My fiancé and I came into Patsys super excited to try their Wappingers location as we are from Brooklyn. We expected the pizza to be similar to the Patsy locations in the city. Very unfortunate, the food seemed to be thrown on the plate and not made with Patsys love like we are used to! Seemed like the owners don't know what real Italian food is, random weird dishes on the menu. We ordered a regular pie and oh my the prices!!! Pizza was ok... nothing outstanding compared to other pizza joints around the area. So sad. Terrible service - asked the waiter three times for wine and they didn't give it until the 4th ask and already close to 20 minutes after sitting down. This place serves pizza and pasta and they didn't even start an order until 25 minutes after we sat down and ordered. The actual food quality is average. Nothing special but edible. Nice atmosphere! Great waitress. BUT Disappointed in their prices at lowest a large pie starting at $19. I can't get myself to spend $19 on a pizza pie, So I got the egg plant Parm. The egg plant parm was $22 it came with pasta and a salad. The only thing that was wrong with it is that there is no cheese on the eggplant Parm. They did not layer any cheese in between the eggplant Parm!! I'm not sure if it's normally like or if the chef forgot ? Big portion size which was nice but I am definitely a cheese kind of girl so I was definitely disappointed that there was no cheese on it. I give it fairly two stars based on their food quality. This afternoon we went to Patsy's before seeing a play in Wappingers Falls. They were so accommodating and we had an excellent meal. We had two pizzas, the thin crust, YUM, and an individual. Additionally had a great pasta dish it was so good I really cannot get it out of my mind, want to go back again later this week and have it again. So glad they opened up a location here in the Hudson valley. We love their pizza and food... and the service is always friendly. My only compliant the last couple of times we've been here for take out there were very little COVID precautions. They were having a holiday party where dozens of people inside were not wear a mask and drinking. They mixed got our orders wrong but the food was still good. I saw the average rating for Patsy's in Wappingers was three stars, which hits the nail on the head. These guys are a little on the pricey side, but I wanted to give them a try because of their legendary status in New York City and was excited to hear they were opening a shop in the area. I ordered a Macellaio Pizza, which is basically a fancy name of a meat lover's pie. So I had the pie, and the verdict is in. A nice, enjoyable, tasty pizza, however interchangeable from the countless other pizza shops in the area (but more $$$.) Would I go again? That's going to be a no for me Dawg. Drove up from Fishkill to check the place out today at around 4PM. As I entered I did not see a counter, or pizza oven. Just a bar with a few people sitting at it and a small dinig room. A nice young lady approached and asked if she could help me. I replied asking for pizaa slices to go. I was told "we do not have slices ,only pies". WHAT? a pizza shop with no pizza? really? Where I come from if you have a sign out front that reads "Pizzeria" slices are being served piping hot fresh out of the oven all day. But this place didn't even have the usual half cooked slice pies on the counter (bar). I left hungry. read more

What a wonderful night out! Patsy's staff and owner treat you like you are family from the moment you arrive. The food was delicious and portions were perfect. We tried the stuffed clams and they truly were packed with clams-not breading. Spot on! We also tried the linguini Hollywood. The sauce was so flavorful and they were very generous with the shrimp. The broccoli rabe was cooked perfectly! For dessert we indulged by ordering the cannoli which was made in house, nice and creamy with a super crunchy shell. We also tried the espresso martini--wow! If you are looking for an all around wonderful time, city like ambiance and to be treated like family--look no further--Patsy's is the place to go! We can't wait to go back. Oh my goodness, what a gem of a restaurant! First of all, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and the servers and bartender are SO nice. It's a family owned restaurant, so you can definitely feel the care they put into this place. The pizza has a wonderful wood fired flavor with super thin crust, it's my new favorite! And don't let the name fool you, they serve more than pizza! We also had delicious fried calamari, and my ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband really liked his chicken francese as well. They have a fully stocked bar, and the drinks were so good. What a great date night spot or a place to eat with family. Their pizza is delicious, but always cold when served. Not once in the last 3 months have I gotten a hot pizza from Patsy's. The customer service is lacking, and rarely do you feel satisfied and happy with their service after speaking with the staff. Their prices are outrageous, as they charge more than any other pizza restaurant in the area but without the service and care to back it up. (They charge full price for toppings on a whole pizza even when you only want it on half, for example. Lack of common sense in their pricing.) If you have an air fryer and are willing to heat your food up, sure their pizza is nice. Otherwise, there are a dozen places within 5 miles of Patsy's that I'd recommend first. This place advertised itself on being the only authentic Italian in town. Funny because that is kind of insulting to the other REAL authentic Italian restaurants in the village of W. Real "authentic" Italian food made by a kitchen full of Guatemalans. I am not sure what kinda of customers they are making this stuff for but it is certainly not for the locals. Never again! Came to this place with my family to enjoy what I thought would be good food, boy was I wrong. I should of known when the waiter serves us flat drinks. How can you as a waiter not realize there is no carbonation in the drinks? We get our salads and my hubby got a raw piece of squid in his. Are they that Careless that they just toss stuff and serve. Hopefully he won't get sick from this. We waited exactly 1 hour and we were about to just pay for our drinks and leave. Then the food finally comes out. A waitress who seemed like a manager came over and apologized. She said the kitchen was backed up but I asked myself how if the party of 5 that got there 30 mins after us was already eating their dinners? I got the chicken marsala and the chicken was not fresh. My pasta had little to no sauce. I didn't even bother to ask for more sauce because who knows how long that would take. To top things off there was flys happily flying around our table. My son wasn't able to eat his food because he was busy swatting the flies away. What an absolute disappointment. Will we return.... No thanks! This place doesn't even get the 1 star. read more

This restaurant is owned by Albanians as was Lil Jozeffs which closed and this one was reccomended. They can make a very moist Delish plain pie as was what I got for 19.49 for large plain pie the first time. The second Fri that i bought the same pie, apparently a new hire was learning at my expense. The box felt heavier and when I opened it at home , I saw circles of sliced tomatoes atop and way too much cheese. I attempted to pick up a slice but the crust was way too thin and it flipped down with the cheese sliding off. I immediately contacted the store and told a male voice of my disappointment. He apologized and offered to make me another pie and explained the new hire was learning. As it is ten miles from my home, returning would Hve been a 40 mile investment and time did not permit. The following Friday I called and spoke to the owner to ensure that the new hire not be the man touching my pie. He assured me that he the owner would personally make my pie. He was a man of his word plus he gave me two pies and only charged for one. They were both thin tasty and fabulous like the first one. However when I returned on the third Friday and opened the box it looked fine and I was told the new hire was let go. However upon trying to remove a slice at home , I was met with once again a very thin pizza that flopped over and could not be held and eaten by hand. Had to get a knife and fork to eat it. Very tasty but no crust to speak of . Tried contacting the owner on the fourth Fri but he was not there. I had met a nice young man named Cliff who had made me a pie subsequent to the bad ones and his was perfect. Now last week I called and was told Cliff was not in but the Chef was n it was not the new hire. By the time I got there I saw Cliff an was relieved but he said he didn't mke this pie having only arrived moments before me. I opened the box n attempted to take out a slice and was once again met with a limp too thin a crust. Cliff offered to make me another pie but time was ticking so I took ot and once again ate it with a knife and fork. I will call again tomorrow Fri the 27 th n try to see if I will try them again if I can be assured that Cliff or Elmie the owner will make my pie. Otherwise I am done. I'm summation a great tasting pie albeit too thin three out of the five times I've bought them and very inconsistent pie making all around. The answer may be to arrive later than 1:40 in the afternoon when apparently Cliff gets there after school or other commitments. The owner is willing to make up for the poor pies I've bought but by now I'm not happy to drive there and hope it's made right It's a white table cloth establishment which has only had eat on customers once in the five times I have been there. Two older guys sat down on my first visit but I believe were intimidated by the look of the white table cloth set up that looks a bit too classey for pizza n they got up and walked out. read more

I have eaten at the original in East Harlem/Spanish Harlem. The Pizza is almost as good as the original Patsy. Anyone who know anything about pizza knows the importance of a good oven, they have a charcoal oven. My two favorite ovens are charcoal and wood both give a different flavor to the pizza. As the oven age the better the pizza gets and cooks. We had a regular cheese pizza, the sauce and cheeses were just as good as NYC. Were I had to say I was slight disappointed was the crust, could have use a minute or two more to get that nice a crisp crust. Then we had Panna Alvodka and Pasta in a meat sauce. Again both pretty much on point the meat could have used a little more sauce. Were they lost a whole star was in service, they ran out of desserts it took them for every to bring out one of our cups a cappuccino. I had to ask for my check 3 times. I know they just opened up and need to work out the kinks ,hopefully they will because the potential is in there !! Looking forward to my next visit ! read more

My husband and I ordered one large extra cheese pie and one large pepperoni to go this evening. The first two pies we brought home, which is approximately a 10 minute drive away were burnt, cold and no extra cheese. We called and spoke with the manager and her excuse was that a bunch of orders came in at the same time and they were trying to cram them out. She offered to make a new extra cheese pie for us to pick up. Our children said they could handle the pepperoni (even after having to heat it up in the oven). We drove back for the 2nd extra cheese pie that they said they would remake. Today (Saturday) was 91 degrees and humid. When we get home the pie is mostly cold,thin, thin cheese and barely a difference in cooking. There pie's are $18 a piece and $3 a topping. Those prices are high when the average pizzeria in the area is $11- $13. I'd much rather enjoy one of those pizzas any day over Patsy's. Save your money and save having to go get something else different for your family to eat. read more

Customer service is indeed lacking like other reviewers have stated. Pizza was indeed cold once I got it. Ordered my pizza on an app. It didn't go through the first time because apparently their system was down, but it did an hour later. On this app it shows you the progress and updates for when your order is ready to be picked up. 35 minutes later it's still showing as being prepared. So I finally called and was told after confirming my name and order that it was indeed ready. So I went inside and asked how they usually let people know the food is ready and the young man, being a bit flustered or taken aback wasn't sure but he said to just come by 20 minutes after the order is placed. That's annoying but I figured he just didn't know, so decided to give any type of answer. However, as I was leaving, a woman who appeared to be the manager reiterated that her staff will not alert you on the app that the food is ready, especially not if they don't have time or are super busy, or it's on the weekend, (in which neither of those were the case for this instance) and that when the app tells you it's 15 or 20 minutes until it's ready, to just go by that. Then she said good luck to me for next time. So of course that says to me, they won't be doing their jobs by letting you know your food is ready. In the end, my pizza is super cold. I'm sure it will be fine once I re-heat it. I'd suggest to just do phone in orders with them because as they clearly stated, they don't want to follow the directions of Food Ordering apps. read more
