Summertime is a great time for some poke bowls and sushi. I love this place and the people - they are very welcoming. We ordered poke bowls with half white rice and half greens as a base. Added some yummy toppings and sauce on it and the blend was perfect for a summer noon - refreshing for the palate and cool for your belly. Would love to visit again.

On this 90 degree weather it was so refreshing to come here and order two slushies, matcha unsweetened and coconut! Beautiful ambiance, sunny looking and clean! Drinks very refreshing and a great rice! Service was friendly and fast!

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best poke bowl I've ever had. Most poke bowls look fancy and hit it all right but are so flavorless. This place hits the bowl with delectable sauces. Also unlimited toppings that don't cost extra. I got three proteins of spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and yellowtail and all were so fresh. I loved every bite here. $17

Well the staff was very friendly and offered menu items even let me sample the honey wasabi sauce to see if I wanted it in pokey bowl. Also staff was very organized and made sure to repeat my order to ensure it was correct. The blue crab fantastic roll was just that fantastic and packed with blue crab and plenty of eel which rare since usually you get a small amount in rolls. Overall the roll was worth it and definitely flavorful from spicy sauce and BBQ eel. As for the pokey bowl, that's awesome you get as many toppings as you like, I paid extra to get shrimp and spicy tuna, but with crab salad topping I essentially got three proteins. As much as I did like honey wasabi sauce it does get too much and my sinuses let me know. The ponzu jalapeño sauce I could not taste or notice buried. Still this place is only place with customizable poke bowls, gets points in my book, since you can get a different bowl and new experience every time, rather than boring pre selected. Also good this place has a self order kiosk if you want customize your order on the fly. Here is more of a to go place vibe, even though there is sitting here, it's alright nothing fancy.

This afternoon, my friend had a variety of their sushi, which he said was the freshest he's ever tasted. I had a Large Jasmine Milk Tea with no sugar (I didn't miss it!), extra Boba (Honey/Crystal) and Regular Ice. Also, I had a Poke (pronounced "po-kay") Bowl with Brown Rice, cooked Tofu, Salmon and Shrimp. Also, I had toppings: cucumber, edamame, green onion, Sweet Corn, Red Onion, Grape Tomatoes, Broccoli, Mango and Avocado. Also, I had the Non-Spicy House Poke Sauce, along with a garnish oc Cashew Nuts. We had our meals at the table and enjoyed the ambience of the immaculate, clean restaurant. The accessible unisex bathroom was immaculate. I loved the lighting and decorations in the restaurant, too. We'll be back!

Sauces are soooo sweet. Just get a bowl and add soy sauce. Good portion size and not horribly overpriced.

We decided to grab dinner here last minute on Saturday night of our trip to Beacon. This seemed…read morelike a great option because it meant that my husband and I could order different meals but still eat them together. There were only 5 different food stalls plus the ice cream stall in the very front, however only 3 of the food stalls were open at 7pm on a Saturday. This is a small town, so I get it, but I was thoroughly surprised at this because of how crowded the entire town had been all weekend (it was truly the perfect weather to be out here!). The taco food stall had some Mac and cheese that I really wanted, but he was so overwhelmed with making a large order with only one person helping him that he literally told me to come back in 30 minutes to place my order. I ended up ordering the Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwich from the burger place, where the guy (working solo) told me it would take about 30 minutes before it would be ready. We were in no rush, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! The ooey gooey cheese paired with perfectly browned Texas toast satisfied my hunger after a long day of hiking and window shopping. My husband ordered the Paneer Kati Roll + Mango Lassi from the Indian food stall. He liked the roll, however we both decided that the lassi was average at best. Additionally, they served it with ice which was a huge disappointment (**being that my husband is from India, we have standards regarding Indian food). I'm giving 4 stars because the overall atmosphere of this food hall was not the best... Definitely NOT enough seating... They didn't seem to have anyone on staff taking care of the place, so the two tables that were empty when we arrived were extremely dirty (we cleaned one ourselves). They also didn't have napkins readily available and only 2 individual restrooms, despite having a bar in the back. Also, it was SO DARK inside... Scarce lighting which was not very pleasant or welcoming, especially since the sun was shining brightly outside. There is an outdoor patio, which is great, however because the weather was nice it was completely full. Final thoughts: this is a great place to grab lunch or dinner with a group of friends, especially if no one can agree on where to go. There's a variety of options and something for everyone to enjoy!

But it's not a big gripe because the food is always well seasoned even if it isn't peppery. Great service and friendly staff at this Sri Lankan restaurant…read more The manager/owner used to be a chef at the UN after traveling the world for various stints after leaving Sri Lanka at age 25. He will fill you with his wealth of knowledge of Sri Lankan food as well as how his food is pure and wholesome. Food was very good. I had Sri Lankan rice entree specialty dish. Except for the the shrimp tasting like dried shrimp - which I hate with a passion the rest of the dish was pretty good. No complaints from my other guests who enjoyed their meals. The dessert was great. They have both vegetarian (including goat, beef, pork, shrimp, squid, and chicken) and non-vegetarian options. It fell short of five stars for two reasons: 1. the dried shrimp or dried fish taste in the dish (shimp, calamari, and chicken); and 2. the moderately high prices (I can only compare to prices at Indian restaurants in the city, and what people are typically paying for the same portion size at casual sit down restaurants) Since we don't frequent this location often it is a treat to stop by every once in awhile and introduce my friends to it. If you are on a budget and consume large volumes of food to be full, this is most likely a one off or a place you may want to skip. Otherwise, enjoy it. On premise parking lot and seems ADA compliant. It looks like it is in a house, but inside it is comfortable and casual. It appears there is allot more local customers than visitors from out of town. The interior plays tourist information on Sri Lanka while the interior is also decorated in culturally appropriate ascents. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and the space was fairly empty - perhaps two other tables occupied. It is in sort of a remote area outside the main drag of Beacon most are familiar with (not within reasonable walking distance). It's worth a try, especially if you are interested in healthier forms of food (ingredients).
