We made a reservation for Moreish during our fall day trip to Beacon, and it definitely did not disappoint! I studied abroad in London a few years ago, and this definitely satisfied my craving for a full English breakfast! The sausage was super juicy and the hash brown was also a flavored well and had a more unique texture than a traditional hash brown. I also appreciate that they have a vegetarian full English as well :) We also ordered the scones w/ clotted cream and jam which were super delicious! We were stuffed to the brim after. I think we could've ordered 2 full English breakfasts and 1 order of scones instead for 3 people and have been full. Definitely want to come back and try their afternoon tea or Sunday roast! I recommend making a reservation because most people were turned away when they tried to walk in.

Drove over an hour to see my niece and we went there and wow was it good When you walk in you feel the peace and tranquility of a well run place The owner/ hostess was just the most down to earth quiet soul I got the fish and chips and must say one of the best I ever had My niece got the tofu Tiki Masala and ate every bite If you are looking for a peaceful place with amazing food and service it is a must go

This salad with the accompaniment of a hunk of cheese, apples, a pickle and onion relish, salted artisan butter and a lovely crusted french bread was absolutely delectable! I passed this restaurant a time before and knew if I was back I would stop in for a quiet bite by myself. A day date -me, myself and I. Boy! I AM SO OVERJOYED that I did! The wait staff was very kind. It's a Beautiful place to sit, read, scroll or even journal. I cannot wait to stop by again! Thank you!

I was recently visiting Beacon for the day with two close friends, and we had an incredible lunch at Moreish. I had looked into the place before we arrived and had tried to make a reservation, but they didn't have much availability online. We put our name in once we arrived and were luckily able to be seated about 40 minutes later. I had hoped to experience their breakfast menu, but they switch over to the lunch menu at noon. Nonetheless, we were all happy with the food, wine, and excellent service. My one friend and I had the fish and chips, which in retrospect, we wished we had shared since it was massive. Both the fish and the chips were perfectly fried and so tasty. Our other friend got the Ploughman's Lunch, which was also substantial but came with a salad, which made it lighter and more manageable. It's such a cute and charming restaurant and you can see how much care they take in preparing their food. I hope to return someday soon.

We stumbled upon Moreish and had the BEST experience! The food, decor, and service were all excellent - will 100% be back. Also, it's a locally-owned mom-and-pop store, and they treat everyone like family. Go here, you won't be disappointed!

I stopped in here to grab a bite during the beacon food crawl. The Eton mess, which was fabulous raspberry dessert with whipped cream was amazing! I also thoroughly enjoyed the sausage that was in cased in a puff pastry. The lady that worked there was extremely informative and gracious as a hostess. Loved it!

British food at its finest! A newly opened restaurant serving comfort food from across the pond. I can say that the food tasted as good as that which I ate in London. I will return for the pie of the day! We were served by a friendly bloke named Michael with a charming British accent. The restaurant is contained within the Hudson Valley Food Hall which has many places to eat. The noise level is moderate and there is street parking.

Delicious! The great dish to wash down a night of tiredness from Bourbon Whiskey. Service is great.

We had a great breakfast experience at Moreish. The restaurant is tastefully decorated (the bathroom was my favorite!) Warm and inviting, the environment allowed us to slow down and enjoy the delicious food and tea. Here's what we had: 1. scones and clotted cream with jam (5/5) a delicious blend of sweet and savory and great way to start the meal. 2. Vegan English Breakfast (5/5). In one word- LOVE. There was a lot of attention paid to the tofu scramble. The taste of the olive oil really came through in all the right ways. Grilled mushroom and tomato, layers of flavors. Baked beans do not disappoint. Husband had smoked salmon which I didn't try but looking at his empty plate, I'd say another (5/5). A great experience on all levels. Will be back for sure.

Outstanding ! My first visit for a surprise birthday breakfast and it was wonderful. The scones were delicious as well as the pancakes and home fries. Served hot and fresh and oh so BRITSH! . The owner and servers were truly delightful too. I cannot wait to return again and again. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Cute and cozy breakfast spot. The full English was hearty and filling, and the scones were nice and fluffy, albeit a bit crumbly.

From the very beginning, Chris, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Since The Beacon Daily typically does not offer direct delivery for a la carte orders, I explained that this lunch was part of a very important three day celebration and that everything needed to be handled with extra care. Without hesitation, Chris personally stepped in, took ownership of the order, and even delivered it himself all the way to Glynwood's Perkins House. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly remarkable. He thoughtfully provided compostable plates, napkins, and flatware and made sure every aspect of the order was handled flawlessly. It is rare to find a business owner so personally invested in ensuring a customer's event is successful. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. The event planner shared that the lunch was extremely well received, with guests offering numerous compliments throughout the afternoon. Everything was fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and perfect for our group. Chris went above and beyond in every way, and the combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made The Beacon Daily one of the highlights of the event weekend. If you're looking for a caterer or lunch provider that truly cares about quality and customer experience, look no further than The Beacon Daily. Thank you, Chris, for helping make our event such a success!

This place is counter service, so we made our way directly to the register to place our order. Upon ordering, we were warned that it would be at least a 30 minute wait until our food was ready due them being short staffed. Although we were hungry, we weren't in a rush and truly appreciated the heads up! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich and WOWZA! The sandwich was HUGE! I took a photo of my Gatorade bottle laying next to it for comparison (haha). I hardly ate half of it because it was so filling, however it was definitely delicious. My husband ordered a sandwich of his own (although I can't remember which one) and he was equally pleased. We also ordered a side of tots which were crispy and salty, just how I like them! My husband and I definitely could've shared one sandwich as we both don't eat a lot in one sitting, so this is something to keep in mind if you're reading this before your first visit here!! The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we chose to sit on the front patio. It was such a lovely atmosphere for lunch! Also, because we were sitting outside, they told us to come back in 30 minutes to check if our order was ready because we wouldn't be able to hear them call our name. All in all, a pleasant experience! Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, especially if you're in the mood for sandwiches.

The Bee's Knees cocktail wasn't for me. It was way too sour. That said, I think that's more on me for ordering it than the drink itself since it's meant to have that flavor profile. The shrimp scampi was easily the best dish we ordered. So good. Make sure to dip the baguette into the buttery shrimp sauce. If you're sharing, I'd recommend ordering extra bread because you'll definitely want it. The garlic parmesan wings were excellent. We also tried the blackberry BBQ wings. I didn't really care for that flavor combination but I'm still glad I gave them a shot. Both flavors had big meaty wings that were cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was really good. Definitely more of an elevated version with a lot going on. I enjoyed it but it was a little too fancy for the kiddo who prefers a simpler mac and cheese. The chicken tenders were very basic and the fries that came with them were pretty weak. We also ordered the garlic parmesan truffle fries which were much better than the regular fries, even if they weren't anything special. The lemonade was also too sour for my taste. We ended up adding sugar ourselves and after that it was much better. Overall, we had a good meal. The shrimp scampi and garlic parmesan wings were the clear standouts, service was friendly, and the atmosphere made for an enjoyable experience. I'd come back, but I'd definitely order differently next time.
