Our order was a medium cheese pie, chicken wings and a noodle o soup. YUCK, YUCK AND PUKY YUCK!!!! The pizza crust was like a dry pita, not much sauce, and flavorless one cheese pizza. Wings were crispy but flavorless, unseasoned. The soup, OMG !! What a horrible odor, puke! Stupid me thinks it'll maybe taste better than it smells!! Well, lesson learned, tasted like puke! The location is at the corner of a sweet looking town. They have a few spaces for parking in the backside and two picnic tables. Sorry no pictures of food it wasn't appealing enough to photograph! read more

Still a great local pizza joint in the Hudson valley. It's a small shop off the beaten path in Glenham but it's worth the extra few minutes to check this place out. By far the best items are the garlic knots and white pizza Bianca. It's smothered in mozzarella, ricotta, garlic and bacon. Even without the bacon it's bomb good! read more

OK, so despite what is possibly the most unfortunate sounding name in the history of restaurants...Laby's does a nice job. If you're looking for super thin crust NY-style, mega large slices, enough cheese that it bunches up in the middle when you fold the slice, and of course a nice puddle of red pizza grease on your plate when you tip it - this is what you're going to get. And I'm totally OK with that, compared to typical pizzeria fare. These guys have the NY style down. read more

Ok, typical local pizzeria. Many locals say it's great so finally decided to get a basic cheese pizza. Sauce is slightly sweeter than most. Spice combo in sauce is on the bland side, definitely not fresh herbs. Based on prices you would expect the pizza to be at same level as other pizzerias in the area(Ie. This has become my favorite local place to order pizza (or on occasion my boyfriend and I also order an entree). We've tried almost all of the other local shops, but from our first order here we have been loyal customers. Love the location, it's a small corner shop, cozy (I have never eaten in). The service is fast and friendly, there is always someone to greet you. We have had delivery on a few occasions and that has always come quickly and arrives hot and fresh. The location is right around the corner from our home so it's convenient, their hours are also great if you're running late and need dinner. The pizza itself is delicious, the crust is cooked perfectly. If you order by the slice, the slices are huge! They have always been willing to cater to specific orders (extra sauce, extra cheese, and I have to recommend the mushrooms as a topping, delicious!). Their soups are fantastic and go excellent with their side of bread, it is so good sometimes I order extra. Over all it's a great little place where everything's made to order. The care they put into their food makes all the difference! read more

We arrived at 3:50 p.m., and they told us that they were closing in 10 minutes. Yikes. A family that arrived after us was turned away. I could see the deep disappointment in their eyes. I can only guess that BEAST doesn't want the business. Again, this was during the afternoon on one of the busiest BBQ days of the year. I.E. This wasn't some slow, late, and empty night. It was a sunny afternoon, and Fishkill's Main Street was hopping and vibrant. The staff did allow us to eat our meal, though, and didn't kick us out, but they were itching to close up shop. I guess they all have better things to be doing. (?) The food was, well, "okay" but overly pricey. The smoked wings are good here. I'll give them that. I would only get those if I ever came again (though the blue cheese dressing was weak). The other food (brisket, sausage, and mac n' cheese) was not poor, but it was also not memorable. Maybe a "C" grade all around? It's a neat spot for drinks (good spirits selection) and wings if you're in the neighborhood and they're open. But double-check their hours before heading out.

Some pizza places are good. Some become part of your life…read more We lived around the corner from Emiliano's from 1999 to 2005, and it was our go-to spot for lunch, dinner, and delivery. Back then, we knew it was special. What we didn't realize was just how much we'd miss it after moving away to Western New York. For this visit, we drove more than an hour out of our way specifically to eat here. That's how much this place means to us. We ordered two mushroom slices, a white slice, and a cheese slice, and every bite reminded us why we've been talking about this pizza for more than twenty years. The slices are huge, loaded with fresh ingredients, and somehow manage to hold their shape perfectly. No floppy crust. No toppings sliding off. Just classic New York pizza done exactly right. In fact, Emiliano's is our gold standard pizza pie. Every other pizza we eat gets measured against it. The mushroom slices were generously topped and packed with flavor. The cheese slice was everything a New York slice should be: simple, balanced, and delicious. The white slice was outstanding as well. While we waited, the owner even brought us a complimentary piece of fried dough, which was a thoughtful and very appreciated gesture. What really stands out, though, is the atmosphere. Service was prompt and genuinely friendly. It seemed like everyone who walked through the door knew somebody. There's a strong sense of community here that feels increasingly rare these days. More than twenty years after we first became customers, Emiliano's is still everything we remembered it to be. Affordable, welcoming, and serving what we consider the best pizza around. We'll keep making the trip back. Without question. This is New York-style pizza at its finest.
