Eating at Madison's Pizza Cafe is like going to Sunday dinner at Nona's house. The family run restaurant offers authentic American Italian food. The pizza is excellent! But beyond all of that is how they make you feel like a part of their family. read more

Got a few slices to go, very good pizza. I really enjoyed my pepperoni slice. Staff was friendly and took my order right away. There seemed to be plenty of seating space, even for a big group. I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. read more

The gluten free pizza is very tasty- my celiac kid can eat it without issue. It's his favorite GF pizza locally. They also deliver! The rest of the food is fine, but not great. read more

This place is the best place to go for pizza for anything. They are very friendly, very courteous, very kind. Those prices are great reasonable I do give this place all thumbs up and I do recommend this place to everybody nice atmosphere, nice people.Great place to go to. read more

This is pretty solid pizza. I've been getting it for a few years now. To me, it would be five stars if they used a little less cheese. As a result, the pizza has been a bit heavier, and greasier lately. But it's still pretty good. All the staff are very attentive and genuinely look like they are having some fun, which helps ambiance. read more

Once in a while we try this place again while we're in the area. NOPE. Every single time, they upcharge for toppings and ingredients that they just "forget". I don't know if it's laziness, carelessness, or illiteracy... but the fact that this has been going on for literally years is insane. It wasn't even a busy time of day! Not going all of the way back there for a buck's worth of toppings while everything else gets sold... but they sure would have made a difference. Get. Your. Shit. Together. read more

normally I get pizza or calzone which is good never an issue. decided today to get chicken parm with pasta dinner. don't recommend it. the sauce was water down the pasta was maybe a kid size with a half of piece of chicken. read more

Ordered the Six Chicken Strips. Received 4 & 1/2 with a few burnt pieces that the restaurant felt was an acceptable replacement for the 6

Been going here for years and nowhere compares! Soooooo much more than a pizzeria! In fact, I almost never order pizza because the menu has tons of other delicious Italian options. Their pizza is great too, of course. Grandma slices are my favorite! First and foremost- the vodka sauce is my favorite ever ever. That means it's perfect not only on the penne vodka dish, but also with chicken parm and with the garlic knots appetizer as well. I've yet to find better version of this sauce and trust me I've looked! Some delicious wrap options for lunch time- including an eggplant option that I frequently order. Special mention to the spudsters (if you know you know and this is the only spot I have found since my middle school cafeteria to have these bad boys). Summer salad is also a favorite of mine- super refreshing and love the different flavor combos. Yummy soups to start too- I especially like the lobster bisque. The portions are HUGE and so so reasonably priced. Family owned local business that always has smiling friendly staff. Run don't walk to Madison's!!!! read more

Madison’s Pizza Cafe - Chicken parmigiana alla vodka entree - Pizza Near Me - Pleasant Valley, New York

Great chicken parm sub... fresh toasty bread, delicious sauce, good price, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. Madison's always hits the spot when I'm in Pleasant Valley read more

Places an order and asked if they could substitute meat instead of cheese for an item, they said yes they could. When the order arrived it was drowned in sauce and cheese, there was no beef but all cheese they also said it was a large portion. There was no beef but cheese and the charged an extra $3.00 for the non beef, the portion was not large. On another item which included peppers they charged an extra $1.50, none of this was mentioned before placing my order. At least be honest. If you can't do something say so. Madison is good for quick fried food and ripping people off, that's about it. Not impressed at all. And charged a $3.00 delivery fee. A waste of $$$$ for sure!!!!!! read more

The food was decent the pizza was pretty oily but the crest was good! The chicken parm was good and the staff was nice but im giving it only 3 stars because that girl lauren doesn't spit on it real well anymore. I will say the dessert was amazing! I had a slice of cheese cake and sole fried oreos which were perfect read more

Food is decent, but they always forget a piece of the order when delivering food to the house.

Madison's is a combination of takeout and full service restaurant with seated table service and a full service bar. we typically buy takeout pizza here. Their pizza is good in comparison what is offered in the rest of the area, and is reasonably priced. We will be back. read more

Warm and friendly place with great Pizza and many other dine in or take out menu options. There's a definite local neighborhood vibe here. The owners and staff make you feel like family. I will be back soon to work my way through that fun menu read more

Pizzas are great. Staff is always friendly. Whether I go in with my 4yo or call to order, everyone is always so pleasant to me and so sweet to my boy. Their pizza is great, discovered them when I moved to pleasant valley and there has been no need to try any other pizzeria. read more

Our family have been customers of Madison's since the beginning. Last weekend we had several trays catered for an event. Gules was incredibly helpful taking the order and handled everything perfectly and professionally. The food was outstanding! So many people were asking who catered the food. The gluten free chicken and broccoli that Gules recommended was a huge hit with our guests. The chicken marsala, ravioli and penne aka vodka all were very delicious as well. Most people were going back for seconds. Some for thirds ;-) ! read more

Been coming here for a number of years and Madison's has always impressed us especially with the recent renovations. In a convenient location, it's very easy to get into. Some days, particularly on the weekends, the parking lot can be packed, so expect to park far away. We've done takeout for pizza pies and fries at every visit. The pizza is cooked in NY style, giving it a great taste. Service here is professional, and the owner is always a pleasure to see. If you're a regular, they'll remember you. Add this stop to the list, and see for yourselves. read more

One of the better locally owned pizza's in the area as they use fresher ingredients then most. The cheese is really thick and chewy. The lines can get long on a Friday evening and no room to stay 6 feet apart during COVID. Cute little bar in dining room area of shopping mall store front. Had to take a off a star because the edges of my pizza were burnt the last time and the oil from the cheese was dripping off my slices. read more

Great pizza I was up from Florida. Service was excellent! Will be coming back next time..!

Jay and his staff are amazing, always accommodating and Friendly. They just added Cauliflower gluten free pizza crust with toppings to your liking!!! Delicious!!!! Check it out!!!! read more

Place sucks, prices expensive, owner tries to bully customers into writing good reviews

Great pizza, the crust is the right blend of chewy and flavorful. our favorite is the grandma pie!. Plus, they deliver which is awesome. Don't have the margarita pie delivered tho, it's too fragile and doesn't travel well. Skip the wings, yes to garlic knots. Greek salad delicious and lasts for days in case you fill up on pizza first....save ten box stamps get a free cheese pie! (Pick up only) read more

This place has changed so much since I was a kid...and all for the better! It can be a little strange when you walk in and there's a six-foot-high wall surrounding a dining section, but it's just part of charm! The better dining room/bar is opposite the register and it's so nice and quaint. Great for parties from 2-20. If you go in there even two or three times, the staff will remember you. They're great at making you feel welcome. What's truly outstanding is the FOOD. MY GOD. Personal favorite are the cheesy garlic knots and the penne a la vodka. They must make their vodka sauce in-house because it tastes like nothing I've ever had before. I have never been let down by anything on their menu. They also offer a rotating selection of beers that my friends are never let down by. Really a true gem in Pleasant Valley! read more

Everyday special, 2 dozen wings, large pizza and 2 liter soda for 25. The good, the pizza was made to perfection. The bad the wings lacked meat and flavor. The only flavor you get is from the tremendous amount of sauce. The spaghetti taste like boiled pasta with cheap pasta sauce also lacking flavor. The service is fast and friendly. This place used to be one of my favorites a couple years back. I feel like there loosing it. read more

Went to go there and get food for my family in which the business is charging a surcharge illegally for using a debit card. Got into an argument with owner about the situation in which the owner spit out false facts about his business and what the law is. read more

It's good tasting pizza. The sauce doesn't taste like regular marinara sauce, so it seems more authentic. Top three in Dutchess County I would say. The specials are good, along with their coupons and the service is friendly. They seem to have a good time there as well. I'm just disappointed that they let this go out the door. read more

Wish I had thought to take photos but all we had left were empty plates! Thanks, Madison's, for making our small get-together a success. We appreciate the delivery, especially since we are not exactly nearby. Delivery person was right on time and the food was hot and, as always, delicious! Terrific service and nice portions at very reasonable prices. We can always count on a great experience with this team! read more

COVID careless. Only one person in the restaurant was wearing a mask properly and full time. The young women who took my order was the exception. From where I was sitting I could see right through the kitchen and even the owners were maskless. One cook had his on most of the time when I was looking the rest were covering their chins and a few their mouths while leaving their nose uncovered. The food was fine but I only ate 1/3 of my meal before asking for my check and a box. read more

If you're in Pleasant Valley for a slice this is the spot. The slices are huge, and reasonably priced; so are the salads. Plus it's really tasty. They have a full bar here but the drinks are weak, and watered down. They're not super pricey but they could be a lot better. Glasses of wine are a little small too. The service is always friendly and attentive. It's pros certainly outweigh the cons; And if you've had a long day you can sit at a table, and someone will take your order. Or you could order takeout/ delivery. Overall a solid NY pizza place. read more

What another let down. This place was my go to place but that has now come to an end. 3rd time is a charm. We were very good customers of Jay and his crew but they just don't have it anymore. There pizza is either doughy or over cooked. Not this time.Friday night called for 1 pizza at 715. At 830 still not here. Called back and the girl said it's on it's way, it just left. Ok great. 850 called back and then was told we will need to remake it that it was never sent. Told them do not send it just to refund the money. As of today we have not been refunded th he money. This is not the first time but it will be the last. Not happy with this. I gave them all our business or I should say I tried to but should have learned after never receiving several phone calls back on a catering job. I always give 2nd chances. The ball is no longer in your court. You have now dropped the ball. Good luck read more

Well, it's official. Madison's is going down the tubes. Ordered a stuffed pizza, get a personal meat lovers, so someone has a stuffed pie somewhere, hope they like it. Order a chicken bacon cheddar ranch wrap, got chicken tomatoes lettuce and ranch. The staff is screaming at each other, the customers are screaming at the staff and Jay is.....................hiding at his other restaurant, that's also doing horrible. Btw, you now owe me for at least two bottles of soda because your delivery drivers never bring them. Thought picking up was going to be the way to go. WRONG. Twice as stressful, but on the bright side, I sent the Mrs and I only had to pay for the wrong order. There's officially no good pizza in Pleasant Valley. Thank god for Country Corners. read more

I wish I could give 3.5 stars but I will round up to 4. The food is good for a pizzeria. I actually love their Tex mix sandwich, which I normally get in a panini. Their Amy panini is good also but I always substitute the pesto mayo for pesto sauce. The sauce, dough and cheese are always par for the course. My reason for giving 3.5 stars is I have had multiple orders messed up. I have given the benefit of the doubt when the pizzeria is busy. However, they have messed up orders multiple times even with minimal customers around. It's a good pizzeria when you just don't feel like cooking or going out to eat. I eat here probably at least once a week, which is another reason I rated this place 4 stars. read more

A locally owned place with phenomenal food as well as friendly staff. Jay is a philanthropist as you can always find him donating food to any local organization. Even when loyal customers have a tragedy in the family, whatever that may be, you can always bet a mystery order of food is sent out. You just never hear about it because it's not done for publicity, but because he's a good human. So go get a slice, or a pie, or a beer. It's all good there. read more

We went in this Friday night. We gave our order and things were fine until a large table (over 10) came in and were seated. We were pretty much forgotten by the waitress. Finally got our food and an item was missing but at that point said forget it. Let me start by saying that I'm Italian and don't like to eat Italian food out at all. But Madison's is great. Great food, friendly staff. We eat here quite often and keep coming back for more.
