I go here a lot on sundays after my foursome plays golf. Normally a great huge sandwhich. But lately very bad. Two chicken cutlet sandwhiches the chicken was so hard and old inedible and the roast beef was so over cooked inedible. Called to talk to manager. But lady on phone gave me a run around. Gluten Free Bacon Egg and Cheese! Let's goooo!! It's hard finding a deli that offers gluten free bread, for obvious reasons and I get it. BUT it's so nice to order a breakfast sandwich to enjoy with the rest of my family!!! Sometimes they run out of buns after the morning rush, so be sure to plan ahead and don't wait if you can help it! The staff has always been so kind and helpful. In a sentence: this is an emporium of high-end quality Italian products. The best or nothing else will do. Reminiscent of the kind of stores you would find on Arthur Ave in the Bronx. I found out about the place by accident, while waiting on a line in the pharmacy. So I looked up the address and took a ride. Glad I did! Ordered the #53 the Italian Stallion on a roll to-go. The bag seemed a little heavy. At home I weighed one half of the sandwich - it was close to 7 ounces. There was enough meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and roasted peppers to make two overstuffed sandwiches from just that one half alone! The only minor complaint: the balsamic vinegar and oil would have been better on the top of the sandwich. It soaked through the bottom half. Nobody likes a soggy bottom. There is a wide selection of dried pastas, sauces, cookies, pastries, dried sausages, hot & cold food to go. The menu is so extensive it takes longer to figure out what you want, than at a Greek diner! And you thought you knew what you wanted when you walked in. That doesn't happen too often! This is a gem for Wappingers, we are lucky. The bread is the Italian bread I grew up having, the only true Italian bread around. The cannoli's are fresh made and are better than any po'k has to offer. The Sfogliatella (sweet adele's) are made on site and are perfect o. All in all Roma has much to offer that is just plain good. The frozen soups & entree's, sandwiches, deli case offers, shelf items all great. There is not one negative thing I have to say about Roma. I've lived down the road from here all my life and this place is the best sandwiches in the region hands down.

Roma deli never disappoints. They have the biggest selection of specialty sandwiches around. You could come here for months and still not have all of them (70+), my favorite is #68! Staff are friendly and get you in and out quickly. My only complaint is that regulars will walk in and jump the line, I have been in several arguments with people here for cutting. Staff usually puts them in their place though, so thats nice. Give Roma a shot, great lunch spot! read more

(Crispy bacon etc.) .... every other sandwich / breakfast on their extensive menu has disappointed. I will probably try this place again eventually. I'll leave another review when I do. This deli reminds me of being back home in The Bronx! You cannot go wrong with any breakfast or lunch sandwiches. They are AMAZING!! The coffee is so much better than any big coffee shops around. I've also had them cater & the food FORGETABOUTIT!!! The Chicken Francese, Mediterranean Salad & the Sausage & Peppers are always a big hit. Great Italian deli that is equal to the great Italian delis you will find down in Westchester! Family run, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. They are busy during peak hours but they get the orders together remarkably quickly. My wife is a vegetarian and there are lots of choices there for her too. My boyfriend ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich and when I saw the man behind the counter nuke the chicken cutlet in the microwave I knew it was a bad choice. Disappointing. Came here to take out some sandwiches for me and my dad. I asked for the Italian cold cut sandwich and a chicken parm. The Italian cold cut sandwich was pretty par for the course, with some nice tang from the oil and vinegar. However, once I saw my server start up the microwave and nuke the chicken parm for 4 minutes, I knew I immediately regretted my second choice. Sure enough, when I brought it home my dad let me know it was mushy and absent of any tomato flavor. He didn't finish it. I can understand if chicken parm (or any hot sandwich) isn't the easiest thing to whip up, but if you're going to have it on the menu, at least try and make a decent attempt. If you come here, stick with the cold cuts! read more

My sister hates this place, but I love it. It's very close in proximity to where I live and I've never been disappointed.The meat is always fresh and there's always Italian cookies or sodas ready to be purchased. Compared to other delis, the price is a little on the expensive side but as I've said before, the meat is always fresh so if I have to pay a couple of extra dollars for it, then so be it. My other gripe (which may be a personal problem) is that every time I eat one of these sandwiches, the meat falls out or I end up eating too much of the bread on one side. This isn't an "on-the-go sandwich" in the car, you'll need a plate for that. Cell service is atrocious here. It took me 3 minutes to load this app in the store. any deli that serves breakfast sandwiches all day has my ! my mom and i got breakfast sandwiches at noonish & they were really good!! i got a sec nothing fancy and it was extra good, like i really enjoyed it it's the small things. my mom liked her bec too. usually i'm pretty uncomfortable by the no mask wearing but i'll make an exception for this deli. idk what's with all the bad reviews, i'm not biased toward one deli or another but this is truly an italian family deli and we love to see it. read more

Stopped in and asked for an egg sandwich- no meat, no cheese. The woman taking my order was incredibly befuddled by this order and had to ask me about three times if that was all I wanted on the sandwich. Finally, when it was done, I asked her how much and she didn't know. She asked someone else- they shrugged.
