Great pizza at the Wappingers Falls location. Been going there for years. keep it up.

Went in today ordered three slices. The young lady uses a spatula to pick all three slice on the tray and place them in the oven. As im waiting for the food to come out, the lady behind the counter uses the same spatula to scrap the dirt off the counters in front of me then put the same spatula under the pizza on display without cleaning it off or changing it. If they are doing that infront of customer what are they doing when no one's looking. I just threw my slices out read more

Ordered two pasta dinners with clam sauce, one red and one white, it was ready as promised but I was very disappointed with the results and flavor the clams were not chopped but more like ground chopped meat, and the sauce if any, had no flavor it seemed to be missing seasoning read more

We get take out here. Consistently good. I like the meatball hero and Mediterranean salad. Regular cheese pizza is my go to. Husband likes the spicy pepperoni cups and sausage pie. They have a good assortment of slices to grab when out and about. read more

I ordered a medium white pizza with a chicken cutlet earlier this evening. It's been a while since I ordered a pizza for delivery. The pizza arrived pretty much as ordered. But........ It was far over baked, hard, tasteless, had very little mozzarella cheese, and what there was, was burned beyond recognition. I had nothing else for dinner, so I ate 2 slices, but I feel like I wasted my money. $27 for a small (4 slice!!!), burned, hard and tasteless pizza is in my opinion a bit pricey for this area. I totally get the increase in expenses for restaurants, I used to work for one of the largest food purveyors in the tri-state area. But $27 for 4 slices, and burned and lacking any noticeable amount of cheese, is quite overpriced in my opinion. I won't be ordering Giacomos pizzas again. For me, this place is a hit or miss. I got lasagna a couple of times and it was just a brick shaped glop. I noticed it's not in the menu anymore. Sometimes the food is great and sometimes it's barely edible. I do like their stracciatella soup though - that and the tiramisu have been consistently good. Great pizza! Chicken Parmigiana sub! Greek salad! Fast service, reasonable prices. Pleasant atmosphere but I took it to go. This is now my go to spot for pizza in Poughkeepsie area. The fresh italian bread - havent had it like that in a long time! I usually go to another place nearby, the pizza there is good but not great so I asked someone where is a better place and Giacomo's was referred. They have very good pizza, the Staff is very nice and helpful. The floors were extremely clean and they have a great selection of food other than pizza it by any means is not the greatest pizza ever but if your in the area it is a great choice. read more

staff sucks! when somebody places an order by phone that means they expect the food to be ready on the agreed time. give or take a few minutes. Then when you discovered that you have given my food away you don't say anything to me and just make another. you should have asked if I had time to wait for you to make the second. so now I got back to work and can't eat because I ran out of time. management lady with black hair should have stepped in and done something/ said something. Very good slices to go, the Margherita slice was the best one for me. It had a really good crispy, thinner crust.

I came here for a few slices of pizza for lunch and left satisfied. The pizzas were coming out regularly so the slices were warm and not in need of being reheated. The toppings were pretty generous, and I liked the pizza sauce too. The pepperoni pizza was slightly greasy, but that's exactly the way I like it. I only wish the crust had been a bit crisper (though I realize that had the pizzas come right out of the oven, or the slices gotten reheated, the crust would probably have been crisper). Service is fast, and the dining area and rest rooms are well maintained. It might seem a little awkward getting into this plaza to come here, but it's worth it. read more

Giacomo's is a popular local chain, but this particular location is their newest. It has a set-up similar to their other locations, except this one has a special kids room which doesn't have much more than a small table and chairs. Regardless, it's a cute gesture. The food from this location has always been tasty, in my opinion, from their delicious pesto and grilled chicken wedges (you might know them as heroes or subs) to their sicilian pizza. The only thing that bothers me about this place is how their staff seems to be disinterested in helping customers and consistently converse loudly to the point where it's hard to get their attention when you need them. It's the same at other Giacomo's locations too, but I think it's a result of hiring young individuals. Either way, it's a good place! Giacomo's is a well established chain of pizzerias in the area with several locations around the area. This one is convenient for me because I work right across the street from it. Giacomo's pizza is great, a bit on the pricier side, however the size of the slices are well worth it. The Wappingers location is a quaint one right along Route 9, perfect for those who need a bite to eat or need a dinner idea. They have a pretty decent sized menu, filled with Italian specialties, specialty pizza and your standard fare of cold and hot subs. The one item I will laud about are their wings which are quite well priced at $8.50 for 12 wings which themselves are a pretty good size. The kicker is their hot option for the sauce which is super flavorful and moderately spicy. For their pizza, I highly recommend the Rio Rancho sicilian pie. I don't know WHAT kind of ranch dressing they put on it but it is slammin. Overall Giacomo's is a fantastic restaurant chain which is why I'm a repeat customer. read more

This fairly new location of Giacomo's has great pizza. Their thin crust square pies have a crunchy crust. Some of my favorites are the buffalo chicken pie and Grandma pie. They also serve regular (round) pies. I haven't tried their other Italian fare (subs, pasta, salads, entrees), but I hope to soon. The service is friendly and fairly quick. read more

BEST PIZZA PLACE IN WAPPINGERS ! And omg you wouldn't expect them to have fries, cause it's a pizza place but guess what? THEY GOT FRIES AND THEYRE AMAZING! It's so great to just stop in to get a slice or a whole pie, and my absolute faves are the Rio Rancho, Chicken bacon ranch, and white pizzas. Garlic knots are the best. A little pricey if you get like the specialty pizzas but still with the price. And I believe they have GLUTEN FREE pizza for those who need that. I have ordered from the Wappingers location for many years. Usually I am satisfied with their food and service. However, tonight was an exception. I called at 6:17 to order a cheese calzone and a small side salad. At approximately 7:05 a young man delivered the calzone and said he had to go back for the salad and would be back in 5 minutes. I literally live within walking distance of the restaurant. At 7:24 I called to see where he was. I was told he had not come back from another delivery and would be back soon. He never told me he had other deliveries to make before returning with my salad. I told the girl on the phone I expected a refund for the salad. She said they'd give it to me on my next order. I said no, I expected it on this order for the inconvenience and waiting to eat. She gave me a hard time, saying it was just human error, I said yes, but not MY error!She said he'd be back soon. The she called at 7:31 to say he was on his way. It is now 7:40, still no salad delivered. I literally live 2-3 minutes away. Finally arrived at 7:41, with a cash refund. My calzone is now cold!!! I totally understand the effect the Covid virus has had on businesses. But I'm trying to support a local business and would expect nothing less than good service for being a loyal customer. Giacomos has been a favorite spot for a while, but tonight I had a very strange experience with the chicken Alfredo. Nothing is this dish was appetizing. The pasta was over cooked, the alfredo was incredibly bland, and the chicken is of the rubber texture. For the amount of money that they charge for a pasta dish you really would expect more. It's pretty hard to believe that a pizza place can mess up Alfredo sauce so bad. I definitely recommend that nobody tries the alfredo, I am not satisfied at all with the purchase I made today. read more

I had a very experience trying to order online. I successfully placed my order, paid in full and received a confirmation email. Moments later a received a new message that my order was canceled. I didn't understand why so I called. The person on phone explained that they had decided to close 1.5 hours earlier than the hours listed on their website so they canceled my order. They stated that I should receive a refund in about 5 business days. So I paid for absolutely nothing and cannot get my money back for 5 days at least. The Giacomo's employee said there's nothing they can do because it's not them that collects the money, it's their vendor. But it's THEIR vendor that THEY choose to work with. And they are the ones who randomly decided to close early after they already confirmed my order and accepted payment. What a horrible system. I had a catering order for thirty people to place this week and had planned to go to Giacomos but I'll be looking for another place now. read more

First off let me start by saying I have never wrote a review about a business before and hopefully will never have to again but I really can't take this place anymore. I live locally and ordering from this place was very convenient. The food is always ok ( nothing to boast about) but ok. The issue is, in 3 yrs of ordering here ... they have yet to get a order correct and actually deliver everything I order. Whether its forgetting drinks, side sauce for your meal, salad dressing and most of the time your salad. In the beginning I wouldn't make it a big deal. I would call and just let them know what they forgot something and I let it slide. Every time they would say " let us know next time and we will make it up to you" never did cause was always over it. But seriously people you have one job! Make sure orders are complete. Are you really that freaking dumb? Or is it that you just don't care? 2 months ago after screwing up another order,I decided I'm done with this place. I tried nonnas pizza. I Place my order and had a few changes to the standard order. The girl on the phone repeated it back and said 45 min. Till delivery. ( pretty standard). Delivery showed up in 30 min. And guess what.... the order was spot on and the meal was delicious. Shocking when the people their are smart enough to double check a order. After two months of not ordering Giacomo's. We decided to give them one more try tonight. Placed our order, friendly girl repeated order back and said 45 min. Order was here in 50 min. (Perfect)! Except they forgot a Caesar salad!!!! Called up once again to complain. Told the girl how ridiculous it is. Every dam time. Told her I'm not letting it slide this time. I want what I paid for and I want the salad delivered. She obviously apologized and said She will have someone bring that right over to me. We finished our whole meal and had everything cleaned up when their was a knock on the door. Delivery guy apologizing for the staffs incompetence and handed me my salad. A hour after I called about the screw up. Btw. I live a 1/4 mi. From this business. Never again will this business get one dime of my money. My suggestion to everyone local. Try Nonna's or Longibardi's .great food and a component staff. read more

Ate here last week and let me tell you, yummy!!! Very good food, extremely fresh! We ordered all dinners but when we arrived immediately we wanted pizza. There were so many delicious looking slices available however that will be another time. The only reason I am not giving a 5 is that we were told 25 minutes and arrived 45 minutes after the call and our food was not ready. They also forgot to throw the garlic knots in the oven so when we arrived they still had to be cooked. Amazing food, not an apology on the service. Will definitely go back to try again hopefully the service will be accurate. read more

Just picked up a slice after a very long day. Went for the veggie which had artichokes and black olives, among other delicious toppings. It's absolutely delicious & there seems to be a whole grain crust that I didn't expect, which makes me more excited about it. It's 5 times better than I'd hoped! read more
