Still super pleased with Gino's. The pizza is always ready quickly and the ingredients are noticeably fresh. This time around I went for a gluten free white pizza with tomato, broccoli and garlic. Absolutely delicious! There was a very pleasant woman inside when I went to pick up and she seemed to know the locals. I'm sure there are quite a few regulars because the food is amazing. This is an outpost of the original Gino's on Main Street in Poughkeepsie. Clean open space, nothingvfancy, just casual. Lots of options behind the glass for plain, Sicilian and specialty slices. Friendly service. Prices are reasonable, if on the bit of the high side. Convenient to just pop in for a slice or two driving by or running errands. This was by far the worst pizza I ever had. I Wish I would have paid by credit card because I would fight the transaction. I order two slices of Sicilian. I knew things were going to be good when I saw him take it out of a plastic bag from the refrigerator. So let start of the Pizzo's wasn't cool completely through and center was still frozen or more toward raw taste. The sauce was very bland and the cheese was so salty that I couldn't even eat it !! Looks are deceiving as this place doesn't look like much from the outside but omg everything I have gotten there is amazing! Their soups are plentiful and tasty, their pizza is really good (and I'm from the Bronx so I know), also their sandwiches and hot dishes are really good! Such a hidden gem. It's my first time ordering from Gino's. I've heard good things about there pizza so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza hoping that it would meet my expectations when I received the pizza I noticed multiple large loogies and ejaculated all over the pizza. Cooks name was Sean and took full accountability about it and all he had to say about it was "my kids are all over that pizza, enjoy eating my kids." It's a complete outrage that anyone in their right mind would think this is ok in any circumstance. Totally dissatisfied and disgusted. -5 out of 5 stars. Worst pizza in the Hudson valley. read more

I won't lie...this place sucked hardcore when it first opened. We went during their opening week and the pizza was on par with a box of frozen Elios. But anyone who ate their prior to end of last year...just give it another shot. I don't know what happened to make it so much better but after hearing from someone that it improved, I went back and it is now my go-to pizza place. Their veggie pies and General Tso chicken pizza are always fresh and delicious. Just...take my word. This is well worth another shot if you hated it before. read more

My gf and I ordered a chicken salad along with a sausage and peppers sub to go after a long day of traveling. When we got to our hotel and sat down to eat my gf's salad had no chicken. I called Gino's Pizza who was extremely apologetic, asked for my address and said they would deliver the chicken. Wow I thought, that's awesome! Within 5 minutes there was a knock on our hotel room door and they not only brought us the chicken but a surprise cannoli! Customer service is still alive and faith in humanity restored! Best Pizza in Dutchess County. You have to try their calzones... I don't know what they do to the doe, but its so good!!!!!!

I went there today and ordered a chicken and bacon slice. I was surprised the lady charged me $4.65 for one slice. Some other places charge $3.00 to $3.50 for a gourmet slice. There's a new one on main st. They only charge $7.00 for 2 gourmet slices and a can of soda. Seems like if you order individual its not worth it unless you order a whole pie. read more

Pizza arrived 50 minutes after we received the "out for delivery" email. We live five minutes up the road. Driver practically flung pizza at my husband when he arrived. Pizza is freezing. There are a couple of pizzas spots in this area... the pizzas are generally the same so it's really the service that stands out to me.. don't get me wrong but I love everyone there except this one tall teenage looking girl that gives me a terrible attitude every time I am there!!! After taking close to an hour and a half to deliver our food, we got the wrong order (except for our garlic knots)....but the right receipt. We called the delivery guy back, and we were told to "call Gino's again." He came back to take the incorrect food, and tried to say that he would switch the orders back....even though ours had already been delivered to someone else. After calling and saying we didn't want food that had already been given to other people, we decided to just ask for a refund and go somewhere else. Asked for baked ziti. What I received was just noddles, sauce and cheese. Assembled all under 10 mins. Kept looking for the ricotta, none there. Not a fan of any of the components. If you are in the mood for a margarita pizza this isn't the place to get it! They are so cheap with the cheese that some slices don't even have cheese on it. And the cheese that's on it isn't even melted. Go across the street to the other pizza restaurant for your margarita pizza. read more

I USED to LOVE GIno's -- this is no complaint about their food -- however, NEVER WILL I EVER ORDER FROM OR EAT AT GINO'S AGAIN. Just spent almost 30 minutes trying desperately to communicate IN BLOODY ENGLISH with an ENGLISH speaking young woman -- who - no matter that I was READING DIRECTLY FROM THE BLOODY MENU - COULD NOT get the order correct. After 20 minutes of going painfully over the order we then had to discuss the total price she quoted me -- and she was charging me extra for toppings on pizza THAT WERE LISTED AS PART OF THE PIZZA - SWEET LORD HELP ME. You CANNOT charge extra for Broccoli and garlic and cheese when your customer orders a broccoli garlic and cheese pizza as it is listed on your menu. ARGUMENT ensued. Then she informed me that the menu I was looking at was one she was not familiar with and proceeded to tell me that in addition to a delivery fee, she was going to charge me what amounted to $9 more -- consistent with what she felt were the appropriate prices. There was NO logic to this and NO reasonable and polite conversation to be had with this poo head gal -- so I just canceled the bloody thing. read more
