constantly had to wave the server down for anything. made for a frustrating rather than relaxing experience in cold spring. weirdly thin cream cheese on an industrial metal plate. felt like i was in a modern art museum. it wasnt bad but it was impossible to eat both components together because of how runny the cream cheese was and their choice of cherry tomatoes over a regular slice.

Stopped by here for lunch while visiting cold spring. It is a nice little spot from when we were walking by, they had indoor and outdoor seating. We had ordered the provoleta, sweet eggplant sandwich and empanada. The food was ok overall. Empanada had the flavor attempt but was a bit greasy and too salty. The eggplant sandwich was very basic, needed a little more seasoning, so I dipped that in the sauce from the provoleta. The provoleta is basically a big slice of cheese, fried and smothered in sauce. I would've preferred it in smaller pieces and not softened from the sauce. Sauce was tangy and needed a little more salt as well. Service was ok. Waiter didn't seem like he wanted be there or annoyed, maybe it was a bad day for him. Food did take awhile to come out, it wasn't too busy, so maybe it was just a bad service for the restaurant that day.

We visited Cold Spring and heard this cafe is good. Staff is very friendly and dog friendly. It's cute outside. It's nice to sit by the balcony if weather allows. We were disappointed by the food, however. The matcha latte-blank. No flavor whatsoever. 1/10. The tropi colada-too too too sweet.1/10 The fresh daily juice- the most decent one out of the 3 drinks-6/10 Breakfast burrito-meh. 5/10 Steak n eggs-has some flavor. The best is the sour dough with butter and jelly. 5/10 Morning sandwich-the bun is cold, not even toasted. 3/10 So maybe we expected too much out of this cafe and we ended very disappointed. Service is good. Food is not so much.

**Cozy Corner Café - A Must-Visit Breakfast Spot in Cold Spring** If you find yourself strolling through the charming streets of Cold Spring, do yourself a favor and stop by Cozy Corner Café. Tucked right on Main Street, the location couldn't be more perfect--welcoming, warm, and just the kind of place you want to start your morning. We tried a few of their breakfast staples: the Morning Sandwich, Eggs Benedict and Pancakes. The standout? Hands down, the pancakes! Fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection--they reminded us a lot of the legendary pancakes from Golden Diner in NYC. Yes, *that* good. The Morning Sandwich was absolutely fire--well-balanced, hearty, and satisfying. The Benedicts were basic, could skip it if you want as the menu has a lot of other items and we would for sure try something else instead of this the next time we visit! I also grabbed a caramel latte - a bit on the milkier side for my taste, but still enjoyable. Honestly, the whole experience was elevated by the friendly staff and warm hospitality. You can tell they care about making guests feel welcome. The ambience Cozy (as the name promises), with the perfect blend of small-town charm and stylish café vibes. Whether you're a local or just visiting for the day, Cozy Corner Café is a must-visit.

This was a slightly underwhelming experience with food but otherwise it was great and I won't knock this weird first time as the barometer. We visited for a light breakfast on a rainy week day and the town was pretty dead. We sat outside and had a very attentive server. We ordered a latte, Arnold Palmer, chia bowl, side of bacon and key lime pie. The bowl was not very flavorful except for the large dollop of maple syrup but everything else was good. However, what really made this lackluster was the price of this visit that imo did not match the portion or overall order. I would revisit but for a heartier meal.

Salmon Burger, Mushroom Burger, Salmon Risotto (special), and Chicken Pesto Sandwich

Came here with a party of 6 on a Sat for lunch and waited about 20-30 min. We ordered a variety of things for the table: Salmon Burger, Mushroom Burger, Salmon Risotto (special), and Chicken Pesto Sandwich. The Salmon Burger and the Salmon Risotto (which was a special for the day) were so great!! Juicy salmon that was perfectly cooked. Our server (lady, didn't get her name unfortunately) was the absolute sweetest and accommodated to all our big party's requests (helping us with the umbrella at the table, meal accommodations, etc). Def would love to come again if I was ever upstate again!

I came here over Labor Day weekend and I had a great experience. I got the crispy eggplant sandwich and my fiance got the steak sandwich we switched halves so that we can try both and I preferred the eggplant! It was very flavorful but also fresh. The steak while delicious felt a bit heavy. I also got an Arnold Palmer it was good but nothing crazy. The inside of the restaurant was homey and cozy and the service was pretty quick. I would definitely come here again but one thing to note is that there was a wait of about 20 min at lunch time to get seated

Would definitely come back! I came in with a group of 9 and service was great - all food came out roughly around the same time, waiters checked in appropriately I got the morning sandwich and it was solid, fruit side was very fresh The key lime pie is divine!

It is a very busy and spacious restaurant, however, the quality of the food isn't that exciting. The empanadas were good, however, the skillet was greasy. When asked about the contents of the skillet, we were told it would have fried chicken. When the skillet came out, the chicken felt like frozen chicken tenders.

    Fried chicken? And waffle

Came here this past weekend for a late brunch. We were sat at a table in the back. The room was extremely warm and stuffy. It was a hot day but I'm pretty sure it was hotter in this room than outside. We were given Lukewarm water, no ice. I kept asking for ice and the waiter kept giving me a tiny amount. I ordered fried chicken and waffles. It was more like chicken nuggets on top of a waffle, very little syrup, no butter. Had to ask for extra syrup and butter but we were given only 2 small pads of butter. The dish tasted ok but not worth the $22 price tag. My friend ordered the gravlax toast. It was tiny and about $19. I guess people come here because it's the only place on the street that serves brunch but I can't imagine ever coming back here. The food was mediocre and overpriced.

Cute decor, fast and friendly service, good food and presentation. Perfect breakfast spot .

    Wild bacon burger - underwhelming
    Esther T.

Unsure of where to eat in the vicinity, I chose this place for convenience. Looked like a cute place with a promising menu. I ordered the wild bacon burger, which was basically a bacon cheeseburger with chipotle mayo and grilled onions. For $22, I'm expecting a solid gourmet burger. Much to my dismay, it was extremely underwhelming. I could get the same type of burger at a NYC bodega for less than half the price and probably tastier. The burger was dry and had zero flavor. There was zero hint of chipotle in the mayo and I couldn't taste any bacon whatsoever. Were these ingredients in the room with us? I had to ask myself if I had Covid which was why I couldn't taste anything. Service was decent. Restroom was clean.

This place definitely lived up to the cozy name, its small here but a lot of charm, between the paintings, decor and creaking floors. The server was very nice and helpful in explaining menu items at best she could, since some items not were too common. For the food, honestly it was objectively good, home fries were well seasoned and nice they used red potatoes instead of Idaho one, though could been crisped up. Side salad was good, plenty of greens and the dressing was very tangy and savory. For the omelette itself, decent size and plenty of sausage, mushrooms and cheddar cheese to which was melted so perfectly I was able to swirl the cheese around my fork a couple of times. For the Arnold Palmer, I did like it, but could been way sweeter since it was pretty bitter.

My friends and I got the kofta platter and Turkish breakfast with the menemen, which was this interesting tomato and egg dish that was very soft and mildly sweet. The kofta beef meatballs were nice and savory, perfectly paired with the rice and salad. The Turkish breakfast is primarily a lot of cheeses with sauces and small bites with a bread basket - would only recommend if you like different kinds of cheeses and since it is very light on its own it would prob be best to order something in addition to it. My friends and I also tried the salep tea which was this traditional Turkish drink that is very thick and creamy, has a very unique texture with a sweet flavor and cinnamon garnish.
