Strawberry matcha boba
Sasha G.

Lovely, tranquil place. We got a strawberry matcha with boba, 50% sweetness. All sweetness is agave which is pretty cool. I loved it-- tasty, you could taste the matcha AND the strawberry which in my experience is rare with strawberry matchas. Sweet and efficient customer service.

Serine space, great lighting with cute window seats. Chill vibey area to wait for the bathroom Only matcha, didn't see any coffees. They ask your sweetness level which I really appreciate. I got their matcha Thomas signature drink and it was delicious! They even had chargers to use for your phone! A little expensive but high quality

I love a good matcha! This place has incredible ambiance, minimalist yet personal and cozy. The matcha quality is great with a perfectly sized menu. I got the dirty matcha which contains hojicha. It was a bit bitter (i got low sweetness) but that is what I prefer! My friend got the gingerbread chai and thought it was perfectly spiced. Check this place out if you want a great place to hang out, it is highly regarded for a reason.

Amazing matcha! You can taste the earthiness and it's not bitter at all. Apple pie matcha: sweet yet you can actually taste the puree and apple itself. Boba was soft and rich from soaking in the brown sugar. Brown sugar Vanilla matcha: super delicious, my type of sweet drink. Perfectly balanced drink. Service was super friendly and quick. Very cute space with enough seating. Love the ambiance and atmosphere, can't get over the interior design of everything. I can't wait to try more drinks the next time I come back to beacon. 10/10 highly recommended Approximately 5 min wait time

Pricey but love the vibe inside and my strawberry matcha was great! I got almond milk and 25% sweet which was perfect.

Favorite matcha spot in beacon! Love the intentional design and mindful space the owners created. They are a lovely sister duo and you can really feel the passion they pour into their business. I really appreciate the fresh housemade ingredients they use and the options for different sweeteners and sweetness levels, and different plant milk options. Oat and almond are very popular nowadays but weirdly not many places have soy, so I really appreciate having that as an option! The sweetness level of the drinks are also really nice. Especially since it is agave. 50-75% sweet works for me (I usually get 0-25% but their drinks aren't too sweet like other places, so I would try regular first and then bring it down from there!). They also have a super cute cart to take their boba to, like farmers market and other events. They're a really nice small business that partners with other small businesses. I love taking friends and family here. They truly are a great addition to the Beacon community.

This was a must-do spot that my friend recommended to me when I took a day trip to Beacon recently, and now I can see why!! The vibe is right up my alley, and all you could ever want in a cute cozy cafe! Its so warm and inviting, and they even have a really cool back room behind a curtain where you can chill on the couches, meditate, journal, or do whatever else you want to relax! The matcha was SO good and one of the bet I had! They have such a great assortment of flavors and options too!

TLDR; loved their matcha and hojicha drinks so much that I ended up ordering some of their matcha and hojicha powder online when I got home! During our visit to Beacon, we decided to stop by Matcha Thomas to get our caffeine fix in. It was a hot day so there was a line to order but the line moved fairly quickly. We ordered the matcha latte + boba and the hojicha latte (both with oat milk) and both drinks exceeded our expectations. The matcha latte was a vibrant green, with a creamy texture and it had just the right amount of earthiness and sweetness. The hojicha was a toasty brown color and the roasted nutty aroma was everything I wanted and more. Highly recommend checking out Matcha Thomas if you're seeking a refreshing sip.

It truly was such an exceptional experience. I learned that I like Boba for the first time it was also very interesting to try the different types of green tea. Unfortunately, I do not live close, but if I am ever in Beacon again, I will definitely be back. I may even go out of my way to get to Beacon for Matcha Thomas.

I came back, i got the fall pumpkin spice drink. SUPER tasty. Definitely one of my fav drinks! Will definitely be back to.

I'm a watermelon bubble tea fiend, so when I heard they had their fresh watermelon juice for the summer, I was psyched. The watermelon juice they use is very concentrated so they dilute it with milk and agave or matcha which gives it a less refreshing, more creamy (like cereal milk) taste than most places. Hats off to the owner who was so generous with me when I asked if she could remake it with regular decaf tea so it was more refreshing. She did and it was great! I even diluted it some more with seltzer later and it was so delicious. Thank you for making the swap - I really appreciated it and will come back when I'm in town and try the signature matcha.

I stopped in during a walk down Main Street and immediately loved the vibe. The space has that minimalist-yet-cozy aesthetic: clean lines, soft natural light, and the comforting smell of freshly roasted coffee beans in the air. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel like you could sit for hours and unwind. I ordered the lavender latte, and it was perfection. Smooth espresso, just the right touch of floral sweetness -- not overpowering, just beautifully balanced. It's officially my go-to whenever I'm in town. The staff was super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do, which makes the experience even better. Between the atmosphere, quality coffee, and the charm of Beacon itself, Big Mouth has easily become one of my favorite stops in the Hudson Valley.

I got the Iced Vanilla Latte which was fine and did the job. The espresso was extracted well, it was bold, and not overly intense. The vanilla was barely palpable as I didn't taste that sweetness I was looking for. I'd probably stick to some classic menu items rather than anything with an add-on. Decent try!

Asahi was the perfect place equipped and ready to make us happy with exactly what we wanted. I couldn't resist their beautiful seasonal purple drink with lemon and pea flower with little surprise bursts of flavor lychee boba. It was delicious, refreshing and so good!! When ordering milk tea, I always do slightly less sweet and less ice. For this one I kept the sweetness as it was and did less ice which I totally should've known not to since it was for sure one of the hottest days and it quickly melted away. I will say, since the boba bursts with lychee sweetness, I could've for sure gone down a bit on the sweetness level. Other than that, it was delish! Love that you can order ahead online or order from their DIY order station. Can't wait to try their bowls next time, everything looked so fresh and refreshing for a nice and hot day!

The result a pooling of oil at the bottom of the container which detracted from the flavor. In addition, I'm not sure if the proprietor was aware, but the packaging does state that it's best to keep refrigerated. In their defense, I did not call them once I recognize this.
