Let's get on with it tho. We visited on the Friday before V-day, the house was packed around 18:30. The wait was 45 mins which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. We decided to wait in the lobby after trying to find a cozy waiting spot near the bar and missing. My wife attempted to order me a mocktail, but of course the bar was crazy busy. When the bartender finally acknowledged her, the mocktail requests obviously threw the bartender for a loop because I ended up with watered down ginger beer and a sprig of mint. My advice for anyone looking for a virgin drink at this bar would be to order a club soda with lime and call it a night. We were seated at the 45 min mark, and were escorted to the packed bar, where they have some exterior tables for diners. My seat was in the middle of the couch split, which I found mighty uncomfortable so we opted to request a seat in the main dining room, which the staff happily obliged. With dinner we ordered hot tea and were given lukewarm water and a choice of Stash teas. Our beverage experience here was very disappointing. The calamari arrived and may have been the only highlight, although we didn't find it to have that fresh calamari texture. My wife ordered a ravioli with mushroom, and felt the pasta and veggies were just swimming in butter. I ordered my steak medium and it was okay, but the juices from the greens made the croquettes soggy, and unenjoyable. The server did his best, and all the staff here are so kind. Coulda been an off night but I doubt we'll be back anytime soon. The Mocktail Madam.

Enjoyed a fantastic brunch here. The food was delicious-…read morethe potatoes that came with my Benedict were a standout and I'd come back just for them- crispy but not oily, crunchy outside and fluffy inside. Eggs were nicely poached, could have use a bit more sauce! Was listed on the menu as Bernaise but looked and tasted more like the usual Hollandaise. I meant to ask for more but the actual dish would benefit from more generous saucing. Latte was delicious- nice and hot, and the espresso had a good smooth taste. A couple points of feedback- could benefit from putting notes about GF substitutions on the menu. I asked just in case and found out there was GF bread, pasta and pizza crust available. I didn't see that on any menu and wouldn't have known otherwise- seems more beneficial to list them instead of relying on diners to inquire. Second- the chairs. Metal with a curved back- the small tables are fine, but don't leave room for purses, and it was nearly impossible to keep my bag on the chair. Not super comfortable either- something to think about. Otherwise a really solid place to eat and will return to try out dinner.

My food came quick, and I thought the pizza was super tasty. I really liked the sauce. I thought it tasted even better when I heated it up at home. I saw sandwiches coming out of the kitchen that looked excellent, I will definitely drop by again.

Coming in, nobody was to be found, and after waiting for about a minute, the hostess, who in fact was our waitress spotted us, and said we could sit anywhere. The menu has a lot to offer, with pizza being the main offering, not to be surprising, hence in the business name. I was very impressed to see the variety. Most of the items that stick out are burgers (which taste very good), pasta, sandwiches, soup, chicken, you name it. Some of the prices I found seemed to be a bit pricey, considering it's not quite a fancy restaurant. I sure can't wait to make many visits to try each and every one of their items. Our waitress, Casey (who never introduced her name, but found it on the receipt), was okay for the most part, very friendly, but didn't check in with us at all. With the garage doors open, there were a couple of bees flying around, and ended up switching tables, Casey apologized for that. Having peanut allergies, I asked her if the french fries were dipped in peanut oil, checked, and came back and told me they weren't sure, coming to my surprise. I subbed salad instead for my safety. In the evening, I called this location and asked a gentleman about peanut oil, the same answer as before. Afterward, I called the other location in Middletown, and sure enough, they said they DON'T use peanut oil. Talk about craziness, I have mixed feelings about this location, them not knowing one piece of information when it comes to food allergies. Outstanding food no doubt - but customer service needs big improvement at this location.
