CALL AHEAD. Above all else, CALL AHEAD. If you come here in the morning on the weekend, you can expect to wait over 20 minutes for even the simplest sandwiches. Despite that, the food is excellent. The flavors can be tasted individually with every bite. The chicken cutlet is crisp. The sauces are good. The premade sandwiches are excellent. The cold cut options are consistent. It is my go to deli by a mile in the area. No place has better sandwiches to me and i've tried them all within a 10 mile radius, maybe even more. The inside of the location is very traditional. Quiet seating arrangements, a TV playing for the regulars to absorb their news with a cup of coffee, fridge and coffee section to get a drink of choice. Albeit, the cold drink options could use some work. Overall the service is fine. The guy is a bit rough around the edges, seems a bit foggy whenever I see him but i also have seen him every single time i've gone in there so he may just be overworked. Ever since the young girl there started consistently, it's been a lot more pleasant. She's kind, attentive, accurate in placing orders, keeps composure under crowd pressures and has elevated the scale of customer service by a margin large enough it's noticeable. I presume it's a whole family who works there which is always excellent. Love the classic mom and pop places still holding strong in Dutchess County. When I called robos a couple weeks ago at 6:05 and the website said they were open, so i expected to be greeted with a welcoming attitude. When i called the worker answered the phone he answered with a hello? almost as if it was a question, I asked if it was robos because of the greeting i did not expect to get. When i asked if i could place an order he said sure. When i was ordering he cut me off and didn't let me finish what i was going to say. Follow up this morning i tried calling to place an order giving them a second chance, it made a weird beeping sound and i hung up, we called on another phone and they answered, leading me to realize they blocked me. food is still fire tho read more

Stopped by here to grab a sandwich for my sister in law who was stuck at work. I've read reviews saying the staff isn't very friendly but the gentleman who helped me was very nice. I called in advance because I'm aware that if you don't want to wait at a deli you call ahead. The guy who took my order and who i dealt with inside was very nice. I gave him the change from my $10 bill as a tip and he rang a loud bell and was very appreciative. My sister in law order the robo beefer sandwich. I didn't get a chance to order any food but she demolished the sandwich and it looked great. She ate it so fast I couldn't get a picture. She raves about this place and I will be back soon to try breakfast and a sandwich of my own. Will update review after I try the place but wanted to get the info out there. read more

My family and I ordered 4 sandwiches at 9:30am. We were charged for 7 (they charged us for someone else's 3 sandwiches). We got our 4 sandwiches at 10:30am and my egg whites with spinach and mushrooms on dry whole wheat toast came out as an egg, mushroom, spinach and cheese on a roll. Drowned my brothers SEC with ketchup. Made it late to our train. I come here every time I'm home and they make small mistakes, EVERY, SINGLE, TIME. This was the last straw. If I could give zero stars I would. Robo's has to get their employees re-trained. I've worked in a food business and I know the difficulty. Although this type of service is unacceptable if it's all the time. read more

I ordered 2 wedges. Each wedge had 3 slices of meat and 1 slice of cheese on them. There was more bread than actual meat. Trying to support local businesses especially during this time. Didn't mine that the prices have obviously gone up but didn't expect the quality of the sandwiches to go way down. read more

I used to go there all the time until one time I ordered some sandwiches and made a coffee and put hot chocolate in it. While waiting for my sandwiches to be made I took a nice big sip of my coffee/hot chocolate drink I noticed some chunks in my mouth. I proceeded to the bathroom to spit out my drink only to find 4 flies in my drink now in my mouth! Well I threw up because it was so disgusting and reported it to the girl at the counter. None seemed disgusted or surprised. And they offered me a free coffee. How about a free lunch!! But then again if they don't clean their hot chocolate machines then what else are they not cleaning!!! Only problem is that it's so close to Arlington high school so I end up seeing people I graduated with. they are kind of slow because of the lunch rush so call to order before you show up. Their chicken cheddar and Kowboy are the two best sandwiches. Their chicken is kinda dry though and they usually over cook their bacon. But I love this place and their food! read more
