Today i stopped off here after having it on My to try list. I got hokkaido milk cake and a bubble milk tea. Milk tea: pretty watered down, wasn't awful, but not particularly good either. Just meh and watered down. Nowhere near as good as when Matcha Thomas had a storefront, but it's ok for this area, better than nothing. Hokkaido milk cake: it was ok, super tiny. Price: $9 for a mediocre bubble milk tea with a fancy case? Insane. Way overpriced. Atmosphere: beautiful inside. Overall: may be back again, but won't go out of my way. read more

First off, I do understand that they were slightly understaffed as that is what they had announced to everyone, but to wait 50+ minutes to order and receive our items is slightly too much. Maybe it's because we're used to the fast services of the city, but all would've been excused if the items we received were just as good. However, we didn't expect to pay $8 for a single scoop of ice cream, especially with the box being smaller than our hand. Also waiting 50 minutes for watered down tea was very disappointing. Some of us have worked in the boba/drink industry so we had high expectations, but when we all tried our drinks...all our smiles dropped. Frankly, it just wasn't good. The interior was great and the cashier was really sweet, but it wasn't enough to make up for the taste. This bubble tea cafe is literally one of beautifully designed and decorated places I been too, it's really relaxing to bonsai trees in floor, to digital fireplace and comfy seating. They went hard on atmosphere here. The service here was amazing too, the counter cashier was so polite and friendly like every customer was valued and had no problem letting me know what something was like and its taste when I asked, like when I asked about strawberry cream pancake and she warned me the strawberry flavor was strong in it, and she was right. The pancake itself was very light, but filling well is in your face strawberry flavored . The Beignet was chocolatey goodness, but I really wish it had way more white chocolate filling inside. The strawberry mint slush was refreshingly delicious and I got brain freeze from how cold it was. My 12 year old is obsessed with boba teas and of course we couldn't pass Rowseelee by when visiting Cold Spring. It was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in early October and the line was LONG. The wait was worth it though, because the teas were delicious and the packaging was super cute. I had a green apple fruit tea and my daughter had mocha tea with strawberries and whole milk. I gave it a chance. It impressed me with all the details. First of all, I saw Vietnamese coffee on the menu. Though we didn't order it, I think my rose latte was made by Vietnamese coffee. Delicious! My husband had the cold crew, which was Kona Coffee. He really enjoyed it! And not to mention, the presentation of the drinks. They came in cans, which we needed to remove the lids and pull the rings to open. It was so cute. And the ice in the drinks were spheres, which more impressed me. This is a must try spot if you enjoy Asian drinks. What really makes this spot stand out is the aesthetic which is a modern nature with sleek lines and seating but touches of moss lit up underneath the floors and mirrored fireplace accent wall. Seating is ample considering the small space and feels cozy throughout. As for the drinks I tried a lychee bubble tea that was very tasty and again came in an aesthetically pleasing cup that you almost want to take home and reuse. The place was bright and they had some interesting gifts on the wall near the cashier register. The wait was long and there was only one cashier with at least 20 people on line. When it was my turn, I saw a sign advertising the strawberry lychee slush tea so I figured to give that a try instead of getting my usual cold black tea. Well, I didn't know the price and it rung up as $11.95! I was like WHAT! I told the cashier that I would change my order back to my original choice of the cold earl grey black tea. She was very understanding and didn't give me a problem about this. The tea was amazing, very flavorful with a tinge of a citrus after taste. I am glad I stuck with this choice as I use it to compare bubble tea places. This was the best that I have had. I also love the container and how they provide a cap to reseal the drink.
